About: Barometer and Altimeter is a simple application for measuring atmospheric
pressure and altitude. The application uses: - built-in GPS, - built-in
pressure sensor / barometer (if the device does not have a barometric sensor,
application retrieves atmospheric pressure data via the Internet from the
nearest meteorological station), - automatic altitude and atmospheric pressure
calibration algorithm, based on data from local mete.

About Barometer Altimeter Thermo

- automatic altitude and atmospheric pressure calibration algorithm, based on data from local meteorological stations.

Barometer and Altimeter is a simple application for measuring atmospheric pressure and altitude.

On these devices, the measurements may be less accurate as they will be based on data from the local meteorological stations.

- information and current weather data from your local weather station (if available).

Our Barometer and Altimeter tracker is easy to use, simple and handy.

Warning! Some portable devices (tablets, phones, smartphones) do not have a built-in pressure sensor.

Using this barometer tracker is simpler than using an aneroid or mercury barometer.

- humidity, hygrometer (if device is equipped with appropriate sensors).

Good app

Shows current pressure. Will show difference from the last time you opened BarometerAltimeterThermo .

I wish it showed whether the pressure is rising or falling, regardless of when the last time you opened BarometerAltimeterThermo . For instance, if the last time I checked pressure was Monday and I’m checking it on Friday, it displays the difference from Monday to Friday.

I would like to open BarometerAltimeterThermo and see the track it is on, rising or falling, not just the current pressure.

Pressure Drop

Should calibrate (red marker) at around 30/35 and as it falls the storm is coming (or something else…) and if it starts to rise back up to calibration, clear weather is on the way.
Setting it on “Station” and keeping location services on will send a relay via internet connections to the weather service.

Good app!

Good basic app for measuring barometric pressure on demand using your phone’s built in barometer. I like that they give you both station pressure (not adjusted for altitude) and sea level equivalent pressure (which is what most weather apps & websites give).

Would be great to have a pressure logging function in a future version.

Works good but needs to be accurate

This works good on my iPhone 11. However on my iPad Pro 10.5, the reading is way off to 20’ higher than the actual altitude. Both devices are running on iOS 14.3. This needs to be fixed for the iPad Pro 10.5.

Good tool for monitoring migraine/pressure changes.

I get bad headaches when the pressure drops rapidly, this gives me some hindsight and control over something otherwise outta control. Just one tool I use to help live as comfortable as I can with migraines. An essential tool!!

IPhone has a barometer?!

This is a simple app that takes advantage of the barometer I’m my iPhone, of which I was unaware it existed. This is the most accurate way to easily measure altitude at a current location and weather trends.

weather geek

when I feel the aches in my bones I like to check the barometric pressure 🤣 BarometerAltimeterThermo offers that and so much more!

Works well

I paid for BarometerAltimeterThermo. Would like to see a trend graph. Altitude would be helpful on the opening page. There are free apps out there that do all this. Haven’t seen an update in the months I’ve used BarometerAltimeterThermo.

Altitude not accurate.

Your app says I am 30 feet above sea level. Google maps says I am 13 feet above sea level. Alexa says I am 9.84 feet above sea level. Your app is definitely way wrong.

The barometer is accurate, and I enjoy using it.

Altitude is not accurate

I’ve found that at high altitudes, > 10k ft, BarometerAltimeterThermo is unreliable and just plain wrong. It seems that the highest altitude it will register is 13k ft when I’ve been much higher and compared it to the CoreLocation altitude it is way off. Do not use this for mission critical applications like hiking, climbing or mountaineering; it’s dangerously inaccurate

Not too shabby.

Seems to be spot on. Only wish it went out a few more places after the decimal point. If it did I would give it 5 stars.

Fast n easy

Nice way to tell when it is about to rain

Great app but……

Amazing app that is for the most part accurate but I wish it had a Notification Center that tells you if the barometer is spiking or dropping rapidly

By

Good but the UI is trash

Much of the UI and menus have white text on a white background or black text on a black background. If this could be fixed I’d rate 5 stars

Informative

Good information easy to understand

Accurate

I use BarometerAltimeterThermo for station pressure readings. Quick and accurate

Perfect

No nonsense. No geegaws. Beautifully simple and clear. Congratulations. Please work on an Apple Watch version.

Provide view that compares current pressure to sea level.

Great app. My wife suffers from high pressure headaches. Valuable to know when low pressure moves in but would like comparison baseline i.e. nearest sea level reading.

Good info

Fine

A fine app, accurate and easy to use. But if can measure to tenths of millibars why can’t it indicate to hundredths of inches of mercury?
