Much improved over previous versions, but still impossibly frustrating to use. Navigating from schedule to session to try and see the presenters name/title is obnoxious. App doesn’t work well on even the newest iPhones. For $500 million each conference, AGUEvents should be better
Myself and many I spoke to ended up having to delete AGUEvents due to freezing, often related to gigabyte size of memory required to use it.
The AGU app works well, but it is now 2.9 Gb and continues to grow.
Gsa app works fine during its meeting. This one is totally unusable on my 6s.

AGUEvents is notoriously bad. This year is the same. Content is too slow to load and crash easily
The first sync deleted all my schedules that I made through webpage. After I rebuilt my calendar, it could sync only the first event. And AGUEvents takes so much space!
Takes up 25% of the space on this two-year-old iPhone. Dismayed that mobile web is thus the only option.
Too big. Not easy to navigate. Lack of places to rest.
Extremely poor performance on iPhone. Locks up scrolling. Frustrating to use.
I am trying to download the 2017 Fall meeting but it apparently requires a whopping 2 GB of space! I doubt most people have that much available on their smart phone... seems pretty unrealistic. So I can't use AGUEvents which is disappointing.
People want to plan and make a schedule, not read all the abstracts - have you ever bothered to ask your users what they want?
Perhaps the most informative piece of information about a presentation is the name of the presenter - but it's not visible when viewing the session listing!
Continual updating of data makes AGUEvents nearly unusable. Load session information, start to scroll through the talk titles, and AGUEvents goes off and tries to load data for 15-30 seconds. This makes it aggravating to quickly browse and select talks to see. I spend the sessions with my head down trying to negotiate AGUEvents rather than listening fully to talks.
The layout and structure of AGUEvents is great. It’s just too slow, even with WiFi enabled.
AGUEvents (when working) appears to be the best so far compared to previous meetings. The way to find exhibitors in map, list, category is great. The way to separate and find oral/poster/workshops was also really easy to use and edit as needed. The main issue (which trickled down to accessibility at times) is the space it required and constant updating. Perhaps some sections can be “opt in” at the time of download? Perhaps the updating (when it happens) can be user-determined? Otherwise, great work. I look forward to the next iteration!

Attempting to connect to and download the Fall AGU 2021 event data results in a process that never finishes.
Next year I will get the book rather than use this slow, unstable app.
Probably the best app for this years meeting.
AGUEvents is certainly an improvement over past years. I like the map feature, the reminders, ability to add your own entries etc. it maybe because I don't know the convention center as well as I do old old, beloved place. But using AGUEvents on the first day, I am impressed. I did not miss even one session/talk that I wanted to attend.
Having said that, I have two concrete suggestions:
1. It is a HUGE app. Must we include the abstracts? I would have appreciated an option to get a lighter, session and talk listing-only app, and another with full abstracts.
2. Can it import outlook calendar entries in AGUEvents ? That would be cool... then it becomes one stop shop.
