Really good app I just wish you can repost more songs with the free plan like 10 songs every 12 hours is crazy for people who actually wanna grind RepostExchange and get good and get plays n build a following because sometimes reposting 10 songs can only get you like 25 credits and it’s 50 for a campaign meaning you gotta wait a whole 24 hours get 50 to start a campaign for a guy with hella followers to repost you take all your credits and you only get 3 plays from that is so stupid and I also don’t like how RepostExchange isn’t as good as the actual website online so please fix all that and RepostExchange will be popping and would bring SoundCloud back up to being popular again by the way I’m not the only one who thinks these are problems I’ve seen at least 100 people say the same things I’m saying

They market RepostExchange towards people who don’t know actual music marketing. Any song you monetize through soundcloud while also campaigning through RepostExchange, wont count as paid plays and you don’t get paid for the plays. RepostExchange does push your music to people, but not people actually listening to it. The people giving you plays are just people trying to gain campaign tokens, meaning you aren’t finding real fans. On top of this, the apps servers are horrible. You can never keep a solid connection on RepostExchange without it affecting the performance somehow. Whether it be you click play on a song only for it to say it’s playing when it’s not, or RepostExchange just loading up entirely blank, RepostExchange is almost always going to give you some kind of problem throughout the day. For the people who genuinely need promoting, stop going halfway and start actually paying for your music promoting. If you aren’t willing to do that you shouldn’t be trying to make music or soundcloud content.

Honestly my reasoning behind this review being a 2 star simply revolves around one thing. Personally I feel as if Repost Exchange is somewhat a $ grab. While 30$ for “100K listeners” or 120$ for a half a million people seems a little far fetched not even getting 1000 listens from a promo package I pay 30$ for that says it’ll reach 100 people doesn’t sit right with me. I truly just can’t understand how a company can so far fetchedly promote their product to do one thing when it means no where near the result it swears to provide. Now I’ve tested this theory multiple times purchasing their promo packs or reposting songs from their pages jus naturally trying to gain growth and have seen little to no true growth ever especially not like I was promise I would by this horrid cash grabbing app. I would not recommend and would say don’t waste your time or $ but go pay lump sums for bigger and better promo’s as rob level and his team (I.M.O.)truly are some CON artists!

Hi, I’d like to say I love RepostExchange , but the ‘Contact Support’ button does not work in app at all. There also is a small chat box in which I have one message from what seems like an admin which I can’t message, and I cannot message support from there.

I can’t contact support on twitter nor can I use my email to contact them on Intercom (given an error asking if I have a ‘work email’ when using my email to sign up).

All I want to know is how long it takes for your number of soundcloud followers to update on Repost Exchange. Thank you!

Repost exchange has opened my eyes to the world of SoundCloud, there are a lot of people trying to improve. I like that comments have to be more than a couple words so as to incentivize constructive feedback, I like the idea of getting points for reposting. And the truth is, every once in a while you find a song that you actually will listen to (all the way through), sometimes over and over, and it’s a good way to learn the hard way what captivates people, even the most “eclectic” music producers. That being said I have some improving to do and I’ve learned that from repost exchange, and I’m grateful. However, I personally would be really extra happy if there was a “but” feature where you have to give some sort of criticism (maybe for extra repost points) in your comment on another track.

i have already spent hundreds of dollars to promote my music through ReEx.
i'm not completely satisfied.
Please add clickable 'like' buttons so that people can like my songs without reposting them.
i want to 'like' other peoples' songs without reposting them.

Everybody who uses RepostExchange would benefit.
the like buttons don't work. i can ONLY like a track through re-ex through the repost form. The "heart" buttons don't work AT ALL. They re-direct to MY soundcloud profile, not the song i liked or the artist's profile. If i try to like a song through re-ex i get re-directed to my own soundcloud profile.
I see no way to contact the developers through RepostExchange itself. That's weird, because at one point, Re-ex scheduled an interview with me about my user experience.
I am a fan of this platform, but it is causing my songs to have more reposts than likes. That's not cool. It shows everybody that i'm trying too hard to promote the track. it isn't even fair, because people can't click like without reposting my track. you can only repost 12 tracks a day.
I hear new music i like on Re-Ex. I'd have clicked "like" if i heard it on soundcloud.
Please improve the functionality of Re-Ex.

Repost is a really good way to get ur music promoted within the sound cloud universe. Unfortunately sound cloud is one of the more money hungry companies and inorder to take full advantage of what repost has to offer, you have to monetize ur tracks through sound cloud, pay the pro membership fee and then there is the repost “artist plan” fee you must pay on top of that. By doing this they have 100% legal distribution rights over your music and they collect 20% royalty fee. So to sum it up. To take full advantage of what repost does, one must pay x2 subscription fees, plus bend the knee to a 20% royalty fee if one of ur songs manages to go viral. It is fun though and a great way to connect with artist and hear new music. Just make sure your ready to pay a bunch of money.

To be honest, this is a good idea for an app. A very good idea actually, but there are some regulations that need to be changed.

For example, RepostExchange offers bonus credits in exchange for commenting on a song. But RepostExchange requires that the comment be at least x amount of words, and a lot of comments get flagged and won’t work. I think if someone is going to comment on a track it should be their choice.

this feature forces comments that come from RepostExchange to look like this format:
“this is a really good track, i think the guitar sounds really nice” (x amount of words, specific and sounds very generic/fake)
Personally, i would rather have a comment of whatever the listener wants to say.

Another thing about RepostExchange is that it should have a feature for earning credits for liking/commenting etc. Having 35 reposts with 0 likes or comments becomes very suspicious as a viewer. If anything, each action should reward the same amount of credits, encouraging full engagement to a song.

