Can’t go wrong with this one!

Pricepulse is amazing. It does everything it says it would do. I’ve definitely been saving some funds bc of Pricepulse. I love hearing the notification and seeing a price drop!!!! Also, the graph showing the different prices along with if it’s the right time to buy or not helps out LOTS!!! It even imports your Amazon“wish list” and that allows for an obtainable goal to be set. My son (age 8) and I have been working with the curve
/graph to help him to learn to save over time......he is saving his funds for games and his Nintendo Switch. All in all, it’s a great app! You simply can’t go wrong with this one!!! Keep up the great work this app Crew!!!

Good app. Could be great with some tweaking.

this app does what it claims to do…kind of. More often than not, notifications about price drops are just wrong. “This item is it’s lowest price ever.” But the graph on the item’s page shows that that is false.

Lots of situations like that. You do get notified when there are price drops. You just can’t rely on the notification to accurately describe the price drop.

Another annoyance is the lack of global settings for things you can set on individual settings. For instance, I want to mark everything on all of my lists as “free shipping only.” I can’t do that. I have to do that on a per-item basis, which seems great until you remember your wishlist of 200 books. Just a global toggle for anything that you can edit on individual items to set that flag for everything all at once would be nice.

Wonderful Useful App!

The only two things I would suggest would be:
Being able to view the price history over time as a graph, per year, and for the totality of the data this app can obtain. I find myself having to look through each item’s long list trying to find the lowest price and guesstimating when during the year it drops. Not having to do this manually and incorrectly would be amazing!
And the second thing would be being notified on the first photo and price and percentage off if this app sees the range of the price not differing much. Just as a check mark or some sort of icon alongside, because I’ve noticed that there are lower percentage off items being shown, but it doesn’t tell me whether or not that item bounces its prices way up or down at other times.

Accuracy

Price drops are often incorrect. It will tell me an item in my list has dropped to $15, then I’ll hit buy it now and the actual price is $40. I say about 30% of the time , the prices listed within Pricepulse that entice me into hitting the ‘buy it now’ button are off by a significant enough margin that I change my mind about making the purchase. Also, Pricepulse freezes up a lot- pages won’t load at all, or only load part way. I think they’re working on that with the updates, though. It would be nice to be able to distinguish Prime items from items that are from 3rd party sellers . Many times there is indeed a price drop on the item itself, but once you hit buy it now, you’ll see that the shipping is $10, more than cancelling out the drop in in price.

Useful app with a geocities-level-of-busy interface

Handy app, especially for those who buy foods, cleaning products, and other items that need occasional replenishment. You can watch for price drops, timing your buys to maximize your savings. The home page looks like an old geocities web page created by a hyperactive Coke addict. There are videos, bouncing graphics, spinning wheels, etc, all going at the same time. Took off a star for the deceptive wheel you “spin” to gamble away points you’ve accrued. Although the wheel has equal-sized sections to make you think you have equal chances of stopping on any given section, it’s rigged. Your chances of it stopping on the big win section are much lower than the graphic would suggest.

Very helpful app, but the Spin the Wheel is deceiving

I’ve been using Pricepulse for a couple of months now and it’s great. I’m able to see piece history and make the right decision on when to buy. The only thing I strongly dislike is the spin the wheel game. When I first downloaded Pricepulse , it worked and I was winning coins pretty often. Fast forward a couple months and I’d say I lose about 90% of the times, and sometimes get lucky and win coins about 10% of the time. It’s very sketchy that when I first downloaded it was great and fair, but all the sudden after having it for sometime they are not taking advantage of me as a consumer.

Not bad. Could use a perspective switch.

I realize Pricepulse is ‘free’ because it is supported by affiliate sales, and it has a LITTLE BIT of a purchaser focus, but it’s still fairly obvious that when it comes right down to it, the developers are focused on revenue — and who can blame them in today’s economy?still, the ability to rely upon Pricepulse to be aggressively centered upon the purchasing customer ONLY and thereby do so to the exclusion of the selling customer’s preferences. It’s probably just me. Pricepulse works fine for what it says it will do, but it’s less aggressively on my side than I would prefer. That’s all.

App has really saved me some money!

