NFL Blitz - Trading Card Games Reviews

I have had nothing but problems with NFLBlitz myself. Things like chat won’t work all day. If you click on the icon to claim your prize or coins, sometimes it kicks you off NFLBlitz or just stays on the screen froze so you don’t actually know if you really got your gift or not cause you never seen it. Also sometimes when you know you have 10 of the exact same card and you go to trade or auction, it’s not in your inventory anywhere.

I decided to wait a while before reviewing NFLBlitz, first off I like the concept very much and the tie in with physical products. But now on to the user experience, the thing I really don’t get is how the rewards buttons is not visibly highlighted in a hue darker or different than the background most times I have not been able to tell if the reward is available or not, which is totally different when using the Dunk basketball version. Then the loading issue happens very frequently even after doing a page refresh and closing all other open apps. One other thing that needs much improvement is being able to read player names on some the front side cards also there are way to many repeat cards received win playing the spin the wheel game. The last thing to improve would be the sub menus to access trades, selling and buying there are too many steps to doing simple tasks..

I love this game, but I wish there could be a pack simulator where you could get packs without having to spend coins or real money. If there could be a website or game that could be a pack simulator that would be great. After looking up pack simulator many times and not getting good results it has made me frustrated that people haven’t made this a thing yet. I know that Pokémon has already made something like this and now it would be great if Panini could make one just like it. There are also some minor glitches in the free coins ads and glitches in kick tac toe. Overall this game is good, but could use some fixes. I also wish that there could be a pack simulator so that you don’t have to spend any currency.

I thought this game would be fun because I had the sticker book collection thing in my house and that’s how I found NFLBlitz. One of the main issues I had was every time, keep in mind I was logged in, I tried to do something simple like click the button “social” to see what goes on in there it asked me to log in or create a new account. The second issue I had was that the game itself was glitchy, that could just be me but the stutters and flashes don’t happen in any other mobile game I play, with and without internet. And the last thing I really have to say is that there are too many good cards you can get in just a simple pack. I think with just a few fixes on some simple inconveniences this game would be really fun and I would totally play it!!

This is a great game and really fun to play and collect cards. I have a few issues with the game. It crashes every so often which isn’t a huge problem but it’s annoying sometimes. In the free reward pack you get every 4 hours, you can pull very good cards. This is good but ruins the value. I can’t even get a Joe Burrow autograph to sell for 500 coins. Another annoyance is that you get so many base cards from pack battles, free rewards, etc. These cards are pointless and it would be nice if there was a card exchange. Even if it was 10 coins per card it would still be better than having tons of base cards

I really want to like NFLBlitz but I just can’t, partly because it crashes constantly and partly because it has a terrible overall user experience— hardly benefiting of a brand of Panini’s caliber.

Sticking to the crashing which makes it virtually unusable: It crashes during pack battle, it crashes during card hunter, it crashes playing mystery box, it crashes while claiming rewards, it crashes while earning coins, it crashes while buying packs, it even crashes while just opening sometimes! And usually, I lose whatever I was doing just prior to the crash. The crashes are inconsistent though; one session, it’ll be one thing, and the next session it’ll be something else. I’m always trying to guess what will crash next… that’s the game within the game.

The part I find most discouraging though is that I have written to support about a few of my issues, including pack battle crashes, and I’ve been generally dismissed. They have told me it works for them and that I should make sure I have a “strong internet connection.” So I guess I need something better than Fios to use NFLBlitz correctly.

Very disappointing app.

It’s been lagging so badly the last few months. Screws ya over when you’re trying to win an auction or play a pack battle. Lost out on a lot of cards I wanted in auctions due to the lagging issue lately. Haven’t been able to participate in a pack battle in a month because it freezes after the first round and that makes the chances of losing greater, thus, no chance to move up in the ranks.

I’ve lost a lot of money on issues with this game. It’s unfortunate. Don’t understand why they are having all these issues ALL THE TIME with no end in sight. I miss the old days when it worked appropriately.

