Eats battery for lunch. I could swear this app didn’t always do this, and generally I like the app, but after installing the latest version my battery ran out really quickly. I found this app was basically running in the background all day. It was my #1 battery user even though I used it maybe twice a day.
Additionally, twice now updating iOS has left the app in a state where it crashes on launch. Reinstalling the app fixes it.
I liked this app, but I’ve deleted it for good over the battery issue.

I am just an ordinary person, not a scientist, but I do have an interest in the tides. We live by the water and it’s cool to see when there’s a high-high or a low-low. It would be awesome to view this info in a chart like someone else suggested, because in the summer especially we love to go out into the Puget sound at a low-low because you can go really far out at Alki in Seattle. Makes for a fun family day. But I need the chart so I can view this info ahead of time to plan better. Would be great to also have with the sunrise/sunset.
Since we are watching the moon and it’s phases, an additional cool feature would be to show which stars/planets we would see on a particular night. There are many other stars apps to use tho. I really am interested in which planets I will see in the sky especially when they are close together (like recently there was Jupiter, Saturn, mars! All within the night sky, big and bright.
Thanks NOAA for amazing info tho on all of your sights/apps. My brother showed me MyRadar (he is a pilot and uses this info). I love the different layers on it.

Good app but this needs charts that tell you sunrise sunset times low tide, high tide times with Heights daily for the week and several weeks even! This app is designed well but it’s missing this key chart information. The only way to view it is to scroll through and observe their interactive graph but that’s way too time intensive and unfeasible. They just need one page I can scroll down and view several days of information in a chart at least two weeks ahead. I’m having to use another app to do this :-( also their feedback func doesn’t work because I don’t use the email app on my phone. Should work with Gmail.
