Anki OVERDRIVE: Fast & Furious Reviews

Great game overall but after spending a couple hundred would have rather bought a game one the phone or a 100 of them for the same price. Biggest concern is that they never updated to iPhone X screen size it’s been like half a year since it came out, come on guys. Next they never update the game I mean like change how it looks it’s had the same look since the original Anki maybe a little has changed on the fast and furious version but still the same. And the guard rails may I suggest that their be pieces of magnets one the outside/inside of the tracks and the guardrails just magnetize on the their. Would take way less time to but back on after the super truck hits it or even any car for that matter. If it’s going to fall of make it easy to put it back on in seconds not 10-20 sec. Overall great game just got boring because nothing is new and it’s hard to find lvl 3 stuff in the store spent a lot of money refreshing. Please update it make it look better and enjoyable to play also Change the music when you go into the game it’s pretty annoying to listen to it thanks for the game.

Hyperspeed Mode is great and delivers on the promise this game always had to be “slot cars on steroids”. No weapons, no support but thrilling and exciting - you have to earn wins with precision throttle control. Further smoothing out steering back to the days of 2.6.2 and prior would help even more but this is a good addition! Steering has gotten closer to this recently but is still not fixed!

The big problem is that multiplayer games crash at the finish line for everyone except the ‘creator’. Joiners are stuck and require a new session or a restart, plus they earn no coins and no points. Shouldn’t have been released this way. Same problem in original Overdrive app.

**WORKAROUND** Game creator has WiFi and BT ON. Joiners WiFi on but BT off. Host invites them even though their devices say NOT READY. Game will play (to the human eye) normally. Anki has this in their bug backlog to correct but ETA unknown.

Neither of my cars ever last more than the track scan, and when they do, (which is rare) they always dies before completing a lap. I’ve tried the official troubleshooting guide, which consisted of saying: put them on the other side of the start / finish line backwards, create a new account, and try moving them back and forth before you begin the scan. They didn’t really have any suggestions for any of the problems we were experiencing, such as batteries not lasting, cars disconnecting randomly, and disconnecting whenever they touch the other. I’m not sure if it was that I got a dud. Or if this product just needs a lot of work that the creators are neglecting. It’s an overall good game, it just needs, and I cannot stress this enough.... ALOT of work.

Absolutely trash. Doesn’t even work. And get this, LAST UPDATE WAS TWO YEARS AGO. The money was absolutely not worth it. We are heading to return it at KOHLS right now. Anki also has gone out of business. The worst slot car racing track ever. May have been good two years ago, but it is definitely not now. All the good reviews are scams, I am warning you.. DO NOT BUY IT! Here are the details: Keeps on disconnecting, when I scanned for the first time it never ended. And that’s all it, it’s more fun watching them scan than it is watching them race. Anki, please stop selling this, your scamming people. It’s bad. Do not buy, especially for a gift.

This track is awesome!!!!!! The way my son’s face lit up whenever he tore the wrapping paper and saw what was underneath it on Christmas Day is priceless!!!!! We are racing right now! But the guardrails do not stay put. This is our ONLY complaint! How can you design something so innovative whenever it comes to a racing track, but have no imagination whenever it comes to making sure the guardrails stay in tact? This is my only reason for not giving this the ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ it deserves!!!!

Hi I love AnkiOVERDRIVE it is so much fun me and my dad had lots of fun with this I have bought the fast and furious starter kit and the regular starter kit the skull is not working tho it does like 6 laps then disconnects but other that that it works perfectly I love it so much and will be buying more cars. 🏎 one more thing how do you connect cars I connect them then I go to my cars and it’s not there

This game is a dream for racing fans. Whether you like slot car racing or video games, this game has it all. The fighting and weapons are variable and exciting. The racing is thrilling and the special effects are mind blowing. Really love playing this game with my teen and younger kids. It even has a “balance mode” so it’s fair for all ages.

Cars go off course a lot. Battle just about impossible. Software that lets cars track the course is very cool otherwise. Anki support has been good. Goal updating is inconsistent. Left goal updates immediately on completion. Otherwise it never updates. Middle and right goals update after 24 hours whether completed or not. Tournament mode is called Campaign in this version. Some goals can only be met with cars only available in Starter Edition

Ok I got nuke and phantom nuke today and the launch kit followed by speed kit and I had the two fast and(I do not know how to spell it) cars and I had the AI on and I pressed scan and it did not stop scanning and then the batteries went dead.I like your products and I have a cozmo to and i love it! Keep the on the good work!

The Fast and Furious edition is not bad, but adds virtually nothing to the standard game. It's also somewhat broken, and will never be fixed unless Digital Dream Labs fixes it. One of the campaign missions is broken and can never be completed, preventing 100% completion. All-in-all, not bad, but you'll be better off with the regular version; the Fast and Furious cars and tracks are compatible with it.

I really enjoy this for my kids but until the Hyperspeed option became available it lacked the difficulty to keep me engaged. I hope it remains a permanent part of the game instead of “a limited time” only.

I have an iPhone 8 and my cars disconnect they will never get a full charge it’s like the charger is junk or something my ice charger takes longer but it’s the same they both die somewhere between 2 minutes and 1 minutes so please reply and reel me how to fix this and thanks for reading my response

I’ve played overdrive for a while now, and I’m in the market to buy Big Bang, but the problem is when I go to the anki store, it always says that the connection is wack even when I am sitting right next to my router. Developers, could you fix this issue please?

OK so the game starts from being baby easy when you start on the bronze tier. Then when you get to the silver tier it starts to get challenging at the end of the silver tier but then when you get to gold tier the game started to get hard and the final person, Crush, is really OP with her weapons on the Ice Charger and can one shot me and can easily win. Anki, can there be an update where you can make Crush from the golden tier not OP anymore. ‘Cause its causing a problem.

It is fun for 2 seconds then you realize that you are just holding down a button while cars fly off the track. You would use it once then never again. You don’t even steer, you just hold an accelerate button and wait till it ends. There should at least be a joy stick in which you can control your car, but their Isn’t. For the record, Anki (company that made this) is now out of business. What does that show?
