This app is kind of ridiculous because it doesn’t let you have any sort of vibrato at all. It makes you sing it completely straight tone, and as a professional singer, that’s not only hard to do, but just plain wrong technique. The Exercises are fun and the progression of them is good for students, but if you want to have young students do these exercises, Singing straight tone like that isn’t healthy for young singers to get in the habit of doing. If you have vibrato it takes off points for “intonation” as it reads vibrato as wrong notes. Not a good app for young singers or to work on proper technique!!!!

It’s okay and a useful tool. But is a bit short sighted when considering how different voices work. And has a hard time reconciling heathy vibrato in pitch variation and healthy tessitura for different singers. Just because C major is easy to play on the pink does not make it an easy key to sing in. Especially if you have a high tonic. And simple octave displacement does not help because it forces the singer to use an uncomfortably low place to make room for the whole exercise costing them precious points.
Good app concept. Flawed execution. Would like to see a rework.

I came here after using Binary Guilt Software’s incredible reading and rhythm training apps to learn to sight read on guitar. I was hoping for some thing similarly well organized for teaching you to sight sing. Instead, this is organize more like a freemium game app. It has a bunch of exercises, but they are not organized in a way that leads you through learning to sight-sing. They are incredibly short, and there is no beginner progression.