I first downloaded months ago. I thought it was really great at first. Although with no teaching in detail is available at first, I slowly started learning there is so much a person can do on NFLBlitz.
After I seen updates are attainable, I wish I never did. After this update, when you watch ads for earning coins, every time it cheats you of the promised coins at the bottom. Watch an ad, and click the claim coins, it says you have none, to watch a video, which is what I am doing. After 1 or 2 ads, NFLBlitz freezes, and have to restart app.
Was great app, but if you have an older release of say 6 months ago, I do not recommend updating your version of Panini Blitz.

I think the concept of collecting cards on your mobile device is really cool, I love NFLBlitz but… there’s a ton of bugs.
3 times now I have bought a pack in pack wars, then it kicks me out and it doesn’t let me rejoin the game. And it is ruining my win/lose ratio and losing me money and cards. Plus there are a lot of UI glitches, once I was stuck on a screen for 10 seconds loading into settings. Please fix some of your bugs, wonderful game tho. Thank you for this game.

I was trying to be positive about NFLBlitz, as it is a cool idea. I have several thoughts though. First, there should be a way to sort the cards easier. Second, NFLBlitz randomly closes with no warning.
I logged on last night with no issues, but this morning, I got a message that my account has been deactivated. There was no communication or reason given. I attempted to contact customer support, but I keep getting dead links. So I guess that means that I am done with NFLBlitz, since they closed my account. I had considered buying some things within the game, but I am glad that I chose to wait. I would not recommend NFLBlitz.

I download NFLBlitz because we have digital downloads and within seconds it has a little error popping up continuously saying that it couldn’t get a connection so I register(I honestly don’t know how I did) but then figured if I get out of NFLBlitz for a little but that maybe that would reset it. WRONG!!!! It is telling me it can’t retrieve the user setting or credentials or something and won’t let me even get to the actual home page of NFLBlitz . How am I supposed to use NFLBlitz if I can’t even get into it???? And I have to iOS 14 downloaded so it’s NFLBlitz all the way around that isn’t functioning. Very very irritating

Too many times does NFLBlitz freeze at inopportune times. Constantly freezes in situations when coins are on the line and I end up losing them. Freezes during pack battles and mystery box challenges causing frustration and loss of coins which money can be involved if coins were purchased through app. Definitely needs an upgrade to fix bugs that cause this happening.

I just downloaded this a few days ago and I’m already hooked. It says there was an update four days ago to fix bugs but it still crashes pretty often and says I’m not connected to the internet when I definitely am and don’t have issues with other apps. If they could truly fix these bugs it would be my favorite app by far.

Was just playing the Mystery Box mini game and was at about the 25 or 20yrd mark and it crashed and I lost all my rewards to that point. I tried to get back in it thinking I would be able to pick up where I left off but that wasn’t the case, and now I have to wait 24hrs. I won about 3200+ coins, 48 cases, about 4 or 5 packs and I believe an hour of VIP, all disappeared

I spent 60$ on game do the mystery box get all the way collect rewords crashes if u even get close to winning lose all your coins rewords.. don’t wast your time on trying to get far it will rob you. What trash money stolen. Even tho it’s the games fault I did win I opt out and collect crash everytime 15 yard line end zone crash all the way collect crash 60$ done lost everything read fine print any time game can be changed to a subscription and game crashes and you lose rewords when it does even throw its on there sever how is that possible other than it’s a scam

Would be rated much higher, because the game is well designed. But, I have never used an app with so many crashes and bugs. The list just continues to grow with the amount of glitches in the games. It’s made it unusable at times and that is unfortunate. Hope the creators take more pride in the quality and smoothness of its operating system.

I think this a really cool idea and hope they keep updating NFLBlitz I think it could really go somewhere with the blow up of NFTs and all that stuff.I really hope some day we can sell these cards and make money which would really be fun. I hope more people find out about this game and that they keep making rare cards and other cool cards

The mystery box is a game mode where every round you pick between 4 boxes and you get what ever is inside of them but one of the boxes has a fumble which makes you lose your rewards if you get a fumble and the only way you can keep your rewards is if you pay coins and you can keep playing. I think the mystery box is rigged because there is no way my luck is extremely that bad were I get a fumble every single time. Every round I get a fumble and I never have enough coins to keep playing.

