Secure VPN & Proxy – Kaspersky Reviews

I had Kaspersky for our virus protection and after learning about VPNs decided to go with their VPN all on both of our iPhones and iPads. The VPN fails to secure the connection on my iPad 80% of the time and when it does manage to secure it, it’ll loose it 90% of the time within 2-3 minutes. This is even while sitting at home on my own wifi. It will also interfere with sending emails on a regular occasion which is very aggravating. After contacting Kaspersky about the email issue I was advised to change the setting for where the VPN is being set up, i.e. another country. I’ve done this, but it doesn’t always work so if it blocks an email I end up turning off the VPN, which will then allow the email to be sent, then hope it will turn back on again.
I find it extremely unreliable.

This IS a great app....but like most “free” apps , it can run out just when you need it. I am too cheap to pay $12 a month for the upgrsde - but I do use Kaspersky Labs’ “Total Security” on all my PCs, including all those that I build for others. I trust them to be the best and they are.

I would like to see Kaspersky Labs provide more tools in their antivirus apps. For examples: An Adware remover, registry fix, malware remover, and a few other slick maintenance programs everyone needs at times, but knows if they try the download-for-freebies abailable online, they will be swamped with adware, trackers, and hackers trying to steal and sell off every keystroke.

The difference in getting a Kaspersky tool would be stress-free because I already trust Kaspersky. It would be so good to just select those services from someone you already know and have confidence in.

I may seem gullible - but they have been my choice for protection software “exclusively” for over 10 years -?and their products have never let me down.

Love the added security it provides..... When it wants to work, when I first use my device after it’s been sleep mode for the night I get notifications telling me SecureVPNProxy can not secure the connection please try again later. I end up having to restart the device before a secure connection can be established again.

It often takes 30 sec or much more to turn on. Often does not turn on automatically; I used to get notifications about failure to turn on, but it happened often enough that I became annoyed and turned off the notifications. Restarting SecureVPNProxy and restarting my phone seem to have little effect, if any. I didn’t see an obvious explanation for these issues. Haven’t contacted customer support yet, might soon.

Aside from that, I love the look and ease of use of SecureVPNProxy , no other complaints.

As far as I can tell, this is doing it’s job well and I have not had any issues. Only thing I do not like is that almost all my search engines initially come up in Russian so I have to keep changing that, and I keep getting login warnings (and have to keep doing double authentications) when I sign into things like facebook and my email.

Not sure if this is related or not but I have this on my old iPhone. The vpn on that phone stays on all the time. On my iPhone 8 Plus, it fails to turn on. That is until I set it to come on. So that being said, it literally drains the battery. Normally about this time of day (around 4 pm), I still have 90% battery. Does this vpn drain the battery? Now ours almost 5 and my battery is around 64%.

I tried several times to get connected with the USA West Coast on my iPhone and PC computer

I could get connected early in the mornings but in the afternoons couldn’t connect

Then contacted the customer service Dept representative who wrote and told me to down load test software to record - sent the information and they continued to say they received nothing -

After 1 year of constant disconnections - I changed to another VPN service which was a breeze and never disconnects me on my iPhone!!

Another competitors VPN working with Kaspersky Total Security is tricky on the PC computer!!

So make sure your Kaspersky protection works with the competitors VPN. Some do and some don’t!! But found one and I’m so happy - no more disconnections of the VPN!! Glad I changed to the competitors VPN - why didn’t I do this before and cancel the disappointing Kaspersky VPN!!!!

After the first year using it in Brazil to use a US VPN site, it almost never connects with iOS devices. Going to look for a different VPN when my subscription runs out

Ok found the kaspersky subscriptions on SecureVPNProxy store, its not on the page where I purchased the subscription but in the top right of the search page a small blue icon. I’d never noticed this before!

If I try to cancel renewal, I get forwarded to a web page in a language I cant read, so how can I manage my subscription. I put a message in to support, they claim I could manage from App store, where I purchased subscription but I dont see anywhere to do that on SecureVPNProxy store page!

I was there back in the BBS boards days of the infant Internet. Binary? Sure. Hackers? Sure. Back in those days, you could figure out who it was and show up at their doorstep to hash (aka stomp not tag) people out.
Alas, “this ain’t back day” as Biggie Smalls would say. Pay for the ease and effectiveness of SecureVPNProxy and those who stand behind it. It’s money well spent!

