LiveDV and the way it configures the devices together is horrible. Doesn’t give any adjustment for the camera, like contrast, brightness and so on. The download time for content is horrible then when I did download videos I can’t even find them 🤷🏾‍♂️. What a piece of crap

App does not work . Loading screen just keep spinning. Video quality is horrible. Remind me of the camera on cheap flip phones years ago

If you can connect, which you may or may not be able to do, LiveDV doesn’t hold the connection. You have to reconnect every few minutes. I am returning the camera I bought just because of LiveDV sucking. (COOAU CU-SPC06) When I buy a new action camera, I will start with looking at LiveDV they use. There are a few that get good reviews, but a lot of them don’t work. Seems like many of the inexpensive camera are the same with different names. Most use different wi fi apps.

I can access recorded video and pics but cannot preview what the camera is seeing or start/stop recording with my iPhone (IOS 11.4.1). This is not the ideal situation for an action camera, where you don’t have the time to record then check the recording to make sure you’re getting the shots needed! I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling LiveDV with no improvement. Also, the settings reset every time I turn on the camera, along with the date/time. I have not found another app that is compatible with my apexcam 4K eis WiFi...

Loads forever when I try to connect it though LiveDV . And it just doesn’t connect. And that was the main reason on why I bought it.

The camera that I have will record in 4K or 1080 but on my cell phone it will not show when I turn my cell phone sideways in wide screen. Therefore it makes using the cell phone almost useless.

Choppy preview and it will take days to transfer a video to you phone from the camera at 20k/s. You still have to turn off cellular data to get the apeman a79 to connect. GoPros are expensive cause their software isn’t garbage.

LiveDV worked once but now it keeps crashing every time I try to connect. I have tried uninstalling then re installing and that did not help.
This completely defeats the purpose I bought this camera I am very disappointed. Please please please fix your app so it is at the very least, functional.

I’ve owned this camera for less than 7hours and have been attempting to connect to LiveDV the entire time. Times out every single attempt. Waste of complete time

LiveDV would crash trying to connect to the Apeman 4K camera. Tried looking for a solution and found one: try turning off cell data before connecting to the camera via WiFi. If the cell data is on, it'll "confuse" the connection.

As for LiveDV , it's basic and there could be more help documents so I wouldn't have to search the ends of the internet to try and find a solution to what I gather is a common problem

I got my camera connected to LiveDV but i am unable to see the videos that I take. I download them and they get to 100% and stay there and if I click on them again then it gives me the same options to save or delete.

I had similar problem with wifi connection. I could connect on my ipad, but not on my android phone. The trick is with how your device reacts to the wifi, android does not want to stay connected to the wifi without internet - you need to tell it to stay connected. Now it works on both of my devices.

It’s pretty good you can change quality brightness but it updates every few seconds and is a bit laggy other then that it’s good btw to use it you have to type WiFi password and name

“Error” message appears and will not connect over WiFi
*Updated: Turn off Cellular Data, keep WiFi on and WIFI Will connect to device through APP.

It’s not super pretty, but it gets the job done.
I’m under the assumption that there are quite a few different branded cameras that work with LiveDV.
So if you have issues with it, update the firmware of your camera.
iPhone 7 and it works fine.
I’m able to watch the camera on my screen, and most importantly, backup footage to my phone on the fly.

App connects quickly to IOS 12.1.4 IPhone 8 WIFI and works as described. Just need to turn off cellular data before all features work. Using COOVU 4K action cam.

LiveDV isn’t very fancy with many features but it works and gets the job done for getting the live video and for downloading videos.

I’ve used LiveDV for years I I have had no problems connecting it to my camera and recording and saving videos, the only problem I have is when I move the SD card and put it back in it deletes all my photos and videos
