Valvoline Instant Oil Change Reviews

What is the point of having ValvolineInstantOilChange if the location that is closest to you always says call the store instead of giving you the estimated wait time for service? My understanding of ValvolineInstantOilChange is it was designed to show you exactly that. Yet every single time I log into it the store nearest to me says I need to call them to get the wait time. And it’s not just the store closest to me that says that. I do not know if that is an issue with ValvolineInstantOilChange or if the Newport Kentucky location isn’t doing something on their end so that it shows in ValvolineInstantOilChange . Either way something I feel needs to be addressed otherwise there is absolutely no point in ValvolineInstantOilChange.

I try my best to keep my information secure. However, upon registering for ValvolineInstantOilChange — I have been met with a hoard of spam/scam emails. This is the only app I registered my email address for in the last couple of weeks. So if it walks like a duck, talks like a duck, and looks like a duck, it’s a probably a duck. I would encourage users to use throwaway email addresses when registering for ValvolineInstantOilChange. One additional star as ValvolineInstantOilChange itself is not bad. Minus three stars for blatantly selling my information to unverified third party services.

The service here is friendly and seems OK. However, sometimes I like to do the work myself. Today, when I crawled under the vehicle, I could not get the drain plug out. I worked for over an hour with a socket wrench; I rounded the plug hex. Then I hammered a smaller socket on and used a bigger wrench with a cheater. All I did was wreck the plug. This is the second time this is happened at this facility on route 31 in Liverpool New York; the last time, they told me they had a special tool to take a damage plug out.
I would not be writing this, except that this is the second time for this same facility. I will be speaking with the manager today. Oh, by the way:I did confirm that my last oil change was also at this facility. Not me.

I’m only giving ValvolineInstantOilChange 3 stars because I was under the impression that I could see my oil change history here. It’s nice to see what locations are close to me, but that’s what a map is for! If I could see my history, make changes to my account, maybe get an alert for my next change, then I’d maybe (maybe) give ValvolineInstantOilChange 5 stars. What a waste to download imo. Uninstalled. And why is everyone giving reviews on Valvoline? This is an app review; not business review. 🤨

ValvolineInstantOilChange doesn’t provide me with anything I can’t get from going straight to the website or doing a basic google search. The only things available in ValvolineInstantOilChange are a store locator, service guide, and coupons. I was excited to download ValvolineInstantOilChange hoping I would be able to link it to previous service records or at minimum being able to save service records going forward. I was hoping it would add to the overall customer experience but with its limited offerings I don’t want to waste the space on my phone.

Service team works well together. I told them I wanted to come snide bc I needed to pull up Groupon and didn’t want to slow them down. They said pull in the garage and the. Get your Groupon. I insisted no work until we agreed on the price with coupon. And that’s what we did. It was 15 minutes tops. Friendly, respectful, excellent time work for this crew. B

I came in with 2 cars today. excellent service both times. My dealership offered me an appt in 2 weeks. Valvoline did the job in 15 minutes

First time visit exceeded my expectations. I have changed my own oil for 30 years, primarily because I just don’t trust anyone with oil changes. I use full synthetic oil, and I have control issues...I gotta know what’s going into my car and that it’s done right. But I’m too old to be crawling under cars, so I had to make a change. This place lets you watch the whole job, they yell out everything they are doing (even confirming what type of oil you asked for when reaching for the clearly-labeled oil gun), they show you the dipstick after they’re done, and they have you start the car and rev it for 10 seconds to check that everything is tight. Prices are on par with a dealer (slightly less than Lexus, though), but for me the peace of mind that comes with this level of service is worth it.

I love going to Valvoline and getting my oil change in 15 minutes. I have been going to Valvoline and getting services from them every since 2017 when I purchased my car and haven’t had any car problems nor Customer Service problems either. I would recommend anyone to go and get service from one of the Valvoline center. 😊

Sometimes apps go overboard with so many features that it takes away their functionality. Not this one. It is very simple and has everything I need. A map of nearest service centers (with wait time), available deals, and my vehicle information. I, personally, don’t need anything else. Good job!

