Having a good time in the garage with the boy drinking beer. Think we played 36 holes last night. No connection issues or any problems except putting would not register a swing some times. Not a big deal, and fun to practice with for sure. It’s far from perfect but it’s fun and after a golf lesson I do some practice swigs at work. I don’t think the face angle is reading right. I’m always on the plus side and it reads negative every time. Would be great if it explained what your motion should be or how you should be swinging. Any kind of lesson help would be awesome. No updates for a long time so not sure what’s going on with the company. Hope they continue to support and sell the set up it’s fun.

For the price of this golf simulator, I can tell you that it is worth buying. I’ve had a lot of fun playing this game, but there are some issues. 1. After playing for a while, the game seems to get more glitchy for my as the holes go on. Although this could be just from air playing it to my tv. Also, I have a lefty golf swing, but i am still not sure how to change it because the default is right handed. Because of this, my swing could be a little off sometimes. I’ve tried to look in settings for this, but still can’t find it. If anyone could help that would be great.

The this app app is decent and has moments where it’s fun to mess around with. The accuracy with the swing stick isn’t very good though. The distance is all over the place. The accuracy is pretty constantly off. Almost every shot starts out way right, which isn’t close to my real life trajectory at all.

I was excited for the WGT subscription, but that’s even worse. The distance on WGT is much more accurate, but the accuracy is awful. It’s to the point where I’ll probably cancel the monthly subscription even though it’s so cheap. Every time I try it I’ll get through 1 or 2 holes before it gets too frustrating to enjoy.

If I had to do it over again I probably wouldn’t have purchased the swing stick.

I have recently started encountering a lot of issues with swings not being detected and or being detected wildly incorrectly. If there was an update done recently, this might have caused a flaw of some sort. Right now the product isn’t very fun because of the inaccuracies or lack of shot detection.

12/22 Update- There was an update done to the sensor this past week and I’ve noticed a significant increase in accuracy. I’m now updating to 5/5 as it stands :)

6/14 Update- There was recently a software update (I wish they’d just leave it alone), that has totally thrown off swing speed and distances. For me, it’s basically unusable at this point, so I have to lower the rating to one star for now.

The software is very buggy at this point (Dec’17). The settings icon doesn’t respond to touch on iPhone X via any screen. Touch sensitivity seems to be off on every screen within PhiGolf . Roadmap is to add more games/features in 2018, but I suggest making the current features work correctly first.

The HW device works fine, but PhiGolf is of beta quality at this point.

Live the Phi Golf app to play locally with up to 4 friends. Works well overall, can be buggy when streaming to a TV but running from a phone can do that. I do see the developer responds to these. I have a couple of questions I hope they could answer. 1. Will there be additional courses anytime soon? 2. Will it ever be possible to play locally with more than 4 players at a time? Thank you!

When it works, it’s fun. Not the most accurate, but I expected that. What I didn’t expect is every time I go to turn it on, PhiGolf crashes, or the server is down, or something goes wrong to the point that it’s unusable. What’s worse is i bought it thinking I could play locally with the WGT extension by sharing the swing stick with people in my living room and we could all play the superior courses and graphics, but that is not the case.

I just want this thing to work so when I invite people over to play we can actually play! Right now I have a $250 stick that does nothing!

Also, fix your Apple TV app! That might solve a ton of issues on my end.

Its definitely fun and the WGT should make it awesome. You can tell they are working on sensitivity levels for the adapter. I think if you like golf it will be worth it no doubt but its not perfect. Keep working on it team its getting closer just a couple of things that will bring it to the version we desire. Obsession with OB? Can this read hard swings? Putting is really good one day, then on planet Mars the next. I assume this will get improved with or before the WGT installment.

While the motion sensor technology isn’t there yet and there are occasionally some issues with PhiGolf this is a super fun swing trainer. My friends and I use it all the time and always have a blast regardless of any issues!

If you think it’s going to behave like a $20,000 simulator you’re going to be disappointed. Enjoy it for what it is and you’ll notice some improvement on the course.

