Zen Flip Clock - Minimal Timer Reviews

Like a couple others have mentioned, it works great (not just good) as a peaceful, informative clock/calendar widget —but for some reason it doesn’t keep accurate time with the system clock or even its own expanded clock when you click on the widget. It seems to gradually lose 2-3 seconds every minute until you open ZenFlipClock and apparently “synch” the widget with the correct time. For all intents & purposes I’d give ZenFlipClock a 5-star rating if this function worked properly, but am only awarding 3-stars because a clock that can’t keep time is antithetical. Please, please fix this issue and let me enjoy this elegant app as it’s supposed to work. 🙏

I really enjoy ZenFlipClock! It’s super aesthetic and cute! I have noticed however, that when using guided access in the control center, to mimic the feel of it being my lock screen, once I exit ZenFlipClock it makes the hour and minutes on top of each other and I have to delete and reset my iPad in order to get it back to normal. Is this normal?

I love ZenFlipClock, I’ve been using it for quite a while now and it been working fine for me! But one thing I suggest. Is it possible to add a alarm to wake up or for etc? I’ve always been thinking about writing this type of review, now I’ve finally gotten to the point were I really wanted to shout this message out.

if you’re still thinking about getting stop thinking, and get it. if you have a time getting up in the morning like i do then get ZenFlipClock . first of the missions are amazing! they’re the only the reason i can because they wake me up, and are what get me out of bed!

This is a great app. I started using it about a year ago and i still use it to this day. The only reason i put 4 stars is because the text on screen is a bit hard to understand. I assume it is translated, but i have trouble understanding things when they are not worded super well. Other than that small thing, it is an overall amazing app!

I was reading reviews from people before I purchase it and I'm seeing that ZenFlipClock developer is rude to the one star reviews and he doesn't accept the fact that it went bad for them like...."one star review for a good app" and stuff like that.
You should be a little bit more nice
But over all it does what it says so yeah no hate all love <3

It’s simple, beautiful and function extremely well on all my Apple devices, iPhone, iPad and Apple TV. Personally, I am big fan of the minimalist design and how smooth the animated transition is. I use it for various things such as kitchen clock or wall clock at my house. Try for yourself.

I love the look of ZenFlipClock as a home screen widget, only problem I have is the clock seems to fall behind sometimes by 30+ minutes untill I click on the widget and it updates. I hope in a update for ZenFlipClock they fix this issue :)

I love the previous design of mid size widget. lol, which is just a simple bigger flip clock. Please add it back as an option I can choose from.
Also a small bug, in the new mid size widget design, it shows Sat(11/7) when it is still Fri(11/6) here in US. I guess it is a time zone mistake.

ZenFlipClock helps me when I have to read. It has no adds or nothing like that. It shows you the date,time, and more. I would suggested ZenFlipClock. This is the best one out of all of them. I wish the could so it on a lock screen tho. Bye

I really like how simple the clock and pomodoro are. Pity that so many people gave one star reviews just because the developer is not nice to people. This is a free software and it does its job. Hope the developer will keep ZenFlipClock going.

very aesthetically pleasing! i adore that there's a pomodoro feature. i would prefer if there were a way (or an obvious way if it already does exist) for us to pause and continue the timer when we want to. for example, it's sometimes startling to have the break begin automatically rather than starting it manually myself. when i switch to pomodoro mode, i would love to be able to press some sort of 'start' button so i can prepare myself before having the 25 minutes begin. otherwise, it's a nice looking app with nice features. thank u!

It is so simple- just a clock, pomodoro timer, and stopwatch and it’s literally perfect. Cute widgets, super aesthetic. I’d love it if you could switch the color theme from just black and white but honestly I don’t care that much, it’s exactly what I was looking for

Great, cute app. Can you please support light mode in widget as well? I purchase the pro version to have light mode in widget, it turns out light mode only works for the actual app. Also, the date in large widget is wrong, but in the actual app the date shown is correct.

I use ZenFlipClock all the time! I use it while I’m doing school and on a trip! I found ZenFlipClock on tiktok and it looked really cool and aesthetic to my pleasing. It’s very help full and it has cool features. I really recommend ZenFlipClock than the regular clock app

I can’t lock the rotation screen on the 12 mini. Also won’t display entire time when in widget mode. Enjoy the coffee even though I cant use ZenFlipClock .

I love everything about ZenFlipClock except being able to change the amount of time that is on the timer or is this user error?

Simple, no ads, very aesthetic, I like that you can display with or without the seconds clock

I think we would all love for the wall paper option but hopefully iOS will support that soon!

i love ZenFlipClock! unlike all of the other flip clock apps, this one is free with no ads disturbing the vibe. i also LOVE how you can change it between black and white- its so aesthetic ! i will use this forever! thank you!!!

Love the pomodoro/clock aspect of ZenFlipClock - I just wish we could also pause the pomo timer for things such as going to the bathroom and then restart it when we come back!

Well for IOS you can’t add it as your background :( really sad I just open ZenFlipClock and leave it hoping that my brother doesn’t go through my phone :/ but anyway AMAZING APP!! totally recommend
