I am an iPhone X user. MediShare crashes all the time. I uninstalled and re-installed MediShare to no avail. I am a new member as well and can not access my card, as it instantly crashes. Not to mention crashing elsewhere. Also the search provider function isn’t working well on MediShare or the website. I could not find a specific provider either place, and finally had to call PHCS to confirm that the provider is in-network. I also searched under a radiology facility with no names and it returned nothing in my town, when in fact the above mentioned provider was one. Hoping that MediShare improves, as it appears the design is simple and user friendly.

Update in response to provider’s reply:
I emailed PHCS regarding the provider. I have updated MediShare , and it crashed right when I tried to pull up the card. The second time I launched it, it immediately crashed on my iPhone X.

What’s the point of having an app if it doesn’t function. What’s the point of having customer service if they aren’t there when needed. What’s the point of having telehealth option if you don’t have any providers available. What’s the point of having medi-share if they don’t provide the services they say they will. Yes. I’m irritated. They sure don’t mind taking my monthly “donation” and NEVER have problems with that NOR increasing it. I will be looking for a different “insurance”.

I’m a Medi-Share member and I support them. However, making an app that does not even work is terrible. It does not show a lot of care for the customer. Open MediShare , choose “telehealth”, choose “mental health counselor”, and then choose “call to schedule” and BOOM, crashes MediShare . This feature does not work after six times of trying it. Now, if I truly needed a mental health councilor, I sure wouldn’t be able to get the help I needed with MediShare.
Next feature... the feature most customers would use also does not work. Choose “telehealth”, choose “primary care physician”, pick the family member you need to start up a telehealth session for, choose “profile information”, and BOOM, app crashes. Geezzzz.

I cannot even begin to describe the level of frustration this company/ministry has continually caused our family. From multiple bills being sent to collections for failure to process which risked ruining our credit to total negligence and lack of responsibility from anyone on their support team (even managers & supervisors). You know you have a problem when collections is more helpful to work with you on medical bills than a ministry. And when you tell collections you work with this app, their response is “Oh, that company. Yeah we know all about them…” Do the yourself a favor and get real health insurance.

I love the prayer stream on this but in order to see any updates I have to uninstall and install it again. It just seems stuck on the same time and will say posted 1 hr ago when it’s been let’s say 5 days ago. I have a IPhone SE and have seen where others are having problems with crashing. I wish we could access the prayerstream on a regular computer or laptop like I once was able to do instead of using apps, Please bring prayerstream back where we can access without an app!!

I’ve tried to make a couple different telehealth appointments this morning. The first couple times I kept getting an error message when I tried to submit. It won’t let me upload photos. I successfully made two appointments but then five minutes later got an email saying that I missed my appointment phone call. I had no missed calls and no blocked calls nothing ever came in. This occurred last time I tried to use MediShare as well which was several months ago. So nothing has changed or been updated.

In trying to use the MDLive feature it crashes once you’ve already spent time entering information on the very last survey question. I have gotten it to work 1 time out of about 25 tries. Chat feature takes a long time to get ahold of someone and when I reported the issue of MediShare crashing the lady was not in the least bit helpful. I would think that after such negative reviews focusing on crashing they would work on a fix or at least acknowledge that there is a problem.

I love how MediShare looks. I downloaded it and joined a new group. The feed was helpful. But I cannot use the telemedicine part. It only opens to screen to edit and if you tap anywhere on the screen MediShare disappears! Now, I can not even find my icon on app screens. Now I am having to access info from App Store icon and search for Medi-Share then tapp on MediShare . It won’t let me reload app or anything! Frustrating.

It’s a decent app, it’s nice that it allows me access to my member card and to view pending provider bills, but my rating would go to a 5 star if the function of bill pay was added. It is often not convenient for me to access my computer and the wait time to call has been longer than desired when I am available to call. The ability to pay on MediShare would make this app and MediShare so much better.

I like the idea for MediShare, but I too am having difficulties. Since the last update MediShare white screen upon opening. Before that, the medical bill statuses were not displaying (whether in progress or approved), though that may have been fixed since the last update, but I'm not sure because I can't open MediShare .

Update: I am still having the same issue. I am still on iOS 10 on a 5s if that helps.

On the portion where you view medical bills, there is an option to ask a question about bills. When I try to use this feature, the keyboard does not close out to submit the question. Please resolve this so I can inquire about sharing questions more effectively!
It is very frustrating.

App will open and sometimes you can click on an option and it will go to that screen but then it crashes if you try to go to another. And lately it will open the main page but crash as soon as any option is clicked. It goes to a blank white page at that time.

Because I love Medi-share!
However, it has bugs. Like trying to submit a question regarding an eob and it goes to a screen that says I’ll get an email in two days. And then it stayed STUCK on that screen. So I had to close it, reopen it, log back in and try to go to ask a question about another eob, but it sent me to that same STUCK screen!!! By the way, please send eobs to Quest! This is a repeat problem (3rd time!) with Quest and you hadn’t sent it last time either!
But overall I do love Medi-share!

Just downloaded and many of the features crash MediShare including the ‘cards’ feature. It seems like a neat app and I will come back and update to more stars if they’re able to fix these issues. For now. MediShare is completely unusable.

— Update 1/2/18 — The new version fixes the crashes. Well done. The only glitch I notice is that nothing is showing up in my feed. It says that I’m ‘sharing with these 25 families’ but when clicked...takes me to a ‘Share Posts’ page that is blank.

Revising my previous review. Was having serious issues with MediShare crashing. The newest update seems to have fixed the crashing for now.
Downloaded the update and it did not have any positive affect. Had to delete and reinstall MediShare on iPhone to get it to work.
If you are having issues, delete and re install. I am glad this is working now. Thanks

Just like everyone else, I can’t get past the main screen. Every tab/option I click gives me the spinning icon. Just joined the program and would really like to be able to access information!

Update 8/10: newer version is working now for us. They even emailed me directly to see if there was something additional they could do. So, giving them some extra stars!

We have been Medi-Share members for 4 years and have been pleased with their service. However, finding information we need online (quickly) has sometimes been a challenge. MediShare changes that and is amazing! It allows us the opportunity to quickly view bills in process, access ID cards, and find contact information for the member center. This will make our lives that much easier as we navigate our health needs. Thank you for creating this tool and putting these resources in our hands!

I love MediShare but has been crashing for about two months now. I have updated my phone and updated app still crashing. Screen goes blank. MediShare updated but still was crashing. I deleted MediShare and re-downloaded it. Works perfectly! Thank you!

UPDATE: app works very well now!

The only screen that reliably works is the provider search screen... the rest of them have an infinite loading logo or just a blank white screen and then I have to force close MediShare . I’d be happy to provide troubleshooting details, but MediShare has consistently been buggy every update for the past year at least.

UPDATE: logging out and back in has fixed my issue for now, I’m hopeful that I won’t have to do that all the time, but we’ll see.

Just updated but I’m still getting the white screen after about one or two seconds of opening MediShare . Please fix! Love MediShare when it works. Thanks!

Update - works great. The trick is that you have to log out and then log back in to see your provider bills. Same with the website.
