It seems after connecting with usb and shows connected to car and still asking to connect usb to phone to car and is not opening Alexa Lincoln app in the car to play
So there is bug or not and need to get fixed

LincolnAlexa will drain your battery to zero in half a day. Check battery activity and LincolnAlexa runs over 80% compared to all other apps in the low single digits. Worse is that LincolnAlexa has little practical use. Can’t work with Apple CarPlay. Anything it claims to do can be done without installing LincolnAlexa. A big zero for this mess.

The biggest issue I have with LincolnAlexa is that you must disable Apple Car Play in order to use LincolnAlexa. Why couldn’t LincolnAlexa be written to run on top of Apple car play as one of its available apps? Other major problem is that you must change the source in Sync3 to Alexa, otherwise Alexa won’t hear responses.
I am a Lincoln MKX 2016 user running Sync3 with Apple Car Play. Lincoln has done a great job in making Car Play an option for me in my 2016, but to be forced to disable Car Play and LincolnAlexa only available on one Sync3 source is not a great design that will entice usage.
Version 1.0.4 crashes completely on every launch (2017 Navigator; Sync 2.2; iOS 11.2.6). Other Lincoln owners report the same. I’m not as much upset as deeply disappointed. 😞
UPDATE: Finally got LincolnAlexa to run after an uninstall, phone restart, reinstall, register and sync. That’s not rocket science to accomplish, but time and patience consuming - and should not have been necessary.
LincolnAlexa has a bug. For some reason when you start navigation it turns the radio on and you can’t turn the the radio off with the power button. You have to disconnect your phone or turn the car off.
If you use CarPlay, not worth it. Sync3 requires you to disable CarPlay to use it. Good concept, poor execution.
Update 1.0.13 fixed the Amazon Music metadata for a few weeks, but now it’s broken again. Can you please fix this and keep it fixed? The Android App works fine.
Please update! iPhone version 13.3 does not seem to be compatible with LincolnAlexa.