Y family loves this when it works... It always freezes. We had to return to original sensor to get a new one after playing just a few days. I can’t play on my Apple TV anymore because PhiGolf is frozen. I have uninstalled and reinstalled and it doesn’t matter. Works okay on my phone, but still issues. The putting is also very inaccurate and my son gets very frustrated. Again, this is a great idea and very cool when it works properly, but it just has too many problems and is not consistent.

Not normally a review writer but if I can prevent someone else from shattering their tv screen, or injuring a family member it’s worth it. The “indoor” club has a large magnet inside for weight distribution held in by a screw in top. I assume after repeated use and the magnet hitting the screw it works it’s way out of the thread. I learned this on my downswing when the magnet came free, creating a projectile that destroyed my tv. If someone was standing in the path they could have been seriously injured.

I could not find any method of getting in touch with this app to submit pictures.

Interesting app, visuals work and some extensive range of gaming with the player using a very realistic “club”.... app is all over the place, no idea what you are gong to get next and if it will be “accurate” in assessing your swing and “shot.” Our rechargeable “sensor” broke after a few dozen plays rendering the sensor and, as a result, everything else, useless. Without the sensor you will have a paperweight. Did I mention zero meaningful support as re the unresponsive app and the broken sensor? Good luck....

I really love the phi golf as an avid golfer living in the northwest with a tough winter season. Game play is fun and multiplayer is a good game with friends. Must remember this is a GAME not necessarily a swing improving tool. I noticed I played a lot in a few weeks and the swing on the game does not transfer to well to the real thing so just be careful your not working in to much muscle memory on the game. Would highly recommend!!

The this app app works like it should. Putting is a little hard, but so is putting on a $20,000 simulator. My issue is with the WGT part. It’s cheap, but you can’t play 18 on all courses and after awhile the online tournaments don’t work anymore; even though I get emails that I can play in tournaments. It’s fun within the phi app but the WGT app is horrible. I bought this for the WGT courses but can’t actually play most of them even after paying for the subscription.

Everything about PhiGolf and the simulator golf club that it is supposed to work with are awful. Non-existent customer service, an app that doesn’t work (it won’t let me register because of a “duplicate email” but when I click password reset it says I don’t have an email registered), and a WGT interface that only lets you play on one course only, with awful yardages and inconsistent game play. One of the worst total experiences I’ve had in recent memory.

PhiGolf worked just fine for a long time, but recently, the Apple TV, iPad, and iPhone app have all stopped working properly. Previously, I reached out to customer service as I couldn’t get the Apple TV app to load past the loading screen, even after deleting and re-installing. It randomly started working while waiting for a response. Now, two weeks later, none of the apps are working and haven’t for 3 days. No idea what’s going on here!

For this price range it is very adequate. I find attaching it to my real club works much better. No issues with PhiGolf and connectivity with sensor. Great way to get swings in at night or during off season. Also quite fun, putting can be hit or miss, but doesn’t take away from the overall enjoyment!

The new update tells you what your swing was like and I played it for about an hour for a few days and I adjusted what it told me and now I can hit straighter. It is really realistic and helped my real life golf swing.

PhiGolf was pretty fun to begin with but a bit clunky. But through recent updates they sure cleaned up the UI and they added the tutorial, which makes it real easy for the first timers.

Please make it so that I can Apple AirPlay to a smart TV and an option for an avitar. Thanks!

This game is great to play with friends, especially when you mirror PhiGolf to a big screen. I also think the ability to aim your shot by rotating the device is pretty cool.

Get the WGT subscription and connect to a large screen TV and suddenly you have a great simulator experience on amazing golf courses. Fun for every age without destroying your house by hitting a real golf club.

Love it! Was already a WGT player, great graphics and good courses. Now with my this app sensor and a projector, I’ve got a nice simulator in my garage for super cheap!!!!! this app sensor is solid accuracy, found it to be very true to life compared with much more expensive stuff.

Just got this today, PhiGolf doesn’t work on any device I’ve tried. Just keeps saying it needs an updated version but it is the most updated version. Completely not usable, now I have to return it. Really big disappointment.

My 7 yo has trouble getting the stick to register because he is not able to hold the stick steady enough to start. Probably necessary for the sensor but would be good to have a kid mode.