Theres a lot to work on, i hope that some of the developers see this and get a chance to make it better.

RepostExchange literally helped me get more plays than I expected it’s so reasonable to work with you get help from fellow artists and receive the same help it’s a great community too no lie plus when your reviewing other’s music you’ll be surprised with the talent I was a lot get in contact with other artists as well they are just as good some at your level some working their way up some even higher but they’re all working on the same app like you to get where they need to be GET RepostExchange P.S the prices are reasonable.

I’ve had RepostExchange a week and I love it my SoundCloud is buzzing I got 600 plays in one hour by running a campaign. I also love that if you spend all your credits your able to get more without paying. I also find it genius that THEY ROLLOVER CREDITS whatever you don’t use RETURNS and that deserves a freaking award! Also if someone don’t repost your song you get those credits. Overall great app it’s so good I’ve even rated it off my family’s phones to improve the rating

Repost Exchange provides aspiring musicians, especially those in the beginnings of their careers, with the opportunity to share their own music and other people’s music in what can only be seen as a symbiotic relationship. The manner of which is through sharing of other people’s music and yours being shared in return, which ultimately leads to the followers of each different account to see that share and potentially stream, like, or share your track!

Repost Exchange is one of the best methods. I have found to legitimately promote on SoundCloud. I can’t even lie, I had RepostExchange on my phone for a while before I tried it because I wasn’t sure it was real. After I found out that they were officially acquired by SoundCloud, I went ahead and started using them and I haven’t looked back since.

Do yourself the favor and use this to get real plays and interactions from other fellow musicians.

SoundCloud is a great platform, but it is sorely lacking when it comes to giving artists the the ability to promote and connect with other artists, labels and playlists. RepostExchange fills the void and works extremely well. You need to pay for some services, but there is a free level, and that actually works pretty well. There are no hidden fees, as far as I can tell, and they are upfront about the extras you can pay for. All in all, great experience all around.

Repost exchange is really useful for budding and established musicians. You will find it easy to connect with likeminded musicians within your genre and get more traction on Soundcloud. I think one feature that would be neat is you have the base credit pay for listening to 30 seconds, but you get more pay, 20-30% more (or maybe automatically have a repost request sent back), if you listen through the entire song, and you may get badges for this... Just a suggestion. I find a lot of artists just listen 30 seconds in and skim through then repost to save time, but I think that's disingenuous and disrespectful towards the amount of time these artists spent on their work. Add some incentive to listeners on your platform to listen completely through the song like I try to!

RespostExchange is outstanding! Everything is organic and plus you don’t have to pay for the service. Now with that being said you can upgrade to a plan that has more features, but it isn’t necessary. The prices to upgrade are very reasonable assuming you make money from SoundCloud and or just want to gain more plays and fans. I have gained a fanbase because of them. I have been using RespostExchange for a year now and have gained 1k+ followers and 100k+ streams altogether. Thank you to everybody at RespostExchange.

My artist name is Bruce Derby. I like the idea of this app. I think it is good to be able to interact with my fellow musicians on a 1 to 1 basis. I am currently recording a lot in the studio because I am changing distributors. It is nice to take a break and check out other artists and repost their stuff on SoundCloud. Once I’m caught up in the studio either I will, or someone on my team will ,spend more time using this app along with the other platforms we promote on. I had a little trouble at first trying to figure out how to work it, but I’m stumbling through the process. I didn’t really see any instructions but I think the information is available.

I found while using repost exchange that if you send personal work to people and keep pushing your music you will get the most plays where if you let it set no one really listens. So push your production. Also I wish you could earn more credits easily seeming they spend so fast, like a plus ten for time charge instead of two and maybe more for following personal accounts or favoriting. Once you pay for pro plans and also for credits you should earn more faster and if you keep using you should also earn more for repetitive use and reposts. But all in all RepostExchange will help small musicians and artist on soundcloud in so many ways. A great way to connect.

It seems to me as though most of the users critical of RepostExchange do not understand how to use it. Re-Ex is very straightforward about what to expect from their platform! I had my first track reach 1k plays off about 50-60 reposts, and this was a year BEFORE Soundcloud added First Fans! If you aren’t having even a little bit of success, you aren’t using this service right, or your music quality simply isn’t good 🤷🏽‍♂️ I’ve connected and grown with like-minded music family globally, which wouldn’t have happened without Re-Ex. Run a campaign, ask for feedback, send/repost tracks with similar ambitions as yours: it really is that simple. ~Ursinae

Hey! i really love RepostExchange and everything it has to provide, RepostExchange has truly been a real life saver with my music career and has ultimately helped me so much, there is a couple of ideas that you guys could add to your next update! 1. you could make it so we can send are friends or anyone your credits because i’ve told my friends to join but they have no credits and then after a couple of days they quit using RepostExchange because they aren’t getting enough credits because there just starting off. 2. when you send a repost request I feel as if it would be fair for us to get the credits back for the people that either denied the request or just didn’t get to it! this is all the feedback I have. (i will definitely be using RepostExchange for years to come :) )

The only thing I don’t like about RepostExchange, is that there is a seemingly constant flood of SoundCloud rappers that submit songs to me that start with “yea, yea” in the first few seconds, then say the n word at some point in the song (why are we still using that word in 2022? It is divisive, and not helpful in any way) That aside, I’ve been able to network fairly easily with RepostExchange! I’ve connected to artists I wouldn’t otherwise connect to and started some collaborations with them because we repost similar genres. Great for promo!
