Mail Tracer - Email Tracking Reviews

MailTracer overall has been doing a decent job in what it was made to do in tracking emails.

My only concerns is that there was another app called "MailTracker" on previous iOS versions before 10 that was more reliable in its tracking as it would let me know about ALL opened/read activity even in replies that were only sent using the iOS mail app. But somehow, it doesn't seem that all replies on this newer Mail Tracker app (after you send an email using it) are being listed in the tracking list when they're read by the recipient.

So basically, if I want to make sure all replies read by the recipient are showing up on the tracking activity list, I would have to send all correspondence through MailTracer itself every time. But this would be a hassle to always do because of copying and pasting the entire message conversation/content instead of just replying thru the built-in iOS mail app with ease.

Purchased the unlimited version right now, but it doesn’t do what is promised. If I open my “sent” message in Outlook it shows that the email was read by someone, which is actually myself. So far there is no confirmation if or when the actual recipient has opened or received my mail. So it’s useless. I want my money back! Update: Developer never answered my different emails! MailTracer is a total scam. How can Apple allow such an app? I want my money back!

Despite several reminders for a full refund this developer doesn’t even have the courtesy to reply. MailTracer is a total waste of money and doesn’t work as advertised.

If you use MailTracer to track emails, it is hit and miss. Majority of the time MailTracer says the email was opened, but really it is sent to a server and that is how it comes back as opened. I don’t want to know if a server elsewhere opens or receives my emails.
Also, do NOT upgrade MailTracer, wasted money!!!! The upgraded version will tell you what device opens your emails and it will tell you the date and time your email was opened. But if you are looking for MailTracer to track where your emails are opened, that won’t happen! Do yourself a favor and don’t waste your time with MailTracer!!!

This tracker is very simple, and easy to use. Sometimes I don't always trust the number of clicks an email has form a single person - but knowing they have seen my email has helped me immensely!
Would recommend for sure.

At some point, I seemed to have downloaded MailTracer to my phone, because all of a sudden, MailTracer opened up in my pocket and bought an add on. I tried seeking a refund and the response was the developer doesn’t accept refunds. I’ve never used this, and don’t even use Apple Mail as my app. Please stay away from this application, so your money doesn’t go away like mine did.

Great application. Superb helpful with my work. I can track read messages and nudge people when they haven't read or opened my messages.

It is very helpful tool especially when you track an application for a job, you can track the reaction to the HR department

It does what it says it does, at least now I don't have to do the guessing game of whether or not my mail has been read or not, or how many times it's been opened.

Does the job, does not work on iPad.

It compresses attached photos and changes the quality to the point that they are no longer viewable.

Purchased pro version and wish I had not.

Yeah I used many others , but this is super smart i found , simple easy and quick.

Signed up at great expense to actually see who opened email. They should explain that to actually see who opens an email requires $$$$. This is not explained before you try to track an email, and all it did was take money and give nothing in return.

So far so good. Only done a few tests to myself, but probably upgrading to pro soon. Give it a try. Amazing app.

Buy MailTracer to learn every email you send has a header “ Sent Using Mail Tracker” and it will cost anther $30 to buy the “Pro” version to remove that header. I like to track down this developer and squeeze until my money reappears.

MailTracer only worked one time and it had cities all over the country instead of the city where it was opened.

One star only because there isn’t a choice for 0 stars.

I downloaded the free app and tried it few times and it worked fine. Then when I purchased MailTracer fro 28$ it didn’t work. I sent an email to developer and been 5 days with no reply.

Friend reading my mails in Indiana but it's registering in Illinois or Georgia half the time? Me opening mail and it's giving three different cities in my state and now it's showing a totally different operating system. It works fairly well but the accuracy can be frustrating.

It's awesome. I can track who reads my email discretely. Considering upgrading to pro already!