I think there could be or is a big market for digital cards but Panini should stop separating NFLBlitz from the blockchain cards they sell on their website, which is confusing (one feels real and this feels less real/secure) and should make it less of a game feel and more of a collecting feel. Also add an ability to move the NFTs across platforms. And add ability to auction based on $s and not just the Blitz or Dunk coins

Ok I love the game and the packs I clicked on trade and I logged in and it said nick name I clicked it I named myself and I put a avatar on and I clicked save and it said validation fails and I restarted my phone since my phone is kinda glitchy and I clicked on the game and it put me on the nick name and aviator thingy I put in the name and aviator and it still said validation fails so if you read this pls fix this thx sincerely a comment

Had an issue with after watching video during mystery game it kicked me out of the game and I lost all my prizes I had won up until that point...this had happened many many times before I sent an email to customer support...the response was basically that the game was programmed not to do that..have a great day. Really? No I’m sorry for the inconvenience or we will look into it....nothing. I realize the game is not supposed to that that...that is the reason I let you know it was! So I sent another email again detailing what was happening and I have yet to hear anything. I have paid money out of my pocket to play this game...which other than the issue I was having I love! But this is horrible customer service!

I am Steadymobbin on blitz. I love the new game and the pack battles as it keeps me more interested in returning to the game! I also love the look of the cards. I think that we should be able to get more coins in various ways and we used to get 1000 coins verses the 500 now which was kind of a bummer. I would love for it to be easier for me to pick and choose what cards I’d like to trade for and which cards I’d like to trade. It’s so hard and time consuming looking through my collections and figuring out which cards i want to trade and what cards i need! I also don’t like the fact that if i don’t have the card i can’t get a clear view of the cards as you guys have it hazed our for some reason! My overall review of NFLBlitz is that i love it just wish the the operating interface was a lot more user friendly...and i absolutely LOVE the pack battles! Steadymobbin

Even though the transition from Gridiron to Blitz took a little longer than I expected everything turned out great in the end. I received all of my cards from Gridiron. I really like the newly added features in Blitz such as the pack battles. They are fun. The weekly contests were awesome. I won a free box of Panini Select by coming in 5th place for the Super Bowl. The box of cards I received had some awesome hits! These real cards I won exceeded my expectations. The only suggestion I could make to the Blitz team is to redesign the trading aspect in Blitz. It’s kind of clunky and I end up spending way more in in-app purchases than I would like. Good for you I guess but not for all of your clients. Other than that one suggestion I am an extremely satisfied customer. Keep up the good work. FLY EAGLES FLY!!!

I’ve been playing for a while now, and it’s been great, but it’s definitely not perfect. To begin NFLBlitz is not designed for the iPhone ten and parts of the screen is cut off, such as the search bar. Pack battles does have some problems. In addition, on the trade block, when you propose a trade and select a card with duplicates, unless you select all the duplicate cards, the trade doesn’t go through. Also, another problem with the trade is that when you are searching for cards from a specific team, it always also shows cards from other teams which completely ruins the purpose of the filter. Although it has many problems, it is still a great game, but it still needs a lot of work. (Username:TAKO)

I have thoroughly enjoyed NFLBlitz as well as meeting fellow football card collectors/traders/enthusiasts from around the world. I enjoy pack battles and trading while sitting around and the cardhunter when out and about! Seems to crash at most inopportune times like pack battle and trades but fortunately not during in app purchases like their Dunk app! ‘This and their Dunk app are only two apps I use several times a day! Hindsight, I would have stayed strictly Blitz and not given NBA DUNK a second look because of constant crashes including in app purchases leading to headaches, wasted time and to this point wasted money. NFL BLITZ IS A SOLID 5 in my opinion though. If you download look up STEVIEJ6 and I’ll make some favorable trades with my duplicates to help get you moving up!

Super fun and addictive and has all the cards and inserts from the actual products. Not very intuitive at first, but once you get the hang of it you can fly through. Still a few bugs with trading, but nothing you can’t deal with. What would put this over the top, would be if you can actually win real physical cards. Maybe have a 1:100 chance at a real card from a non-retail online only Blitz set. Then you can trade those and have Panini ship the actual cards after day collecting a pack of 5 physical cards. Just a thought and I’d bet millions more would play. I’d even pay $1 for an app like that.

