OZFX crashes upon opening it every single time. Haven’t been able to use OZFX at all, not one time. Wouldn’t have gotten two Ozeri fans if I knew OZFX they advertise in the main image was inoperable. Definitely false advertising since the other reviews put them on notice a LONG time ago.

OZFX hasn’t been updated in years and he’s basically been abandoned by the company it would seem. Not only has it not been updated to fit the iPhone X design as of iOS 14 it no longer works and keeps crashing. It’s pretty much useless at this point. This fan was made to have Bluetooth capabilities but with an app that no longer works it’s basically false advertising now. A fix is need ASAP!!

I’m use OZFX on my phone for the fan in our room. However, after the new update this week, every time I would open OZFX it would shut down on me. I was really hoping that this would have been updated to go with iOS 14 but it doesn’t. Leaving a one star review and a deleting.

I just got the fan delivered today and install the application. When it goes to search for Bluetooth devices OZFX immediately shuts down. My Bluetooth is on and searchable. Someone else posted the same issue when they upgraded their iOS to 14.

Hopefully you guys are monitoring these issues! When do you think you’ll have a fix for iOS 14?!

Worked fine before the iOS14 update. Now OZFX closes immediately after launching it making it useless. Would be nice if it can get an update while this issue gets fixed. I don’t like that you have to identify the fan each time you use it. It should do this automatically and if possible have its own widget.

I updated my phone last night to the iOS 14 and OZFX crashes I’ve deleted it and re-downloaded it and it still crashes! Now I’m unable to use my fan unless I use the remote which I’m disabled and have hand problems so please fix this ASAP! I have emailed them and they haven’t responded.

The Bluetooth started working again on my iPad a little weird but working not working on my iPhone until I deleted OZFX and reinstalled it in my iPhone now working

It was perfect I love it but now that I updated my phone it can’t connect to the Bluetooth which is sad because that’s one of the main reasons I bought it. Please fix it!!!

Ok, I think an app is a great idea and enjoy the functionality. And I’m giving it 4 stars because this might be a small, albeit annoying, gripe.

BUT, OZFX needs to be easier for two people to use more closely in time to connect to the same fan, be able to connect to the fan in general settings on your phone, OR have a dim button on the fan or remote, not just on OZFX .

What I mean is: my boyfriend goes to sleep much earlier than me. He will sometimes use OZFX to set the fan how he likes it before going to sleep and then uses the dim function (how we both like it because the lights on the face are very bright). Then, when I come to bed a couple hours later and want to adjust the fan’s speed, etc. because he turns it up so high to fall asleep, I cannot connect to the same fan in OZFX because it’s still, I guess, connected to his phone by bluetooth and I cannot shift it to mine.

So, you might say, just use the remote or buttons on the fan. The problem is, once you adjust the speed, etc. using the remote or buttons you cannot dim the lights again! You can only dim it with OZFX which I cannot connect to! So I either just deal with the fan how my boyfriend set it or I adjust it and just have to throw a piece of clothing over it to block the fan lights because they are so bright.

Super easy use. Bought this for my elderly parents. They love it and aren’t very “technical” so I would really recommend this for elderly people that are less mobile. We liked it so much we ended up buying several more for our house and boat. 👍

I see way too many 1 stars for an app that works perfectly fine after they updated it simply just because apple updated to iOS 14. Y’all gotta be a little more patient. Give them a little slack to catch up. I use it every night and it works perfectly. Thank you Ozeri! Love the product. God bless.

I love that I can control the fans with the buttons on it, the remote, or OZFX ! I can do everything, no matter which way I decide to do it. I love it so much that I quickly got a second one. And I really like that they note let us name the fans in OZFX so it is easy to tell which fan I’m controlling. Honestly I use OZFX the most since I always have my phone on me. I also talk enjoy that I can change the vertical tilt of the fan electronically, no other fan I’ve had did that. Great fan and technology! Thank you!!

The developers have fixed the crashing problem with the IOS 14 update. I just reinstalled Sep 29. Too bad the general public was not a little more patient. Hate to see a well intentioned company get dragged through the mud.

In the future the dev should let the end user know a fix is coming when a bug arises so not to receive unwarranted negative publicity. Anyway it is great to see the fix was made as I really like this product and the remote control does not have a dim function which is the main reason I use the BT app. Thank you Ozeri.

OZFX has been working flawlessly. Until there was a recent update for iPhones. People are blaming the company of OZFX when in fact you should blame Apple. The company, within a few days, quickly updated its app and now it works flawlessly as before. This happens to many applications when an update on a phone is done. Stop acting like everything revolves around you, because it DOESN'T! Open you eyes and have some common sense. Idiots!

App crashes when scanning for devices on the new IOS 14.

Worked great before, but Bluetooth connectivity through OZFX was a big reason I bought my fan, so I can only give this two stars as of right now

I have 2 ozeri fans and this is SO convenient. No need to get out of bed to look for your fan remote to turn your fan on/off.... just open OZFX! It works perfect w/my phone and I haven’t had any trouble with this at all. I have an iPhone XS and latest iOS 14.

I too couldn’t get it to work. Just delete OZFX and reinstall.
Suggestion for devs: let me rename the device in my list.

I have 2 ozeri fans and recommended my friends to get them . OZFX is awesome because it is one app that controls all the Ozeri models . And jis simple and easy to use . The tower fans with 3 small fans can be controlled by OZFX so easily now I don’t have to look for multiple remote controls . I love OZFX !

My app was working just fine until Wednesday with the new iOS 14 update.

Now OZFX doesn’t open and crashes consistently, doesn’t even show that I even opened OZFX . I love this fan because of its Bluetooth compatibility, I’m sure once it’s fixed it will be better!

Please hurry the new update compatible for iOS 14! Cause I love OZFX and this fan!

Months after my first review and I have tried installing OZFX again… it still won’t connect to Bluetooth even though it has permission.

After the latest iPhone update, OZFX won’t work again. It’s not every update, but this has happened before. It’s been months, so they’ve had plenty of time to update it. I’ve tried installing it again, but still nothing. I have a different iPhone on an earlier version of iOS and it works fine on that one.

OZFX was working great until last week until it no longer paired via Bluetooth to the fan. I clicked on OZFX Support button in OZFX Store and all I got was a website with ads for products.
I’m not a happy camper.
