Skywall Pro - HD+ Wallpapers Reviews

I really don’t understand how as a developer you can build out screens and functionality for an ‘edit’ feature and forget to include any way to progress OR cancel. How do you not walk through your own app a single time, even just so your own work isn’t for nothing, if not for the sake of UX quality??

I’ve had SkywallPro for months and there’s been no fix to the unfathomable omission that forces you to kill SkywallPro in order to leave edit mode (killing any edits with it).

On the plus if you’re aware of this and NEVER touch that edit button, the stock wallpapers are nice and there’s a good selection of them.

SkywallPro has a great interface that's easy to use and has useful categories/features; you scroll down to view more wallpapers which is intuitive. There are nice categories such as "Hot", "Random," and "Recents" for example. I like how the wallpapers are high quality and how you can preview how they will look like with some apps over them by clicking on them before you save them. The only issue I've run into so far is SkywallPro crashing multiple times as I've scrolled down the wallpapers.

This has a lot of really nice wallpapers for iPhone and iPad. And it’s great that there’s no subscription. It just worries me a little that it hasn’t been updated in a year. It works great for me though right now.

As others have noted, you can’t get out of edit mode without restarting SkywallPro , and you lose all your edits.

SkywallPro also crashes on its own sporadically. There doesn’t seem to be any pattern to it.

But the capper, now I’m getting plagued with full screen noisy advertisements. I have the PRO version, it’s not supposed to have ads.

Developer, don’t just tell me to restart SkywallPro like I’ve seen you tell other reviewers. Even if that “fixes” things temporarily (it doesn’t), you’ve still got some serious problems that need to be addressed. Your app is very nice, well thought out, easy and fun to use, but all I see are those bugs. They render SkywallPro to be pretty much useless. I hope you will get it fixed soon and I’ll be happy to give you the five stars that SkywallPro deserves.

Give us some grids. I don't want to keep scrolling and scrolling and scrolling; I have better things to do with my time and it gives me a headache. I don't know how you've lived this long and haven't heard of thumbnails or a choice of view sizes.

Frankly, I just quit. I make my lock screen etc. but thought I'd give this a try but it's just not worth it unless it's to sell my own work.

Finally, after checking out dozens of wallpaper apps, I’ve found the one that is perfect for me. No ads, lots of choices, and real pics rather than all of the “fluff” that’s usually so prominent in others. Thank you!

If you edit a photo in SkywallPro, you need to restart SkywallPro to get out of edit interface. Of course you’ll lose whatever you changed in the pic. 😔

A stand alone product with Exceptionally nice photos as a wallpaper but in conjunction with other photo apps you can do amazing things with these pictures.

SkywallPro is a great idea and I’ve enjoyed looking through the photos, but now all it does is crash. It hasn’t been updated in 10 months and they have another one that you have to purchase. If the free app keeps crashing, I’m certainly NOT going to spend money on the other.

TO THE DEVELOPER ... If you’re not going to keep the free app updated, just do away with it and I’ll move on to another app that does the same but is free. RIDICULOUS!!!!

I have the pro version , and I’m getting adds!!!
Both my iPhone and my iPad have this issue, it keeps crashing as well can you please fix this problem please!

Just uninstalled and reinstalled and I’m still getting adds on my pro version please update SkywallPro and remove the adds!

SkywallPro is the best. I love to just scroll through the pictures. They are beautiful and it is hard to choose just one.

Edit function didn’t have a save button for the longest time and the developers don’t respond. I just opened it today and it has one now! Yay! Thank you app people!

No more scrolling through pictures on the internet to find wallpapers! All these picture are GORGEOUS and I can’t decide which pictures to use first!

Awesome wallpaper, but absolutely loaded with advertisements, and also there’s no way to save edits for some reason.

Also, I’m not quite sure what the point of the “Pro” version is, since it has a bunch of pop up ads and banner ads. Shouldn’t this version be ad-free?

As per other reviews, out of the blue I am now forced to view full-screen ads when trying to select wallpapers. However, I have Skywall Pro! 🤦‍♂️

Outside of the fact that the wallpapers have not been updated much (at all?) since I purchased SkywallPro over a year ago, I do really enjoy it, but this ad issue needs to be resolved ASAP.

If you try to apply any editing, the dismiss (“x”) slides off the top but is not retrievable after you are finished editing. You must crash out without the effect applied and the image saved with those edits.

Fix that and you have 5 stars.

I can save Skywall images to my phone & then open & edit them in Photos. If I open Skywall, select an image, choose a filter, I'm unable to do anything else. I can still play with filters but there's no way for me to return to another menu. I have to force quit SkywallPro . Please tell me why SkywallPro doesn't give any options to save or go back.

From the first time I reviewed the photos and art work, I was hooked!!! Great selection to choose from. Keeps my lock screen interesting!

I acquired this as a paid app free for one day. I get notices on my IPhone that new wallpapers are available. I would pay for it if I had too. Very good addition to my app collection!

Easy to use nicely designed interface. The rating box brought me here while I wish the developer respected my choice in settings where I decided not to show ratings messages.

Nice pics. But when you go to edit. You can’t save it or go back to do any other edits. The X (close) and the Save icons both disappear when you click a category of editing. I have to force close SkywallPro just to get back to the main page again.

There’s something here for everyone’s tastes. These wallpapers fill up the iPad screen and they are good quality photos. Very pleased!