I was a bit skeptical with Pricepulse because of the others I've used in the past and they say they will save you money and get you reimbursed... this one just finds you the lowest price of what you're looking for if you add it to your wish list and when you're ready to buy, hit click. No waiting for savings because it's automatic! I bought some adidas kicks $15 when they are regularly $60! It's free and easy to use. Def would recommend to my friends!

By

Handy.

I can see this leading to a lot of impulse buys, but I’ve actually managed to cut my impulse buys with this. When I’m on the fence on whether I actually need something, the mentality of let’s wait and see if I still want it in a month has been great. I’ve also managed to get a few things way cheeper than they are worth. It does get annoying when someone keeps lowering their price by a cent every day, so I wish there was a better control for that when there isn’t an exact target price you are looking for

Kindle books not supported & Shipping not included

When will kindle books be supported? I'd like to see the price of kindle books in my wish list. Currently they show as out of stock with no price. Not useful...

In addition, I believe the price that needs to be used is the price with shipping. If something is $300 Prime but then there's a vendor who changes the sale price to $200 with $100 shipping, then that price change is irrelevant!! I shouldn't get notified, because that's essentially the same price!

Broken - doesn’t credit you with earned points

I went through some of the options listed on how to earn coins. I haven’t done some before and after completing those, they’re finally checked but my account was not credited with the coins I supposedly earned.
So you can’t rely on the point system for the coins.
Works otherwise for the price alerts on SOME items on your watch list but not all hence the 2 stars. It seems to only be monitoring a few items. that isn’t apparent on the apps interface since it seems that the items are listed but you don’t get price alerts on all of them.

By

I love this app......

I am able to receive price alerts on items that I want but am not willing to pay the current price and can wait for the price to drop on. I also can view the price history to see what amount has been the lowest and the highest for the product. I love Pricepulse, it’s very useful and I use it daily when price shopping for anything necessary or for gifts I know I want to purchase for upcoming birthday and holidays.

Great app to receives reward and discount

This is a great app to receives when an article has been found with a decrease on price . If you wait the right time you can find a great decrease on prices

Pricepulse is going backwards, it reduced tha of point when you buy more , also it do not gave you the opportunity to play every 3 hours , also eliminated the addition of 10 point on item to be observed.
Very disappointed with Pricepulse

A fun way to save money

I’ve been using Pricepulse for a year now. I use it as a way to both control my spending urges as well as find the best deal. Every time I have an urge to spend I open up one of the daily boxes. If I don’t open a 50 or 100 coin bonus I save whatever it is I want to purchase for another time. It’s turned out to a moderately fun way to control my spending urges. I highly recommend Pricepulse!

Like it

Very handy tool so you can compare various products and "watch" anything you're interested in. this app will alert me when the price has decreased, if it might go even lower or if it might go up in price soon.👍
However, it sometimes seems me a notification that the price has gone down on an item I am watching, but when I tap on that item in my watched list, it has not gone down and seems to have gone higher sometimes.😡

A-Mazing

What did I ever do before Pricepulse?! It’s incredible. Don’t get me wrong, if you need something NOW, you’re going to pay, regardless of the price. But if there’s something you want, and are waiting for the best price, this is your App. This saved me a lot of money over the Holidays and continues to let me know when all of my watched items drop in price or, even better, reach their lowest price ever.

Price pulse

I’m enjoying Pricepulse for the most part, bt I have 2 complaints:
1) it keeps closing down & kicking me out , causing me to start all over again.
2) I think some of these prices are over-inflated, making the lower price seem like a great deal. I’m sorry, bt I doubt there’s melatonin for $72 & if there is & if there are ppl who pay that much for, you’re being duped!
Other than these 2 issues, I’ve liked the fairly well & would suggest giving it a try 😊

😒

App was good at first but had some flaws. It will tell you that there was a price drop for a certain amount of dollars & then when you go there it’s really hasn’t dropped that amount of dollars. Then you suggest your friends to use Pricepulse by sharing your link but even after they download it Pricepulse doesn’t add referral coins to your coin bank. Then if you make your purchases through Pricepulse you can earn coins & once you reach 1000 coins you can cash them out, which was great but it stopped adding my coins at 246 😐 I reached out to customer service which was a joke and got nowhere therefore I deleted Pricepulse 🙄 🗑

Very helpful

Pricepulse is so helpful, tells you when the stuff you want is the highest price it’s ever been, lowest, or when the price is average. Definitely helps me decide if I should wait to order somethings I can’t wait on if it’s at the highest it’s ever been. I like that it also tells you how much it’s over or under the average price and the percentage as well.

