Good, but a few details

I like SubscriptionManager so I upgraded to add all my subscription. Customization options for subscriptions icons available, including colors, icons, even pictures stored in the phone.
However, I have found a few issues. When creating subscription icons with my phone's pictures as a background, after saving the icon picture will appear as a single solid color, similar to those of the picture, instead of the image selected.
This also happens when creating a subscription icon with default icons included in SubscriptionManager ; in this case after selecting a color it switches to a random one, such as purple after selecting yellow in one of my icons.
Finally, scrolling through the screen in which a few popular subscriptions are listed, my phones performance slows progressively as I scroll down the screen.
Overall great app, definitely recommend it.

Gets the job done

Bug: Categories tab is still not working. I can assign my subs to categories but when i go to the categories tab it only shows the default category instead of listing all my categories.

SubscriptionManager is great. Love it. The developers r very responsive to questions/complaints/suggestions etc. They r often improving it. They just added widgets. I don’t know wth people r complaining about price for. It’s a one time payment instead of yet another a stupid sub to add to ur list of subs. U get to try app out a lil then if u like it pay for whole thing and it’s urs(b sure to tip once in a while tho if u like).

Keep in mind that u have to manually enter all ur sub info. It doesnt link to accounts to track any changes in due date or price changes. So any changes on ur subs like due date or price also need to b changed in SubscriptionManager manually.

If u want some over complicated auto updating bill tracker app then go pay for a monthly sub for Mint or something and quit complaining about SubscriptionManager. I wanted a simple easy to understand app like this to keep track of what subs i have. That’s exactly what i got.

Requires subscription to manage your subscriptions; hilarious irony

What I like is that you don’t have to link your bank account to SubscriptionManager , which is exactly what I was looking for, as other apps that I’ve tried were requiring that. There are lots of customization options to help you personalize each subscription you have. You can add virtually any kind of bill that you have! You’re not limited to the popular/well-known companies with subscriptions.

What’s the deal breaker for me is that you can only save up to 2 bills before having to pay for more ($4.99 or $9.99). I think I can manage 2 subscriptions on my own without app assistance. I don’t want to shell out even more money to keep track of 3+ bills. It would be nice if they could bump it up to 5 free slots, at least. But if you’re willing to pay, SubscriptionManager would be great for you!

custom logos are challenging

Sure, you could just put all your subscriptions into a spreadsheet or something but SubscriptionManager makes the process easy and oddly satisfying. Many popular services are built in, and it’s easy to add your own. SubscriptionManager does a nice job of calculating your monthly subscription expenses and will alert you when something is due to renew. Very handy!

The one thing that is a little hard with custom added services is that to get the logo to display correctly you have to get one with a transparent background (PNG instead of JPEG), which is not always easy to find. Would be nice if it could just throw a solid background behind a JPEG if necessary.

Excellent app for the price

I love being able to see how much money is needed for the remaining month and being able to arrange subscriptions by due date. There are a few other features I'd like, like being able to mark what is set to autorenew and in free trial status. Still, for the price and not requiring a subscription, SubscriptionManager is amazing and more helpful than some of the more expensive ones I tried.

App appears abandoned?

I was looking for a good subscription manager and on the surface SubscriptionManager seem to contain the features I needed. However I did see that the last update for SubscriptionManager was over a year ago. That gap is typically a red flag that SubscriptionManager was abandoned. Ignoring this, I installed SubscriptionManager and paid the tip to get multiple subscription entries.

About 10 subscriptions into my entries, I started to encounter bugs that I felt were important enough to report. I reached out to the company and never received a reply. It’s pretty much confirmed to me that SubscriptionManager is no longer being supported.

Sadly, this is why apps have to have subscriptions, which keeps the developer motivated. If the future changes and the developer comes out of hiding to continue supporting SubscriptionManager, I'll change my review.

Best App for what I need it for.

I was looking for an app that allowed me to see all of my expenses without the hassle of paying a monthly fee just to see them all in one place. I stumbled upon this one and I gave it a shot. Instantly it was already better than all of the other apps that I had. I immediately decided to get the premium just so I could support the cause...👌🏾

Simple, I love it

I’ve been the type of person to download any apps for quick expenses or subscriptions and this is the only thing that truly helps me now I didn’t pay for the full account so I do wish I had notifications that can give me likeMonthly or weekly you know notifications but other than that it’s a grate at

Slick, really clears things up.

