Disregarding the fact that this whole Kickstarter has been a total nightmare, I could still be ok with this product and app if it offered some sort of useful functionality. The only real function of this would be to use in my kid's room, bit I can't use it to put her to sleep because Aromarest has to stay open for this to work. I would have thought that with five years of prep that this team could have figured it out.

I get to be “lulled to sleep” by the pleasant smells and color changes of the lamp, but my phone and its display (re: bright light) has to stay on for it to work? Kinda defeats the purpose...

That the lamp hardware doesn’t have the smarts to know the time and when it should alarm makes it a terrible *alarm clock*. Seemingly terrible product design.

App is pretty though.

Horrible company. They totally abandoned their customers. No support at all. Not updates. My lamp is nothing more than a paper weight.

Aromarest is trash. The quality of the led is trash. The aesthetics of the actual lamp or horrific. The whole thing is a complete failure.

You can not pair 2 of these lamps together

Useless at night because I have to leave Aromarest open on my phone all night to work. Often I like to set my alarm and then read for ten minutes, with Aromarest I can't. I can't switch apps or put the phone to sleep without the aroma and sound stopping. I've hardly used it because of this.

After the longer journey of following this project from Kickstarter I’m excited to have the final product.

In regards to Aromarest :
I don’t like that once I hit sleep my phone screen stays on, understandably Aromarest has to stay open to work but I’ve used previous apps that don’t shut of the screen off and it usually over heats the phone.

I also noticed Aromarest crashes if you delete all of your sleep history’s. Deleting the last one always resulted in a crash.

Other than that I’ve liked all the other features and I’m excited to finally have it!

I love Aromarest! I have never liked jarring awake to an alarm. It is the worst way to wake up. Aromarest changes the game. No longer am I jerked awake. Now I am am lulled awake. I love that this alarm gently wakes you up. It starts out quiet and slowly gets a little louder and a little louder! You get to customize it just how you want it.

The sleep cycle is just as amazing. If you want to have a better sleep experience get Aromarest. Thank You this app!

I love falling asleep with the lavender scent. I am a notoriously bad sleeper, but with the this app I fall asleep faster and I I sleep more deeply. I am really starting to incorporate the system into my bedtime routine, and it’s making a big difference. I also like how bright it is. I actually replaced my bedside lamp with it, and I use it for just the lights (and the mood lighting) often.

I have close to a dozen sleep apps on my phone and Aromarest is quite a bit different than the others. It has three cycles. One that covers falling asleep, one for sleeping, and one for gradually waking.

Cons:
- Like all the other sleep apps, Aromarest must stay open to work (although it does have a cool notification to warn you when leaving Aromarest )

Pros:
- The wake up time super big and easy to set.
- Unlike other alarms this one has the sound start barely audible and the ramps up till you’re awake.
- If pared with the this app lamp it incorporates a gradual sunrise and your choice of sent.
