MusicTGA doesn't work it says that it works only for users with invitation code.

I tried creating a account wouldn’t even let me do that...

I have an account with Amadeus code. I want to like this, because the idea is interesting - royalty free loops and etc generated allegorically.

Unfortunately the web app only gives part of the experience, and I cannot log in to the iOS app using credentials that work on the website. Further, pressing the “sign in with Google” button crashes MusicTGA . This simply isn’t release-ready.

App won’t Play, won’t load, and is unresponsive. Not sure how this was allowed into the store in its current state. Avoid for now. Oh well 🧐

Interesting for about 5 mins then it becomes so repetitive and derivative as to become annoying. Even with the sliders available to “customize” your tune it’s a toy at best. Not to mention it hangs constantly. Then on top of that it continues to ask for a reload of $1.99. Seriously?

If you’ve never heard a good song you might believe Amadeus is writing great tunes. Amadeus seems to think so. But the AI is one lousy songwriter. I mean: really, really awful. Using the DNA from a library of great tunes, Amadeus creates cheap knockoffs. The chords are okay sometimes. The melodies, on the other hand, are mostly tuneless warbles, frequently disconnected from the backing chords and, on every occasion, falling somewhere between confused and unlistenable. The export options are good but, seriously, why anyone would want to use the ideas Amadeus generates is beyond me. If you have absolutely no musical talent, Amadeus is not the solution unless the problem you’re solving is there’s not enough bad music in the world. And if you have the talent, Amadeus will leave you scratching your head wondering what all the fuss over Artificial Intelligence is about.

What it pisses me off is that it uses original chord progressions from existing songs. The melodies that it generates are pathetic.

All the sounds and expression of a $20 Casio keyboard from 1987 without a hint of irony. A baby could write better songs.

Tried and every piece sounded as unexciting as the next. If these examples provided are an indication of this apps abilities, we as musicians and composers still have nothing to worry about.
Each example Sounded like the worst of Japanese pop music from the 90’s.
If making generic sounding and uninspiring music is your thing this is MusicTGA for you.
Otherwise learn how to make music inspired from your own brain with the help of other better thought out apps.

So it requires you to have an account to use MusicTGA . But only if you can connect with a google or Facebook account. So that was a non-starter.

You must send an email and cross your fingers. Not worth the risk. We are likely a ways off from what you are looking for anyways.

App only had a log in / sign up screen but after that, it doesn’t open and just instantly auto-closes if I try to tap on MusicTGA to open it. No idea if it would’ve been a good or bad app ‘cause it just doesn’t even open.

This is not a music tool. This is a toy music box that is poorly executed with generic midi instrument sounds. There is no chord or key information, no transposing, no editing or viewing midi data from within MusicTGA . If you want an actual music tool you’d be better off trying something like Autochords, Arpeggionome, or Figure. I would waste my time on this one as there are far better music apps on iOS.

I thought MusicTGA could generate some good sounds, but after plenty of listens I have given up hope. The melodies are soul-less; you can’t even call them pathetic or sad, because that would be proscribing an emotion onto the faceless banality of the algorithm. It’s creations are truly the absence of any emotion or feeling—vacuous and empty— and even that may be giving Amadeus too much credit.

If anything, MusicTGA reveals how far we are from having AI assist songwriters in the creation of their work.

I click “Create an account”, fill in my name, email, and password. I press the continue button, and nothing happens other than the button moves behind the “connect Facebook” and “connect google” buttons. Did it create an account for me??

I click the back arrow, and then the Log in button. I enter my email and password, and then the continue button. Nothing happens!

I do NOT want to log in via Facebook or google. Waste of time.

This is an awful app. If the dollar tree could produce beats they’d be better than this. It’s a corny app that presents this revolutionary guise that falls so short. It’s not even fun to mess around with. I was trying to figure out how to cancel my free trial right away to be certain I wouldn’t end up paying for this, and ITS 120 DOLLARS. You can buy Ableton lite for that amount of money! Don’t even waste you’re time downloading and running the risk of dropping 120 bucks because they make that a little too easy to happen.

MusicTGA works fine. The log in screen is bugged as many others have claimed, but logging in with Google works for me fine enough. Weirdly a Japanese error text popped up when I signed in. However, I do have the about the MIDI and MP3 downloads not working. Same thing with the link creator, but that crashes MusicTGA completely. I find the melodies to be a pretty good base for better songs, but the fact that I can’t use a feature that gives me the music to build on it further is really sad. :(
