Not user friendly

I’m trying to use PocketAnatomy as a novice, a yoga student interested in learning more about the muscles we are working in class. PocketAnatomy has no common language use. Curious about the IT band? PocketAnatomy has no clue what you are referring to. There is no back button. You touch it and it’s suddenly in a whole new muscle, or maybe it’s switched to nerves. Gotta start over. Also, so many pins. Which is the one you want? I have learned nothing but how to control my aggravation thru more yoga.

Suggestions

I do like PocketAnatomy for its basic functions. I think I would suggest that PocketAnatomy makes it easier to cut away muscles to see all of the underlying musculature. I would also point out the bony landmarks on the skeleton to better visualize the origin and insertion points.

Need tools to isolate

I think this would be a much better tool if there were a way to highlight a single muscle and see the whole muscle.

Missing a few features

Should be able to have arrow keys to go from one pin to another - not just having to manually spin and click on each pin

Wish it could default to female

I really love PocketAnatomy. It’s helpful even if a little glitchy. Wish it could default to female. Most of my work is with women and every time I have to look something up I have to reset it to female view. What a drag.

Force.

Stop trying to force me to get a subscription with that annoying pop up! I don’t care if it’s a 7-day free trial, I won’t get it!

Really helpful tool

Visuals are great. Clean and intuitive interface. Well organized. Useful info for each part. The MULTIPLE testing tools are incredibly helpful for studying. Thank you so much guys.

Just one bug: when tapping on the speaker for dialogue in the info section, PocketAnatomy crashes. iPhone SE iOS 13.1.2

Also, would you please add the ability to skip questions in the testing mode? Would really help speed things along for ones I am sure I know already or am not currently studying.

Thank you guys so much!

Very good free app

Thank you all for your kindness to make PocketAnatomy free for everyone!!!

App

Amazing app and if you can’t find anything on human body here your in trouble!!

Pocket anatomy

Outstanding app. It is the best anatomy app that I have ever used. I highly recommend PocketAnatomy as it is easy to use.

Fantastic Pocket Guide

I use PocketAnatomy to pin point issues in my body! It is very easy to ise and super detailed. Great job Team!!

BEST FREE ANATOMY APP

This is the best free anatomy app that I ever had the chance to have my hands to. I
IT has features that you would only expect for a paid app, but they put them out there for free. Their developers are really generous.
If you are a medical student that is short on budget, GET PocketAnatomy, ASAP!

Although I would have a few suggestions. It would be better if we can also isolate each organ or systems. I know that is already too much to ask for a free app, but if you would add that, even for a paid version (but not too expensive), I would get that, just to have the most features from PocketAnatomy.

Lastly, I really want to thank the developer for PocketAnatomy. This is truly a gift for us with limited finances to buy apps for our education.

Savior in a financial crisis!

During this pandemic online school has been hard enough! Especially because institutions have not reduced tuition or fees regardless of the fact that students are not obtaining the full educational experience! Having this free learning software has been a fantastic aid on my journey towards my physical therapy degree. I appreciate it very much!

Fantastic educational app

The graphics and organization are outstanding. My wife is a massage therapist and will use this to show people what she is working on.

Fantastic app for patient display

I have been a head and neck surgeon for 30+ years and this is the perfect addition to demonstrate structures yo patients and interns.
PocketAnatomy with its testing process (unexpected addition) is fantastic and well worth the few coin it costs.

Amazing app

I am a massage therapist of 13 years and I have some medical training and PocketAnatomy has been very helpful in educating myself and my clients and patients. I recommended to them all the time.

A “PURE GIFT” to Anatomy Students

I”m a retired Radiology Technologist.
I find myself truly amazed to view the positions and depth of information available on this site about the human body.
It really is to me, most comprehensive view of anatomy I’ve ever had privilege to see with my own eyes.
I use it now figure out exactly “what the heck” the doctor is talking about.
It’s fun to help my family and even friends. They think I must a “wonderful memory” LOL (private joke—I’m 82 😼)
THANK YOU so so much!

Excellent app, not only because it’s free

Definitely a much better and friendlier app than many of those I’ve tested. Easy to change views, rich explanations when using the search mode, ... And it’s free. Thank you very much for this gift.

Highly reccomend it for new med students

Well, i am still a 1st year med student but PocketAnatomy is the best one among all those anatomy apps: it gives you everything you need (at least for a beginner like me) and give you also a proper view about how muscles, nerves, arteries ... are organised in the body
+precious details about each muscle...💜💜💜

Excellent

I was absolutely blown away by PocketAnatomy!! I am in anatomy and PocketAnatomy is my new best friend. Thanks to the creators!! Awesome job!