I think that game is fantastic! Very fun and I love the concept of taking over stadiums and card hunter and pack battles. I think it can be improved though. Card hunter most definitely needs to be improved with more cards on the map and a bigger focus on that, that’s an awesome feature that can become great. Also I think there should be more ways to win coins maybe mini games or different daily chances, maybe a bonus wheel. Lastly I think it should be easier to search through your cards and see who you want to trade and keep. But all in all it is a great app, great job! Keep it up. NFLBlitz is ok but you would think that one thing that they would of fixed between gridiron and blitz is the trading. There are way to many steps that you have to do to trade. Every time you list a card you have to filter and search for it to only turn around and do the same thing for the next card. Even if you want to list more than one player from the set. Whoever responds to these reviews don't waste your time saying that you are working on it because it's been years and two apps and things are still the same. We all know that panini doesn't rush to make things right and Years to do so but NFLBlitz will not make it and all of the money people wasted will be there to look at because no one will be on NFLBlitz as all are leaving now anyway.

For anyone who was on Gridiron, that app was killed off and your account transferred to Blitz. However, your actual cards didn’t really transfer. The card backs are different and worthless for retired players, many images were downgraded, card counts way off (as in significantly increased), etc. It was a great reminder that you ARE NOT paying for the cards but for the entertainment value of NFLBlitz . So I would NEVER spend real money on NFLBlitz! Especially since there is very little entertainment value here! No Scavenger Hunt like before. No releases with awards to chase. Trading is cumbersome, if not almost impossible. App navigation is terrible, etc. I even stopped logging in daily to get coins hoping for an improved app because your daily streak resets for no reason- very glitchy app, stay away! And sad thing is Dunk is even worse!!!

I had several thousand Gridiron cards that never transferred to Blitz. I used same sign on and password as suggested. I have exchanged several emails with their support group. In all their emails they tell me the cards are there or ‘should be’ there. After several more emails inquiring about a resolve to this situation (as I truly enjoy the cards I spent a lot of money on) they have stopped communicating entirely. I would have more respect for them if they just said we don’t what happened to your cards and find a way to address their error. I understand errors happen but just to ignore me says a lot about a company. I’m hoping they reach out and address this error but until then I can not recommend Blitz. You could end up spending money and just have them lose your cards.

As a user since the beginning when it was Gridiron, I still miss the way it was. The new Blitz was horrible when it was released but has been improving as of late. the trading platform has improved but is still difficult to navigate. Many cards have errors like the backs not matching the front and cards counts don’t show on some. If Panini can fix all the little issues instead of flooding us with so many sets NFLBlitz could be fantastic. ~Anotherdbag

I like the game, but I wish you could actually do something with the cards. I wish there were more ways to get coins because the videos are not always working and the offer wall doesn’t have great offers. I like Pack Battles and I like the Case Breaks. I wish things could be a little cheaper. Rewards are kind of hard but I can work with them. Something convenient about NFLBlitz is that every 4 hours you get 500 free coins:

App is poorly run. Lags consistently. Very expensive. Went from gridiron to blitz. We lost all our cards and all our coins from the transition to the new format. They pretend like there coming but it’s been a month and not one word about it. I spent more money than I’d like to admit on gridiron and for what, to lose all my cards and all my coins! It’s complete trash. I should have stuck with Topps huddle. Everything is crazy expensive. I had coins saved up. There gone now. I will not play blitz. Will be deleting it after this review. I gave them a month to make things right and it’s only worse. I will be asking apple to refund every penny I put in to gridiron.

I love NFLBlitz. The only issues is whenever I am either opening packs or picking my team, it will sometimes crash and then I have to restart NFLBlitz , and also for the past 4 days my coin amount has been stuck on -959 coins, even though I won a total of 3000 coins in the mystery box, 250 coins in the live Contests, and have collected the daily reward as well as the bonus coins. My account name is JDOG2201. Fix these things and it will be back to 5 stars.
