Police Scanner X Reviews

I downloaded seeing only the overall 4+ star rating. Then it wouldn't load any stations. It kept saying loading and nothing happened. I downloaded a different app and ran into a little snag having to actually GO INTO my settings to turn on locations (many apps have a little pop-up so you can change your setting within the new app). I thought perhaps this was my problem with PoliceScannerX. I can find NO settings icon anywhere in PoliceScannerX itself. I tried to allow it in my privacy settings but it is not appearing in the list as an app requesting permission. Therefore, no stations load.

The last update to PoliceScannerX was a year ago. We all know iOS has had some pretty big changes since then. I believe PoliceScannerX is no longer being supported by its developer. : (

Since using PoliceScannerX I have been able to sleep. I used to have the tv on when I would go to sleep but now I don’t have to have it on. It just has enough chatter to feel like someone is there in the house. Very calming. It is also an advantage to hear what is going on locally. A win, win situation.

Other than a commercial to check out a game, there’s no other hoops to jump through. Simple to use!

Installed on iPad and when I clicked on the icon it just continued to show little bubbles going in a circular loading. This went on often plus minutes. Running 5g network which load quick. But this didn’t seem to load. Would have given it a far shake if it would have loaded.

I decided to try this police scanner. Since downloading it weeks or months ago, it won’t open but keeps buffering. After numerous attempts to get it to open, I decided to delete it completely.

This has has minor bug fixes. Perhaps they should consider tackling major bug fixes.
My complaint is the same as everyone else, it spends more time trying to get loaded than I do!

Waited 5 minutes for something, anything to load which is 4 minute and 58 seconds too long. Nothing ever loaded. Save your time and go with another, well known app.

Downloaded and when opened app said “loading”. The old spinner forever. Internet connection and WiFi were fine. (obviously app download worked)

I was delayed for a crash and it was discribing the car and license plate and it was a perfect match👍👍👍👍👍🏿

Stations never load. Been 10 minutes. I already opened and closed PoliceScannerX . I got tired of waiting. Deleting!

My complaint is the same as others...won’t load!

PoliceScannerX will not load . Just spins and states it loading. Deleted app twice and redownloaded plus rebooted phone. No success. Even worse is the link to PoliceScannerX developer support page crashes.

While you choose a department to listen to a ad will cover the entire screen not allowing you to X out of it so you do anything unless you exit PoliceScannerX

Just gets stuck forever on a loading screen.

“Loading ...” for 5 straight minutes after downloading. Deleted app.

Downloaded PoliceScannerX and the stations don’t even load. Don’t waste your time. If I could I would give this NO stars at all!

Worked for months now won't load stations/feeds. Needs a sleep timer also.
