This is a very good app except for one thing that is driving me nuts. Every time I launch FileMakerGo17 , I get a white screen with the FileMaker Go icon as the only item on the screen. FileMaker never launches, ever, until I go back to the dock and launch it again. This may seem trivial, but it drives me crazy and slows me down when I am in a hurry to get information. I have deleted it, reinstalled, it, reset my iPad to factory settings and generally anything I can think of. Yet, here I am.
Any help is appreciated.

I had my entirely library of music in a FileMaker Pro 13 file. When I updated my MacBook Pro, I could not get the file to open, always getting an error message. On a whim I downloaded FileMakerGo17 and loaded the file into it. Lo and behold, it opened!

It’s amazing that an Apple company is ensuring that a post-PC era will never happen. There might be legitimate reasons for not including the full development tools of FileMaker Advanced on this iPad version, though with a full Photoshop for iPad on the horizon, those reasons are seeming more and more specious. But to keep functionality that would work just fine in this iPad version of FileMaker, like bulk emailing, from FileMakerGo17 is just a crime.

Prior to the FMG update to 17.0.4 our iPhone layouts were viewing correctly, filling the screens of Plus and Max models. This was great: we didn’t have to create custom layouts for those widths. We’re hoping that this change, hopefully a bug, will be fixed in the next update. Otherwise Go is great.

It needs to sync via iCloud—-and be able to import mort simply from Apple apps.

FileMakerGo17 is fine but it feels dated due to the fact that you cannot work with any of your databases that are stored in the Apple Files app. I need this to sync my databases between my Mac and iPad.

It will not sync with all the apps I have created on previous versions of FileMaker the connections were refused to connect to FileMaker 12 FileMaker 14 and FileMaker 15
