Would be 5 stars
I love my Gratitude App. I start every morning with my gratitudes and affirmations. Because it’s so convenient and easy, I am in a 140 day streak and still counting. I recommend it to all my friends, family, and clients frequently. My only negative is, they changed the journal background from black to white. I preferred the black. The white background is jarring to my eyes. I wish there was a setting where we could choose the background. It would be cool if you could choose a color or “texture.” I love that you can insert pics and choose the color for your gratitudes and that you can change the affirmation background to a pic. I do both all these options all the time. But when you’re in journal view, you’re stuck w the stark white background. Please create this option! 🙏🏻 Thank you for a great app!
Excellent App, so well thought out and simple
I have never written a review for an app, so that should provide insight into my feelings about this one. This app is perfectly simple. It’s clean, no ads, and just well thought out. I appreciate the changing quote each morning. I like that I can change the color palette depending on my mood or preference. I appreciate how it tracks my writing streak. It’s implicitly is what makes it a keeper. I believe less is more in just about every way and this app shines here. Just download it and start using it. You will notice over tune how your entries evolve because mindfulness and gratitude have a very real way of reframing our thoughts and perspectives.
Great app for tracking gratitude
I’ve been trying to find an app that is easy to use and has just the right features that doesn’t tease you with features and then ask you to pay for an upgrade to use the features. I’m grateful for this app as it gives me reminders during my busy days to stop and think about all the good. The quotes are nice to read each day. I like the ability to share with special people I’m grateful for. I also like that on rare occasions when life runs me over and I can go back and add for the previous day and it doesn’t mess up my streak! Thanks for having a wonderful free app that meets my needs.
Simple and to the point. Has great affirmations at the top. Let's you set three alarms a day if you like. The other gratitude apps I've tried were similar, but in order to use the majority of the features, you'd have to buy a monthly membership, which wasn't worth it to me, and you're constantly get popups asking you to upgrade. I would have paid a one time price for those apps, but paying every month was too much. As for this app, I'd buy it if it had a price, but it's free.
Loved it, until the update
This is a wonderful app! I loved it and used it every day. However, since the most recent update, you can only type new daily affirmations, rather than the app choosing one to display at the time of your reminder from a list you created. I loved the old system - it was such a nice way to start the day having the app show you a random affirmation of yours at a time you pre-specified. Typing daily affirmations can be great too, but I really miss the old option. Please allow people the choice to either have the system display one randomly from a list at the reminder time OR type a new one for the day.
Character limit??! Can no longer back date?
It isn’t always possible to journal on an actual day - why did you remove the option to backdate an entry? I now have multiple journal entries on the same day and not on the actual date an entry represents. Ridiculous choice to remove that feature. Too easy to find another app that will allow date changes. The journal also no longer allows you to type long entries. After several paragraphs the entry quits scrolling and you can’t see what you’re typing. I’ve had to “select all” move the entry to Notes, finish my entry then PASTE it back into to the journal. Why is this necessary?!?
Having just finished a partial hospitalization mental health program for anxiety and depression, gratitude was a suggested practice time and time again. When I left the program I looked for ways to continue my practices without the group environment, and I found this app. What a saving grace! The gentle reminders to be grateful are wonderful, the writing prompts are helpful to get started writing and I love opening the app to my own affirmations, that alone makes me smile and feel empowered! This simple practice makes me feel healthy and whole again in a way I wasn’t sure was possible. I highly recommend this app to any and all people, I have told my whole group about it! Thank you for developing such a great app! It’s easy to use, pleasant to look at and works flawlessly!
I absolutely love this app!!!
I absolutely love this app!!!! I love that I can change the colors of my entries, I love that I can set reminders to keep me on track, I love that I can secure my journal with a passcode or use face recognition and I love the daily positive quotes. I have used other gratitude apps before but this one is hands down the best!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you for and incredible place to keep all the things I’m grateful for!✨❤️✨
Love the app, a couple possible suggestions!
I really do love this app. And while I agree with the less is more theory, it would be nice to be to be able to access previous daily quotes because they're so good! And maybe some prompts for the journal- to help encourage those who are so down they have trouble thinking of things to write about, or to expand our concepts of things we can be greatful for that we maybe haven't thought about yet! Do love you guys though and I follow you on IG too!
I just downloaded this app and now I’m obsessed. It’s a great way to start your day or end your day. I have been journaling for about a week now and I feel so much better about myself and about my life. I used to always want everything but now I am grateful for what I have. There is no in app purchases which I love and it is super easy to use and has tons of great features. One of the best parts is that it sends you reminders and there is a quote for each day. Download this now to be happier, more gracious and change your life.
I appreciate the creator(s)
Correct me if I am wrong, but I feel like the creator wanted this to be free. It is excellent for tracking something every single person should focus on. It always bums me out when meditation, yoga, mindfulness apps charge you when it is something everyone should be allowed access to, as it is a betterment for humankind. I hope as man people as possible download this.
I stopped using this for 6 months and just started again today. Really, when you start to focus on the things to be grateful for in life, it’s much easier to get through the negative parts. I just read through some of my entries, I am nearly crying with joy at how fulfilled my life really is, even if some days it doesn’t feel like it 🥰
How can I justify more in my life if i am not grateful for what i have? How can i find what i am looking for if I don’t know what it is? How can i buy and sell solutions while marketing (complaining about) problems? I am grateful for this journal because it will become a daily part of my practice! My mysterious magnifying mind expands what I focus on. I choose to focus on and attract gratitude! Thank you!
Gratitude for Gratitude
This app is great. One thing that has helped me in my life is making gratitude lists, so I don’t usually journal on the topics that are suggested, but I make a 10 item gratitude list. What makes me love this app is that it saves them, so I can look back at how my lists have evolved and I can be reminded of things I may have forgotten. I’ll start just so easy to use.
This app is easy to use as a daily journal. I use it to write 3 gratitudes per day and to read affirmations when I’m feeling stressed or negative. The color scheme helps brighten my mood and the reminders are very helpful. A big bonus is the daily Zen quote. This is a very good app for getting started right away with a simple journaling practice and it is easy to keep up with.