Beware! Spin the Wheel feature is rigged!

I did a mathematical quick study of the new Spin the Wheel feature. And spinner it 200 times... 78% landed on red (no win) and 8.5% on 50 points and 0% on 500 points. If you want a non-mathematical proof, record the spinning of the wheel in “slow motion” video, and you will see a continuity discrepancy half way into the spinning following a “not random” pattern but a forced biased result... Pricepulse is great as such, but the spinning feature is for your to loose 78% of your tries so regardless how much you earn points (and the company makes referral commissions on what you buy) it is very hard to reach the $10 discount bonus!

Pricepulse

Awesome app which watches all items you want it to and will alert you to buy when price drops occur. It will also allow you to see the lowest, highest and current prices and can show you the price history of the item. this app will advise you to buy or give you the probability of the item’s price to increase as well as what most people paid (average price) for the item.

How do you use the coins that you earn?

I just started using Pricepulse and so far it seems great. Just purchased 3 pillows and saved about $45 off the normal price. Just have one question.
As you use Pricepulse , you earn coins. I can’t find anywhere where it explains how to use them or how many you need. Can someone explain this please. Or tell me how to find out. Thanks!

Love! Easy & helpful!

I absolutely love Pricepulse for notifications when prices drop or if I’m making a purchase, to check the past comps to see if the price is higher than usual. I recommend it to so many people I know personally.

It had saved me a ton of money.

Plus I love watching items I don’t really need in hopes that one day the price will drop dramatically that I can’t refuse to buy it 😂

By

Easy to use

All things considered Pricepulse does what it describes and you can get it humming along minutes after download. Since I was in the habit of marking items for later purchase anyway (ie, wishlists) this app’s ability to import my lists directly and track price changes over time is an easy way to keep track of the right time to buy.

Great app just need to work out the kinks.

First of I just wanted to start off saying how much i love Pricepulse, everything from the daily deals to the chart of how the prices have fluctuated.
My only issue with Pricepulse is that some of the prices can be very inaccurate and also that there are many products that I’ve tried searching that can’t be found.
I’m sure in time the this app team will work out the kinks and figuring it out.

I don’t usually review apps but...

I only downloaded this a bit ago and already I’m madly in love. The User interface is beyond anything I’ve seen! Simple, elegant, and at the same time powerful! No clue why this hasn’t been downloaded more but I’ll be recommending to any other savvy shoppers! Pretty much Pricepulse equivalent of camelcamelcamel! That’s a high compliment!

Changing my rating

I had just rated this 5* but just discovered that the price history can have prices that are way out of whack, thus changing the average price and the recommendation to buy or not. Perfect example is for a child ‘s book with a high price of $873 which makes the current $29 price look like a great deal. I hope they fix this because it really would be a great app if the average price did not include the outliers in the average price calculation.

I use to use this app. Even got $10 back for Amazon. Since getting enough points for another gift card, they took my points and never sent me the gift card. Now, I have enough points again but the app won’t allow me to cash them in for a giftcard.

Vicci   1 year ago

I have sent multiple messages to customer service and even via feedback . No response what so ever . I redeemed my 1000 pts ., no idea how or if I will get the $10.00 Amazon gift card . Is this a scam ? If so I plan on reporting !

Carla Weinberg   1 year ago

I redeemed 1000 points more than a month ago and waited to receive the promised $10 Amazon gift card, as I had done in the past. This time, no gift card ever arrived. In the past, the card would be sent by email. I tried emailing the developer, sending feedback, utilizing the in-app Support option, all to no avail. No one responded to my inquiries. In the past, I would hear from Hernan Botbol but he did not respond to my emails about the gift card. Very disappointing.

App hasn’t worked for two days. Just keeps saying no connection. I tried to go through the website and it wouldn’t work, as well.

I’m having a problem with importing my latest Amazon saved for later items to my Pricepulse app. I have 115 items already saved to Pricepulse but I can’t get the rest of my 135 items to import.