They offered me a free trial for 7 days on my MacBook. The latency was too high for my application needs so I tried to cancel but SecureVPNProxy requires you to submit a cancel request on their website instead of on SecureVPNProxy Store. I received a confirmation email of my request on Monday and apple charged me for a one year service on Thursday. Now I have to try fight this charge. Too much of a hassle than it’s worth. Subscribe from the website not from SecureVPNProxy Store.

I have the application installed in my iphone, ipad, MacBook, and a windows Machine.
SecureVPNProxy works perfectly on both MacBook and Windows but on IOS is something else.
The keeps stuck on "connecting". I really love the application on my desktop machines but this annoying problem hold me back from pay for the full subscription.
I need an reliable vpn service works find on all my devices not only work if it says so.
I hope that you will fix the issue soon since the application works fine on the desktop version every single time I hit "Connect" but doesn't work on ios even from the same internet connection.
I'm pretty sure that the issue doesn't related to mu internet connectivity.

For some reason SecureVPNProxy doesn’t allow me to connect to public WiFi’s like at coffee shops, hotels, Starbucks because the pop up to “accept public WiFi” terms and conditions doesn’t appear.

However once I uninstall SecureVPNProxy , then try to connect to the public WiFi’s the pop ups to accept terms and conditions appears.

Very frustrating as I have a one year subscription for SecureVPNProxy now.

I wrote a critical review days ago, but it seems to quickly connect to a VPN on the mobile app now. At least on the home network

Really Kaspersky has proven to be best in all the inventions and innovations.. the moment I learnt about this vpn I knew the real breakthrough has come and amazingly they proved above what I expected.. frankly if there is an option to rate SecureVPNProxy above 5 star I will gladly rate them 200+ stars

There's a known issue with Kaspersky VPN with iPhones where it won't be able to intelligently reconnect to the internet when the phone goes to sleep; I literally have to wake up my phone, turn off the VPN (because the kill switch stopped the internet and will endlessly new boot-looping), then reinitialize the VPN. Every. Time.

Besides this, it's a pretty good VPN and I'd gladly update my review is they fix this issue

I would like to express my appreciation for your free VPN service. It has helped me in weird situations where I don’t have cell service but need to make a secure transaction, phone call, or send a email over public WiFi.

I hope to purchase the premium plan someday to support Kaspersky but the free data has been way more than enough for the few minutes when I needed it most. I have and love Kaspersky on all my computers and phones.

It's nice to use this application. But i was confused of this was disconnected the vpn within 1 minute after phone screen lock. And then when I opened the phone this vpn cannot automatically reconnected.

SecureVPNProxy is generally good with high throughput and low latency. Sometimes new versions have been less reliable than the version it replaced, which had no problems.

This is a very convenient and easy to use app. I particularly like to use it at work when connecting to company WiFi to prevent any eavesdropping and the security it provides in other public settings. The only improvement I would like to see would be an option to automatically secure the connection over frequently used WiFi networks when you connect. The automatic prompt when connecting to public unsecured network is a nice add though.

Since I bought SecureVPNProxy, I have a daily connection and disconnection problem. I expect it automatically on whenever I use my phone. I have to turn it on manually. Most of the time it failed. My home wifi is always on everyday. I don’t know whats the problem

Takes Way too long for connecting ANY licensed device. If one device has an issue, the other licensed devices ALSO do. Takes a whole 24 hr DAY to try and repair EVERY TIME there’s an issue. So far, that is a monthly occurrence on the YEARLY subscription of 6 licenses I’ve purchased for this year. #Pathetic

The application does what it says it will do excellently. I strongly recommend. Please Kaspersky Team, keep up the good work and excellent pricing too.

I use SecureVPNProxy in my mobile devices works great.

I Purchased VPN yesterday. I placed it on my Mac laptop, my iPad 4 and my iPhone 8. All software is updated. The link drops constantly on all three devices. I am so frustrated. What is going on. Is this not compatible with my devices?

The secure VPN does not lock in. You have to constantly re-set it from failure.
