Moboreader overcharged me for a package when I reported it to my bank for a refund of the extra charge. Moboreader then stole coins that I paid for. I’ve been trying to get a hold of someone with no luck. They have an AI responded to every message I have sent. And invisible workers who seem to always be away from their desk or to contact them during working hours. I’ve been trying to contact them since 8am.

This ap is a nightmare,old chapters released and charged for.coins disappear . Chapters are not proper chapters, I have spent a fortune on this book,wait 23hrs57min to receive chapter takes 3 mins to read. Then wrong/repeat/old chapters released wait days for correct chapters to find all coins and free coins have all gone. I top up by paying for chapters only to find they have gone on a book I'm not actually reading(I now have a complete book that I'm not reading but have paid for,and don't actually want) I will be letting all the social media platforms know what is going on, in my opinion this behaviour is not right and on the cusb of being illegal fraudulent behaviour on the part of the writer and on the part of moboreader as encouraging these writers,paying them to behave in this manner.

I’ve paid for SVIP for one month from mar1/21 to April 1/2. While reading a book today I was to a next chapter and I could no longer continue reading as it saying I have to buy more coins. Found a book that I enjoy. It has hundreds of chapters. This is good money for the company because you’ll have to buy coins in order to read anything. However, it’s exhausting trying to read that much and stop because the app is crappy. It keeps saying it’s unable to connect and failed to download. I have unlimited streaming and data on my phone plus WiFi. Very inconvenient! The translation started out good now it’s awful. Whoever translated couldn’t even bother writing the correct names for characters. Seems like they’re just throwing it together and posting it. App needs huge improvements and books need better translators!

I am completely frustrated with this app. I have used it for over a year and within the last two months it is constantly changing. Fees to purchase coins, ability to earn free coins and any number of other things change on a daily basis. It also seems that different people are able to purchase coins a different prices. I do not recommend this app unless you already have books that you’re in the process of purchasing. It is far too expensive and he end up paying a fortune for books on this app. Sadly it used to be one of my favorites.

i’m at a loss

basically, i’d saved up a bunch of coins from daily log-in’s and watching ads. with them, i was hoping to binge-read a novel when i got the chance. however, life happened and i didn’t open the app for a whole two days. i come back today to find that ALL the coins i’d managed to collect are gone. literally at zero

i’m really frustrated tbh. does mobo not care about their readers? i like only two stories available here, and they’re translations. not original content. i have absolutely no qualms about deleting this app, as i can definitely let go of two stories, especially considering how defective and poorly executed this app is

if you’re thinking of getting this: save yourself the trouble and don’t download it. especially if you’re not gonna dish out cash to read really low brow content. i thought i could power through with ads and daily log-ins, but seeing as how all of that can disappear in a second there’s really no point 🤷🏻‍♀️
