Desk Clock - Analog Clock Face Reviews

I use this clock regularly. I like the analog view, especially when I am waiting for something to happen or on a deadline. As the time clicks by it seams more real bc I can see the minutes and seconds pass or approach depending on the situation. There are a few ads but easy to close compared with some other apps where ads linger. IMO nothing better than an analog clock with a second hand.

It does exactly what it says on the tin. I use this while doing accupressure on my dog it gives me a proper timing while calming me down as I was thx the ticking of the second hand.

I must say the full screen, loud audio ads are horrendous when they pop up. Just pay the $.99 and they go away. Worth it.

It seems a nice app but I’m worry about it may burn my phone pixels if I keep it on 7/24. There is an app that will shift a couple of pixels each minute to protect screen. If this is a feature, I’ll purchase it and run my iPod as a digital clock. I rated it 4 for now. When future version has that pixel shift feature I’ll rate it 5. Otherwise, if there is now improvement I’ll rate it 3.

The only thing I was disappointed with in DeskClock is that after I paid for it there were no additional skins to choose from. The clock faces they have are very similar to one another and pretty boring. I think they could make something prettie, and i wish they would at least use another font for the digits and offer more colors or patterns.

This is a nice clock widget and design BUT??? Even though the clock keeps accurate time and in sync with the time on my phone, the second hand will stop and then go and will tic erratically and sometimes it will move at 3 seconds at a time and sometimes normal. But the clock is still keeping good time inspite of this happening. It would be perfect if the developer can fix this.

App does what it’s supposed to do. Easy to see and read at night, I like the analog look and sweeping second hand. I paid .99 to remove the ads and do recommend this feature. Thinking about buying the upgraded version for 1.99 that has all the features which is how I was prompted to write this review :)

I love that you can set a wake up time within program, with no need to grab the phone and fuss through the many app I own. Swiping up and and down for brightness rocks. It is accurate, though some faces aren’t as clean on their faces; I have the Premium membership, though the regular membership offers things I can’t see myself using anytime soon.

I needed a clock with a large screen face and found DeskClock on Apple App Store. I chose the analog style with a second hand and I have got to say I am ecstatic with DeskClock. It does what I need and provides me with a large analog clock face which is perfect for my vision these days. I’d give it 6 stars if it were possible. Great app!!!

Everything but a simple and clear clock that is white with hour numbers and minute marks? This kind of clock is probably the most common clock face around, but it’s missing. It’s the easiest one to see and read. A black version in DeskClock has the hour numbers and minute marks but it’s not as easy to read as a white version would be.

I have been using this clock and alarm in my bedroom for more than a year. It never stops, doesn’t make noises and keeps me grounded in the middle of the night. Well designed. Not only a clock but a variable alarm clock, with persistence!

I like the clock face. I don’t know if there is an alarm. I’d like it to replace my current alarm.
The most important thing to me that this doesn’t have it on the Home Screen when I open it. Why should I have to open to ap? I don’t get it. I’d like it to my only clock. Why not make it more automatic?

I LOVE DeskClock, it’s perfect, I use it every day to check time when I’m not facing a clock and I want a quick check for time. I also love the announce the hour when it changes feature.

Great as a bedside clock. Swipe down to dim. Don’t forget to swipe up before you close DeskClock or your regular screen will also be dimmed. Tried a dozen other clock apps, some paid, that aren’t as good and often try to do too much.

I was impressed that this clock can show a monthly calendar next to the dial. It’s the first sample face, prominently displayed but THERE IS NO SUCH OPTION. Also when you dim the screen the three corner icons stay bright. NICE TRY but wish I could get a refund. My bad for not investigating the free option first. I trusted that it would be as described. IT IS NOT. okay, so it’s only $2 but shame on this developer.

I really enjoy everything it does, especially the timer, because there are lots of things that I need to time!!!

DeskClock has a nice selection of clock designs that I like. But after I paid for the upgraded version, I realized that there are some major limitations.

1) I can only set one alarm at a time. And the alarm time must be within the next 24-hour period. But other apps allow users to set several alarms in advance for the entire week.

2) When the alarm rings, it shuts itself off after only a few seconds.

Just what I was looking for, simple but yet elegant design that makes reading the clock so easy. I just wish I could upgrade to eliminate the ads, but for some reason it doesn’t like my Apple account when I try to make a purchase. It seems it’s lacking a confirmation process.

. The clock face on a digital clock is kind of repetition sore kind of a flat line for me to look at with any regularitySo I much prefer the analog clock face a lot of people do. IJust downloaded DeskClock for this car close today so I’ll let I’ll write another review in a month or two and let you know how well it’s workin.

As a substitute teacher, I have to follow the absent teacher’s schedule. Not every classroom has a working wall clock, surprise! Since I have poor vision, I needed a way to quickly look at a big clock. This is my time saviour.

This is just a great basic clock to use by your bed stand or desk. Has simple to use features on the free version and you won’t go wrong I bought the no ad version and is working great

This even lets me use different clock faces at night vs during the day. My one wish would be the ability to customize colors to create even more clock faces.

Performs as expected. Except it requests a review within seconds of installing. Seems it would wait a couple days at least. I’m hoping this review will stop the requests.

I am losing my eyesight slowly- but I love this clock because you can dammit and still see it at night like a night light I give it two thumbs up

The rating would have been 3-4 stars if extremely LOUD ads did not automatically play LOUDLY even after manually turning off the LOUD ad sound. Desk Clock app reverted back to LOUD auto play and apparently there is no way to prevent ads from playing sound in the free version. It’s a shame because the clock screen, appearance, etc, is quite nice, and I think could be a great clock at my desk, but cannot tolerate having LOUD ad play at my DESK.

I need to use the clock feature for speakers when they are doing presentations. I like the visual analog clock but wish that the second hand “clicked” for each second like a real clock so that there was a visual reminder of seconds, instead of just gliding over the seconds.

I would like to see the local temperature as well (in a nice size font) and also have the ability to rotate clock. Other than that DeskClock does what I want including an alarm feature too.

Love the ability to have a clock for keeping me in time! I have used this at work and at home! Also useful for doing yoga and meditation!
