This is ridiculously riddled with commercial interruptions. We use our log in for the TV provider and that still doesn’t allow you to skip commercials. It’s even more annoying if you want to go rewind an episode you’re watching because you may go back too far where you’d be forced to watch the commercials again! It would be great if PopNow was smart enough to know you watch the commercials already. Furthermore, it’s a complete buzz kill trying to watch everything and being interrupted every 5 minutes. Lastly, if you’re going to force commercials down our throats the least you can do is provide a variety of commercials. It’s the same commercials over and over again episode to episode.

I would love PopNow so much if I could cast the shows to my tv but it appears this option is not available for the iPhone app. Without casting capability PopNow does not have as much utility because people prefer not to watch directly on the small phone screen.

I only got PopNow to keep up with the new season of One Day at a Time, love how everything is free. Only needs your tv provider and you’re good to go. I have had no issues with PopNow . There are commercials but that’s expected if PopNow is going to be completely free so it’s no big deal. Happy with PopNow . The design and layout could be better but that is just my taste.

Watched the first 6 episodes of a show yesterday, and other reviewers are right; there’s simply no way to turn off CC, BUT the most upsetting malfunction is that PopNow asks me to sign in with my Cable provider to watch the rest of the season. Absolute BS. And I don’t want a response like “you can still watch a number of shows for free.” The only reason I downloaded PopNow is to watch this ONE show. I’ll be deleting and telling everyone I know that they’ll just have to wait until the show is available on a legitimate streaming service. Two thumbs way down.

Literally just downloaded PopNow awhile ago and it was already having major freezing problems and only a certain amount of episodes of schitts creek able to view. I thought it would be more like the cw app but it asks for unnecessary requirements, I wanted to be able to catch up on my shows while I’m not at home but PopNow doesn’t allow you to do that unless you plug in your tv subscriber and I think that needs to be changed included the shows that are locked otherwise PopNow is pointless.

Seriously why have you not added one of the most popular cable providers yet!! I checked reviews and it has been over 6 months of people asking and your lazy response is to contact at&t. I pay for this monthly and should be able to watch on PopNow if it’s provided in our cable package!! Will delete until you get fixed!! And no I will not watch the free content to get hooked on something after only one episode to not be able to continue watching the series!!

God awful. Legitimately am loading episodes to watch, just to have it go to commercial and then continuously buffer and lose place in the episode. I go to reload it, and suddenly I get stuck in the middle of an earlier episode. Have to open the current episode just to sit through another 2.5 minutes of commercials. And then try to guess where the episode left off? I’m done with PopNow. It’s garbage.

I only downloaded this to watch One Day at a Time but I tried to watch the first few episodes and I spent more time watching commercials and waiting for it to load than I did actually watching my favorite show. I got too fed up and deleted PopNow . So sad this show was taken off Netflix. Please fix these problems, I had to restart the episode 6 times because it kept crashing my iPad

I was concerned with the bad reviews and almost didn’t get PopNow , but I’m glad I did. Yes you need to sign in to watch some episodes. Shocker, shows have licenses and not everything is free. PopNow does what it should. My only criticism is the lack of a screencast option.

I downloaded this to watch One day at a time. There was no problems with the video itself, but there was an excessive amount of adds and you can’t put it in full screen. If all the problems were fixed PopNow would be amazing.

Won’t allow me to watch past the first episode of schitts creek, season 5, as it makes you sign in with your cable provider to watch. I pay $200 a month for ATT U-Verse, one of the largest providers, and they don’t have it listed as a provider. Therefore, that’s an automatic delete of this terrible app, and my review can join all of the other terrible reviews PopNow has.
Also, how can you have direct tv as a provider, and not U-Verse? They are BOTH OWNED BY ATT!!!!

Downloaded PopNow so I could watch S6 of Schitts Creek. After watching the first episode it made me select my cable provider and login. Now when I go to select another episode it makes me do the same thing over again. In addition the navigation flakes out and won’t let me select anything (using Apple TV 4th gen). Wouldn’t recommend.

BUG THAT NEEDS FIXING: CC seem to be on as a default. When I turn them off and then press ‘Done’ to close the CC options menu and return to my show, it just kicks me back to the episode selection screen & the captions are on again when I click back into the episode I was watching

It will not let me watch the rest of this show because I have to choose a provider, however my provider is not one of the choices. I know it says (keyword says) I can still watch even if I don’t have a supported cable provider but that’s a bunch of BS. Looks like I will have to wait to watch the show when a trusted service can stream it.

I was over half way through an episode, already watched multiple commercials. I was having trouble hearing, so I went and turn on CC. However, it started the whole show over, I had to watch an opening commercial, then THREE MORE just to fast forward to where I was! I closed PopNow . I’m not that interested in the show to deal with that garbage.

Not everyone has speakers physically connected to their TV, so not being able to change the audio output is a real bummer. Please follow PopNow guidelines Apple laid out and allow AirPlay audio!

Also app is buggy, play/pause doesn’t work the first time unless you tap to bring up the playback scrubber.

Love ur app it’s amazing pls add AT&T tho and I’ll make sure ur app will be heard and start making more original shows add sum super hero shows or something that will make ur app pop out than others

I would give PopNow 5 stars if I was able to sign in as a Charter Spectrum subscriber to view the movies. However all other content is available for now, including Schitt’s Creek. When Charter is a sign in option, I’ll raise my rating.

Was great for a while but then after the first two episodes of season five they locked the episodes requiring you to have a TV provider login to see them. What’s the use of PopNow therefore? Just bought episode 3 on iTunes. No responses to my inquiries about this. Don’t advertise free viewing if it is not.

Read reviews and was hesitant but PopNow worked perfectly for me! I am watching on an iPad so not sure if it’s just best compatible on this devise

I just tried to watch an episode but after the commercials it would stop and I would have to watch commercials again to continue. I’m not sure if the same thing was going to happen again so I am watching something else.

There’s 22 episodes of Ghost Whisperer. Y’all need to fix it especially if there’s someone that hasn’t seen the first season. Also fix it so that way when you go back to PopNow you can continue exactly where you left off.

Very annoying trying to watch without words popping up and when you turn them off it just restarts the show with CC still on...

I was super excited about PopNow cause I’ve been wanting to catch up with Schitts Creek. PopNow simply doesn’t work! It freezes up on several different screens. I’ve tried restarting my phone with no improvement. I tried reinstalling, nothing. I have an iphone 7 plus btw if that matters. Hopefully they do an update soon and I can try it out again.

Stop constantly asking me to authenticate. You have my IP address and it's tied to my cable provider. There is no reason for me to spend 10 minutes and require a separate device every time I want to watch a show. The technology exists for all TV app providers to fix this, yet for whatever reason they don't fix it.

On Pop on TV, they have been showing the SAME episode of ER for ? I don’t know how long. It says this is one of the shows (certain episodes) we can watch for free—but it shows a few from Season 1 and they all have a “lock” on them. I’m probably not able to watch anything. So disappointed. :(

Would be nice if I could login with my U-verse account - I found out about PopNow while watching U-verse cable, so I don’t know why am app I can’t use would be advertised through my provider...
