I purchased WChat and it simply doesn’t work as advertised. I could not do basic functions like listen to messages or see photos. I emailed the developer but no response.

Constantly “loading” on my watch. I think it’s only ever successfully worked on my watch (Series 4) once. I don’t know if it needs an update or something, but I’m really disappointed. My phone, watch, and WChat are all up to date and it still does not work. Anyone else having this issue? I literally want my money back.

I downloaded the most recent update and it does not work. Payed the $3 and WChat does not update the chats, does not receive notifications and it does not reply to messages either. Not worth downloading.

It does scan the barcode but it does not connect it keep asking you to scan the barcode again in again and it’s a paid app

If work for 2 days and after I paid for WChat it’s not working anymore. I deleted it and reinstalled again and nothing happens. WChat is in my phone but when I try to install WChat in my watch 5 I can’t. Please fix it!

Updated my iOS on my phone thinking that may be the problem. Even asked the guys at an Apple store. Click on it on my watch and it just goes back to the icon!

I did contact the developer in facebook. rebooted my phone. rebooted my watch. logout my apple ID because he told me it uses icloud storage. the next smart advise was asked me to switch my icloud ID. which is ridiculous. I shouldn’t work this hard to get a messenger apps to work. my time is way more important. this is simply bad programming. still waiting refund. i hope apple will do the right thing.

I just wanna know why I’m been charged 2.99 every week🤔it would be really nice if The Developer him self reach out🙏🏾

Need help. Downloaded the latest version this morning and it’s saying unable to sync.

Originally I could not get WChat to work but the developer has been very responsive. I can use WChat and it performs well. There are a few minor issues that are primarily cosmetic. I’m sure he’ll address them as well.

I think it’s better this apps can make phone calls like what’s up apps for free.

WChat works just like it’s supposed to. However, the previous version fixed the issues with audio messages not sending and the continuos random haptic feedback, as well as audio massages playback bugs.
Now this new update hasn’t been working “better”, but audios get sent when WChat feels like doing it, and the playback doesn’t not happening until touching “play” several times apart. 🧘‍♂️

Not sure what bugs were corrected with this latest version really.

Anyways, great app. Though I’m waiting for an update that fixes all this so that I can actually use it again.

Great app that I’d like to suggest a few improvements to make it easier to use.
(1) when opening chat, automatically scroll to bottom (or even better, most recent unread message) It’s weird that I don’t see the most recent message and I have to scroll every time to see it.
(2) remove label for sender / receiver in 1:1 chat, to make more room for the text messages.
(3) hide options / buttons until a user scrolls up from the landing page with all of your messages. This way you see as many messages as possible after opening WChat before scrolling.

All of these are details the normal messages app does, it would be great if they are in W-chat as well!

Out of all the apps I tried downloading, this is the only one that actually works.

Developer has been burning the midnight oil with update to get app back up and running. Happy to report v1.6.9 works great and the addition of its own keyboard adds languages I use that FlickType (also excellent app) does not support.

Hello, at the beginning of my purchase I had many problems but I sent a technical support message and they answered me as soon as I did not imagine it. Please, I recommend this application with the new update and it works excellent Thank you.

WChat do what it supposed to do, sometimes it crashes, but there are constant updates to fix any defects.
I strongly recommend it since there is no official WhatsApp application that support Apple Watch.
Looking forward for a major update which can emulate WhatsApp

I had a lot of trouble with WChat when I first downloaded it. I reached out to the developer about my problem. I have to admit that I really didn’t expect a response, but he has been in contact with me nonstop to make sure I was up and running. After the latest update, WChat works perfectly. Love it!

I’ve used WChat since version 1.5.6 (September 2019) without issued. In the beginning the load time was very lengthy, but little by little WChat has been getting some improvements. The issues that the developer has said the he has to fix (like the one mentioned going from version 1.6.8 to 1.6.9) was actually not an issue for me at all. Setup Instructions need to be followed in order to have WChat working properly.

Several things we need to taken into consideration are that:
• WChat works using the Apple Watch processor... we cannot expect the same response when we use WhatsApp via Web.
• It depends on the connectivity your iPhone has with you Internet and Bluetooth.

There are other Apps I have bought, but this one has been the best one for me.
