Unable to preview

I can access recorded video and pics but cannot preview what the camera is seeing or start/stop recording with my iPhone (IOS 11.4.1). This is not the ideal situation for an action camera, where you don’t have the time to record then check the recording to make sure you’re getting the shots needed! I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app with no improvement. Also, the settings reset every time I turn on the camera, along with the date/time. I have not found another app that is compatible with my apexcam 4K eis WiFi...
Horrible App

If you can connect, which you may or may not be able to do, the app doesn’t hold the connection. You have to reconnect every few minutes. I am returning the camera I bought just because of this app sucking. (COOAU CU-SPC06) When I buy a new action camera, I will start with looking at the app they use. There are a few that get good reviews, but a lot of them don’t work. Seems like many of the inexpensive camera are the same with different names. Most use different wi fi apps.

The app worked once but now it keeps crashing every time I try to connect. I have tried uninstalling then re installing and that did not help.
This completely defeats the purpose I bought this camera I am very disappointed. Please please please fix your app so it is at the very least, functional.
