QuakeCon switched from Guidebook to this crap for 2018. Now I have to log in before I can see anything. Also, when I do get to the schedule, it crashes when I try to quickly scroll to the bottom.

I set up a user name and password months ago. I try to log in it says”so strange something went wrong.” I tired forgot password same error message. I tried signing up it gives me same error. I try to view as guest nothing loads.

As soon as a created an account the fan guru wouldn’t load. I downloaded FanGuru because I’m going to a Supernatural convention in Nov but I can’t even get into FanGuru because I wouldn’t load in. I tried uninstalling FanGuru and reinstalling it as well as pressing the little check mark looking thing about the “You’re all set welcome to fan guru” but I wouldn’t work. Nothing worked for me.

It crashes a lot and also gets stuck in a loading screen. Kind of upsetting cause I need it for my conventions schedule.

There was something charming about Cosmunity, despite it being a bit difficult to navigate & get everything I wanted out of it. Now it seems like the same company was forced to launch early in order to have their new brand promoted for a convention. My old Cosmunity posts are gone. There is no way to check in on communities or posts/photos from other users. There is no search bar to find future events in your area. There is a surprising lack of buttons that can take you anywhere interesting. I keep clicking on the same 3 tabs hoping one will magically unlock the secret to FanGuru. Unless they are The official app for your upcoming convention I don’t see any benefit with Fan Guru right now.

In downloaded FanGuru for the Boston Fan Expo, so I can keep track of the events and signings that interest me. Unfortunately, I get notifications about every little this at the Expo, and the settings are not granular enough.

In my iphone i enlarged the font size by 1 so i can read it and doing so the text in eqch block gets cut off and have to click each one to see what room that event is in. Ugh.

I used FanGuru at this year's MegaCon Orlando event and at first it was so great. It was nice to have the ability for an offline map and schedule (because we all know how bad the connection can get) and even used it to purchase nearly last minute tickets got the BTTF Friday panel.

Come Saturday, however, and FanGuru fell apart. That offline map and schedule I thought was so great? Didn't work. Worse yet, FanGuru did nothing but crash. So the one function I was most excited about didn't work when I actually needed it, because the previous two days had no connection issues like Saturday always does.

So I'll give it 3 stars and say it's great when it works and I appreciate it better than Megacon's precious apps. But it needs work and I would still recommend using a backup for your schedule and con floor navigation.

I like FanGuru , but I find that when trying to read a thread of comments, it cuts off what people write past the first line, and there isn’t a way to read the full comment

Very handy. Would be perfect if it would add my events to my calendar or give me a pop up reminder of events.

It's still pretty hard to Navigate through FanGuru unless you're really used to working with it. Also, not being able to DM someone w/o them following you is a bit of a pain. And the no notifications either on lock screen or on on app itself is hard to keep track of some important correspondence.

The new iPhone update won’t let me repurchase it. I would like to use it again but am unable to. Please fix this!

Me and my family went to QCAC which was really fun! FanGuru helped us get to everything we wanted and needed to go to!! Thank you!

omg i love FanGuru! i went to stranger con this past weekend and i used FanGuru to help with my schedule and it was the most helpful thing ever!! it let me know 30 mins in advice before the next event started to prepare me!!! love it!! would definitely use again:)))
