I bought a home weather station that requires WeatherSense to be set up properly. WeatherSense requires you register your email. I tried but never got a confirming link from the company. I finally emailed them. They responded quickly and validated the email manually. This allowed me to get the weather station set up. Fortunately, I’m an IT professional. The set up instructions were written by someone who does not write English very well. Several times I couldn’t really understand what they were trying to say, so I had to do things that were not stated in the instructions. I finally got the thing working. I’d suggest that the manufacturer find a way to allow set up and Wi-Fi connection without using WeatherSense . It was far more difficult to get the thing set up than it needed to be.

Received the weather station for Xmas. Saw I needed WeatherSense to set up the weather station. But first, for some reason, you need to register to make WeatherSense work. Did the registration and no conformation email has arrived 5 hours later. Needless to say the weather station is basically rendered useless without WeatherSense . Emailed the company, no response. Well this weather station will be going back tomorrow. To bad to, looked like a good station. 1 star because no stars is not an option!

WeatherSense is to be used with Taylor’s weather station. The outside temperature is ok, obtained from the sensor placed outside the house. The rest: feels like temperature and weather forecast were “taken from internet” based on my location — totally wrong! The information is sent to the Taylor’s display as well.
Also WeatherSense reverts to it’s default SI units (C, km/hr) from time to time. Quite useless app.

There isn’t anyway to check the weather when you want to. Everything is set to check every hour. I don’t want to wait to check what it is doing right now. A lot can change in an hour.

I could not pair WeatherSense with the station. In the set location, it always prompt network error.

They acknowledge I registered but they have not activated my account to use WeatherSense for weeks.
