Forced Subscription

You get the app, and while signing up, they ask for your banking info. You share your info and then once they’re tapped in to your bank, suddenly they force you to pick an app subscription option. Are you guys serious?? I lost all interest at that point bc the subscription should be in the first part of sign-up. After picking the 7-day trial after which $5.99 a month is pulled from my bank account option just to get past that screen in order to to delete my bank info, I then went to my settings and asked for my account to be deleted, then went into my Apple account and ended my subscription, then went into my iPhone storage and deleted the app. BUT the subscription is still showing up in the “active subscriptions” sections of my Apple account. If this app STILL charges me in 7 days, I stg... y’all are untrustworthy as h3ll smh

Good at what it does

It does what it’s suppose to do well, but today they bugged me. I use this app to track finances, not for nonsense. They asked me if I know Pokemon, but called them Pokemons, so I was interested in what type of questions they were asking about “pokemons” lol. The quiz asked me some of the most basic questions of the franchise, but after you answer you have to wait. In my disbelief, I went to text my friend about how ridiculous it was, but it turned out the quiz continued without me and by the time I came back I had missed a question, so I exited and failed. Obviously none of this matters, but it was annoying and extremely unnecessary to be apart of the Emma app. I hope there are no more “quizzes”. It doesn’t really make sense for someone to win money anyways. Especially from a helpful app. It kind of makes it seem like they feel that they to entice us to keep us using this app.

Doesn’t Connect to Chase and Poor Customer Service

I tried to connect my Emma account to Chase Bank, the world’s largest bank, and it would not work. I requested support and they said they would check into it. I spent over a week waiting and had to reach out to them first for an update, which they did not have. They did not even send a check in email to let me know they were still working on it. In addition, they have no online website and you can only do everything in the app. Would not recommend. Terminated my relationship with them.
