On initial app start it asks for location and notification permissions, which is fine. But then there is a third dialog in Chinese with a smiley face and an 'ok' button. I have no idea what I'm agreeing to. Uninstalled.
I donβt rate all of the apps I use but I wanted to weigh in here as Astroweather had not received a lot of reviews and the ones out there are outdated. While there are a couple of Astro weather apps that I like better, this one should still be on your device. It is useful, accurate, is actively being developed and improved and does offer some tools (sky chart) that others do not.
The developer recently added English for the events tab and the events listed are broader than those listed in other apps.
The more developers we have working on tools for astrophotography the better. Support this one, it is worth it.
