I’ve been doing some research on AR fashion apps, and I’ve found that there are very few virtual fitting room applications like this on the market. Considering how new AR technology is, and how difficult it probably is to accurately project entire outfits onto a real-life photo, FormaCloset has honestly blown me away! I’m surprised it’s not more well-known!

PROS:
- Garments auto-fit well on any body type.
- Projected items will wrap to your body’s positioning + occluding objects (example: if your hands are in the way, it won’t cover them).
- You can use a fully-clothed pic of yourself, and still try on tank tops/shorts—FormaCloset will auto-cover the rest of your body with your skin-tone.
- Wide selection of nice clothes to try on.
- At least 90% of the clothes I’ve tried on appear realistic.
- You can search for & save wardrobe items you already own—meaning you can see how new items will look w/ your own clothes.

CONS:
- Can’t see how different sizes of a particular item might fit/drape on your body.
- Doesn’t let you directly shop for the items—(i.e. if I wanted to buy a top I tried on, I’d have to jump off FormaCloset and manually google-search it)
- Clothed are only projected onto a still photo, it’s not real-time video AR (Honestly this is a minor con in my opinion, bc the AR is still really well done!)

Never try on an outfit again! We all go through the hassle of deciding what clothes we think would be a good fit for our style. Often this involves the hassle of bringing too many items to handle into a dressing room, and then fumbling around for far too long to try on everything. Well look no farther, Forma provides a virtual dressing room for all your outfit aspirations, while offering fantastic suggestions in a Pinterest style outlay. Definitely worth trying on!

I have been a big fan of this platform for some time now. It’s both fun and functional, especially during the pandemic when people are less comfortable going to stores and trying on clothes. I really like the new features added to the last update, including the ability to customize and follow studios!

I love FormaCloset at first it was fun! But once I started uploading my STRAIGHT FOWARD picture it couldn’t recognize the body because it “was facing foward” I tried it after with a different picture of me TURNED TO THE SIDE and it caught it instead. I tried to retake my other picture and once again for the 13th time it didn’t work, idk if it’s denying the me as a person but yeah no matter what lighting or background it won’t take my picture straight foward, I loved FormaCloset but tbh I’m looking for a better one.

I am not sure its a bug or i am not able to identify how to use my photo .
I have uploaded one image but when i click on the smiley after i have selected a Dress to see how the dress in looking on my face it shows one button “photoes of people” or “return”and its not showing my photo with the dress.

Honestly didn’t think it would work this well but it surprised me. Just make sure you have good lighting and it should work perfectly.

This is like something out of Zenon: Girl of the 21st Century! No more trips to the mall needed. No more wasting 4 hours trying on clothes only to find out that nothing looks good on you. FormaCloset is ahead of its time!

Awesome app. Can not wait to see how it grows and expands. Augmented Reality is the future and being able to see what clothes looks like will save me a lot of time and I won’t have to go to the store.

FormaCloset is actually pretty cool. Could see this becoming a fun, easy way to shop for new clothes and discover new brands. I’ve never been a fan of shopping IRL or trying on clothes.

This is actually pretty interesting. Super impressive tech and can see this being an exciting way to shop and interact with brands. Looking forward to see how FormaCloset progresses. Love it!

It’s a great concept but, FormaCloset is very glitchy. I wonder why I am not able to upload images from my personal camera roll? At least that’s why it use to do when I first download FormaCloset .

FormaCloset is amazing only thing is when u take a picture sometimes my arm like gets to big or small

Great app to explore new clothing styles your not sure about. Easy to use and they seem to be adding new features and designs regularly. 2 thumbs up!

Have never seen anything like this. You can swap on different clothes just by taking one photo of yourself. The future is coming!

I love how easy FormaCloset is to use. And fun. I wanted to see how Charlie Chaplin would look in modern clothes. He looks so cool. I’d love to see more men’s styles, and kids. Great ap, thanks!

I love the idea of FormaCloset and I was really excited about since it reminded me of what Cher from Clueless had, but there are definitely some things that need improving.

1. I really like the selection of clothes and designers, but search terms are off and cute items are hard to find.

2. Many buttons do not work such as the “create look” button, so I can’t make any looks.

3. The body type options are very limited, though the clothes fit well on them.

Forma is so cool! Allows you to try on a bunch of different looks with a touch of a button. Think Warby Parker glasses try-on but for clothes 🙌

You guys are scam I am really disappointed 😔 the clothes didn’t even fit well lyk real clothes if do a update or else no recommendation to my friends I just wasted my date

DISCLAIMER: I DON’T HAVE A PROBLEM WITH PEOPLE OVERWEIGHT
So when I took the photo and I picked a outfit for it to try on it made it look as if I were plus size and I was not in the plus size section idk if they have one of those but all I know is that y’all did not fix your bugs like it says you did 2days ago!

It looks cool but when I download it closing on the manikin picture was a glitch
And it’s really hard to figure out things nothing makes sense and if you want to train your favorite clothing it’s always glitchy you have to use their clothing I honestly don’t like

I’m so happy with FormaCloset. Honestly, I feel like I didn’t know how to dress myself or have a sense of style until now! Thanks!

This is so cool. By taking a picture from a random pose and one image from theory website, I can wear that clothes. Great job!