Helps lay all my bills out to view on one page, which is really nice. I was getting very confused about what was charged/withdrawn where/when. I got rid of the default categories and just used my own, which divide each bill by debit withdrawal, credit charge, and Google vs Apple accounts.

Just what I needed!

In this day and age of subscriptions out of our butts- TOO MANY TO DEAL WITH? I was seeking a solution, and SubscriptionManager was it. Simple, brilliant interface and gave me just the push I needed to take better control of my finances. Would recommend to anyone trying to manage subscriptions of any type, and even offers custom options for more visual folks

Disappearing Subscriptions

Every time I update my iOS software, my subscriptions get erased from SubscriptionManager . I have tried all of the troubleshooting suggestions. I really liked SubscriptionManager and some of it’s features, but having to re-enter every single one of my subscriptions each time there’s a software update, is ridiculous. Especially considering I am paying for SubscriptionManager. I reached out to customer support a few times about this issue, but I still haven’t heard back.

Wish there was family share

SubscriptionManager is great but there does not seem to be any mechanism for sharing with my spouse except with the .csv option (which is pretty beat). Also can’t even sync it easily between iPad and iphone on same account. The iCloud sync needs some work. Also wish there was a desktop version. Would gladly pay more for these features because the UI is great.

Great app!

Gets done pretty much everything I need it to. One suggestion I have might be to add a button to mark some subscription as paid for the current billing period. Would be really handy if you pay an annual fee early for example and would like to see that reflected.

By

Simplistic!!

I LOVE SubscriptionManager ALREADY! I bought the extra version within five a minute of having it. It’s so simplistic but so helpful and has a very friendly user interface! I wish you could create like a second alert or a third alert as well as some memberships charge a yearly fee as well. (Like gyms for example)

This app is amazing!

I love SubscriptionManager! If I could give it 6 starts I would, but I do have a suggestion and I do hope somehow I could get to y’all. I wish there was a widget that you could add that showed all of your subscriptions like in-app but on the widget itself. Idk maybe it’s me being nit picky, but I feel like It would be a really cool and neat feature.

App has great Potential

I love its simplicity. The logos and branding are neat and makes it way easier to identify what is what. The customization option is great but needs a little tweaks and also should upload more companies/brands. Great app overall, keep it up!

It was great, until it wasn’t.

I downloaded SubscriptionManager for the sole purpose to be reminded of upcoming charges and payments. I was distraught to find out that I wasn’t contacted about upcoming charges. The only purpose of SubscriptionManager was to remind consumers of their subscriptions yet, I wasn’t. I pay around 2.99usd a month for SubscriptionManager to remind me, and the least it can do is send a notification to me before I get charged. Now I have negative 9 dollars in my bank account. I’m upset that I will be having to pay a 35usd overcharge payment due to SubscriptionManager neglecting to inform me.

Great way to track subscriptions..

All those subs add up and SubscriptionManager makes it easy to see how much you are spending. Easy to setup.
I gave it 4 stars as it lacks a backup and restore function. Also it could have more flexible renewal times. But these lacks don’t keep this from being a very good app.

Used to be great, now fantastic! [Edit: Not anymore]

SubscriptionManager used to be just ok, but with the addition of new features such as sorting and showing custom total values it’s been fantastic.

One point of feedback is to retain the bills due even after they are due, and then provide the user with the ability to make bills as “paid”. For example, if I have a monthly rent that was due yesterday, SubscriptionManager should retain the rent line that says “Due Yesterday” until I swipe on it to mark it as paid. This will allow me to accurately keep track of what’s paid and what’s not.

Keep up the good work!

Edit: SubscriptionManager has been broken for more than 6 months for me now. I haven’t been getting notifications or have been getting the wrong notifications for the transactions. No fix is in sight. Reducing rating since I paid for this.

Pretty much useless to me

It would be nice to have a report showing all subscription expire dates, sorted from soonest to farthest. Other reports.

It would be useful to have a files to record where auto payments are coming from (which credit card, which checking account). This should not store account/card number. Rather a txt files where I might say, “ Costco card”, “chuck’s checking”, etc.

A field for a url or phone number for customer service, or where to cancel.

A field for frequency of payment.

A notes field for entering data that you forgot a place for.

I do all your stuff plus the above with Notepad. If you don’t include reports, Notepad works just fine.

Simplifies all the expenses

In today’s subscription heavy services, this is SubscriptionManager you need to keep track of everything. I also like how it’s only a one time purchase rather than you know - a subscription.