Didn’t kn what to expect first time their. Having to stay in ur car & all. We(hubby & I)was very impressed. As ur waiting to pull in, they check headlights etc working (w driver help of course)& back to. Every one was very nice & polite & funny. Lady taking our inf was able to turn computer show us what was going on and options. LOVED the pl, I’ll take my car there tomorrow, I also agree w customer statement before mine

It was my first time my daughter took her car also.
OMG I was impressed they told me exactly what I needed and didn’t how long the service would last on each thing I did. Went for an oil change I also needed my tires rotated and I purchased a cabin filter. These young me were efficient , very pleasant I will return.
That’s the kind of service everyone deserves.

I was impressed at how accurate ValvolineInstantOilChange really is. I got to the store pulled right in. App said wait time was 0. Then another car pulled in. After both of us had taken our seat I said let’s check ValvolineInstantOilChange . It now showed wait time 15 minutes. I would say that pretty impressive. This location. Is the only place I will go for my routine maintenance. Quick fast HONEST and professional. Excellent job fellows. As Arnold says. I’ll be back.

I love love valvoline oil company. The people are so friendly and are always giving you great prices with coupons and quality service.
I love that ValvolineInstantOilChange helps you get great deals and will show you the nearest locations.
Lastly my favorite is that you never have to get out of the car when their doing maintenance like other places.

Make this your cars second home

Everything about Valvoline is top-notch. About five years ago, I always went to Walmart for price savings. I was in a rush with three kids, and I loved the idea I did not have to get out of the car. I was concerned about the price, but the manager said he would price-match Walmart. That day I got my oil changed in under ten minutes. I brought my second vehicle back up by switching the kids over. I had both cars done within 30 minutes. I lived two minutes away! I was so impressed with the customer service and how easy and efficient it was I have never gone back to Walmart. Well worth the price. I have been a lifetime customer from that day on.

I went to Valvoline for an oil change and an inspection. This was done in less than an hour. Amazing. They checked everything and informed about what I needed and didn’t. They also checked all my fluids. No one else does that. There are 2 managers on duty and they both came over and thanked me and spoke with me while the car was being serviced. Awesome service. The location was Cicero, NY. Thanks to everyone that was there.

As someone like myself who runs a business, this business is headed towards the right direction. The employees are well informed and have the correct tools for the job. While they provide a speedy service, they give you a peace of mind. You have a visual and audible confirmation of them doing the work. Before you know it, your oil is changed and your ready to go. Definitely give the McMinnville branch in OR a try if you happen to be around the area.

The assistant manager was fantastic of the cda area . He is 23 years old but the guy knows everything there is to know about cars . Very helpful, his assistant was also very kind and they never push anything on me which is so very nice as well they just simply ask if I’m interested explain it and then it is what it is . I’ve been coming to this place when it was oil can Henry’s and it has just gotten better and better with each visit . I will only do business here for oil and fluid changes

ValvolineInstantOilChange interface is easy and user friendly - haven’t had an issue in regular use in over a year.
Company wise, one of the best around. Even for “big box”
Service techs at every location I’ve been at (which is a lot. I average 35-40k miles a year) have always been knowledgeable, kind, and quick. Prices are as they should be, no up charging techniques by techs and all my questions are answered about the current service and if / what I need to prepare for the next.
As a busy mom, a student … again, and running two businesses - thankful for this place and convenience it affords me of one little thing I know is already “taken care of” even when it’s not 😂
But really - app serves its purpose and works well!
Only thing I’d request from developers (since I’m a geek) is a way to see my own service history within ValvolineInstantOilChange at my finger tips and maybe a service list / educational infographics of maintenance schedules

ValvolineInstantOilChange is incredibly useful and easy to use. Valvoline is perfect for people who are always on the go and my not have a schedule that’s easy to make opponents that could take a while. They are fast, friendly, knowledgeable and incredibly convenient. I’ve been to five different locations in Minnesota and have always been pleased with the result. If there’s ever a line I know I can look up what location is nearby that might be faster with ValvolineInstantOilChange . ValvolineInstantOilChange also gives you access to the latest and greatest coupons that apply to you. ValvolineInstantOilChange 10/10 does exactly what it should do and the people who drive the business are fantastic too.

Never had I experienced business like this So quick, calm, and relaxed with everything. They work together excellent teamwork. They even tell you what needs to be changed sooner or later. They’re very professional and talks with you in a professional way. I would recommend others to come here as well! Keep up the excellent work!
