Should be pulled from the certified list

Used in a 2023 International LT. it would make up odometer readings not matching the actual Odometer. It does not have odometer segment readings like Keep Trucking has. Trailer number and BOL number would not populate in reports generated even though it was entered correctly in the tab. Logging out for team driving is not obvious and ripe for logging errors. You can not transfer incorrect drive from one driver to the other. It did not come with the DOT Inspection directions card. Took some time to locate the PDF to print since this is an FMCSA requirement to have on hand.

Biggest problem, you can’t download logs to save unless the thing is plugged into a truck. This was the only option at the Truckstop to use in a rental truck. It’s not great. It is not compliant. If I knew how bad this was, I would have over nighted the JJ KELLER or the Blue Ink device.

This device is no replacement for a real ELD Device. I wouldn’t recommend for any long term use.

Piece of crap

First the app would crash and I would have to Reenter all my admin and driver information, I was able to fix that by saving it a jump drive and back up data but then came the government audit and the CSV file wouldn’t upload to Garmin eLog Web Portal. Called support and they ‘created a file’ Leaving me hanging! Very Frustrating! Support said they were having a small amount of ‘cases’ and no one could help me that day. Do not buy this product! It’s a scam! Garmin needs to pull this product off the shelves!

Words can’t explain how much I hate this app and the piece of junk eLog device. Ever since I’ve bought it and used this app it’s nothing but issues one after another. First off the eLog doesn’t even read my miles on my truck. Secondly I have times where it acts like it’s disconnected. Lastly this has happened more then once it wants to erase all my information with my logs and reports now I have to literally start over with new logs I have no driving history or nothing try explaining that to a Dot or cop
