I used to have an account and now I’m coming back to give this a try. I tried using “forgot my password” and it appears my account was deleted, which is fine. I tried creating a new account by importing my Apple Health info, and afterwards TB12 just becomes unusable. I’m unable to create a new account and everything within TB12 fails to load only after I successfully import my Apple health info is when TB12 will load the interface, otherwise it would remain on a blank screen. I have the latest build. Once this issue is fixed, I will give it another try and update my review.
I wouldn’t say TB12 is really focused on performance. It’s got Tom Brady’s branding which helps give the sense of credibility. But once you open TB12 , first things you see are 1) buy all these equipment products 2) buy all these meal plans 3) buy all these supplements. You don’t need all these products and plan to become a “peak” athlete. A hard work attitude and a simple budget can get you there just as well. Just because of Brady’s image doesn’t mean this plan is superior than others.
I joined the this app program at the end of the 2022. Since then my overall health and fitness has improved through adapting this app method to my life style. The hydration counter, meal plan, and workout through the this app App have been extremely beneficial to achieving a sustainable routine.
Following a recent update, I am unable to continue in the workout plan due to post workout pliability section incompleteness. Please correct the programming error!!
This review is from a non subscriber who is new to TB12 . Upon setup the application makes it easy to enter in your first name, height, weight and account information. After setting up your account or logging in users can begin to navigate the interface. Focusing on design of the menu interface TB12 is easy to use as well to look at with the bright red this app trademark color blending in with the white grayish tone. TB12 is swift when navigating and never sluggish. While providing a wealth of content TB12 is also never confusing to use. TB12 provides article and video content in exercises, diets and products to purchase in a integrated format. this app provides a free trial as well so it is worth a download for those interested.
I love this method. I think TB12 is very solid and I’d give it 5 stars if it included a little more that would make it perfect. Just some suggestions I hope they consider.
1. Maybe a heads up how to have bands set up before workouts, especially if using a doorway anchor. There are times I have to pause the workout because I don’t get enough time to adjust everything in between exercises which can be a little annoying.
2. I like that it has customized workouts for sports, but I wish it also included a therapeutic section or even a career customized workout too. Obviously a disclaimer that you should see a doctor, but I wish it had a section for preventatives of something that comes up with people often. Like a section for preventing/treating chronic back pain, knee pain, tendinitis etc. it would be good for people that have been treated by a therapist, but also want to prevent the issue from coming back.
Just my 2 cents. I love this method though and TB12 is worth it.
At first I was not to impressed with the free version of TB12 but the more I use it the more I like it.
I have incorporated some of the exercise into my kettlebell workout and have seen real results.
New workouts and information every week. So stick with it.
I’m a new user and I’m pleased with TB12 for it’s workout and video instructions but disappointed that it doesn’t support Family Sharing as it says it does in TB12 Store. It would be nice if my wife could use TB12 and personalize her training without the need for a 2nd subscription. My 2 inquiries to their customer support on this subject have gone unanswered. (They only offer email support)
It’s a great work out and it’s a great concept my only issue is that it continuously repeats workouts once I’ve completed them I’m not sure if this is a bug or what’s happening but after I complete a workout the next day the same work out will populate this happens frequently and it’s very frustrating.
First, it only does the TB 12 workout so if you are looking for a general workout app look elsewhere. It has a tone of sports specific workouts that use the TB 12 gear which I like. The workouts consist of a rollout, 3 workouts that vary by week and day, and a final rollout. The lady talks you through them so you can listen on an airbud and occasionally glance at at video to make sure you are doing it right. It integrates with health so other apps know about the data. It is a program though so no customization but overall if you want the this app workout walkthrough it does the job. You’ll be fit for the sport you’re training for.
I use TB12 and my subscription to get smoothie recipes to keep variety with my choices for plant or whey protein meals using a variety of fruits and vegetables. Great way to boost the immune system and fuel my workouts and daily activities. I particularly like the Orange Coconut Smoothie and one made with cooked sweet potato.
TB12 is ok. Not what I would imagine an elite athlete nor one to the playing caliber of the ‘greatest of all time’ would use. I suspect this is geared towards the average joe. Nike Training Club (Apple App Store) or Core Performance is much more challenging and similar.
I’ve been working out for over 20 years, and I must admit that making the mental leap from lifting weights to only doing resistance band training 2-3X a week was hard to make. Since I’ve invested the time in consistent this app training, my body is more injury-resistant, I’m more balanced and flexible, and am able to compete with tennis players 10-20 years younger than me at a high level. This is not a fad, but a long-term lifestyle change that can benefit athletes at any age or fitness level. Whether you buy the products sold through TB12 or not is up to you.
After just looking at TB12 I became 6,4 225 pound man I can run 40 yards in 5.28 seconds!!!(the fastest possible time btw) my vertical is 24.5 inches(the highest a person has ever gotten off the ground) don’t let me get started on my impressive shuttle time
I had back issues for a long time until I started to commit to incorporating bands into my routine. Follow TB12, absolutely perfect, no back issues for 10 years.
I started this program after four years of eating garbage and not doing any kind of exercise. It’s a challenge, but in a good way. Looking forward to seeing the results in the next few months.
The workouts are challenging and you get a lot done in about an hour. The variety is good and I like the weekly check in to make adjustments. I only have two minor nitpicks:
1. The weekly check in resets the schedule and doesn’t always give you the right number of recovery days. I do 5x a week but the schedule changes before my second rest day.
2. It would be nice if TB12 could integrate some basic data (height/weight) and your goals to see your progress and give you pointers.
But that shouldn’t take anything away, I have been doing these for 7 weeks now and the results are great. Give it a try.
Have been trying to get into this app Method for a while but haven’t really understood the complete holistic view of it. TB12 is the perfect companion to keep you on track with workouts and the grocery list is the best as I was really lost when it came to the diet portion of the method. Would highly recommend for anyone looking to get into this app Method.
TB12 is the single greatest creation to have ever been created. Coded by what I can only assume was god himself. The this app method turned me from a 4’11” 98 lb nerd, to a 6’6” 230 monster of a human. It’s a free app. It’s like stealing. I have more friends since I downloaded TB12, I have more confidence, all my wealth I have accumulated ( 2 billion dollars) is because of TB12. Thank you Tommy, your as good an app creator as you are a quarterback, and a heartthrob.
The principles in the this app Method are just sound advice. Reduce or remove processed foods from your diet, drink your daily quota of water each day, build functional strength, etc.. There’s a lot more advice in there. But it’s all along these lines. It’s all very sensible. It can all be applied to you regardless of your age. And most importantly, it all works.
I wanted something I could do for decades. A lifestyle. I didn’t want to be a gym rat for a few years until I burned out. This is the best answer I’ve found.
TB12 is finally something that creates a specific workout to me! I play hockey and the workouts so far have been spot on for hockey movements. My professional background is in athletic training and the info in TB12 has seriously taught me some things to use in my own practice. Well done!!
TB12 is way below par. You might expect that all the marketing dollars, and the premium prices for all the associated components, would come along with a really seamless, well researched app - that’s not the case. For one, the tutorials for the exercises and the interaction required is clunky. I think this app could have learned so much from other workout apps doing it right - like Results for example. Second, even after you get through the workout it doesn’t save your progress - which is a glitch I brought to the attention of the support staff and which they acknowledged but said I needed to update TB12 - but it didn’t fix the problem. They didn’t offer any other solutions and took two weeks to reply to my initial message. Very disappointing app and products - wait for them to work out the glitches.
As an Ironman Triathlete I’m happy to see the three phases of the sport in TB12. However, a triathlete specific selection would be better than selecting swimming, biking or running individually. I’m staying tuned and haven’t gotten too far in to TB12 . Looks good.
These workouts are intense and you get your heart racing and blood pumping. I am sore and tired after but next day don’t feel that weight lifting burn and am ready to go again.
The interface is extremely user friendly, clean, and helps me stick to my goals. Stop reading this and download it now!
Tom Brady is 40 and still absolutely demolishing the league, if he does even 1/10 of these then I want to also. What else could you possibly need?
TB12 is very safe to use.
