The developer has stolen the work of artists and should be reported for copyright infringement. Toonme should be removed immediately.

the very icon of Toonme is stealing art without the permission of the artist themselves. the artist is @cesar_mvs on instagram. even worse they are using the artists face without their permission. if this is just the first glance at Toonme i cannot imagine what the rest of it has in store for its users.

Toonme has plagiarized and stolen its icon for Toonme from an artist WITHOUT his permission. The artwork and portrait is that of Cesar Vergara. This is incredibly insulting to artists everywhere who have to deal with their art being stolen. Not only that but it’s misleading and misrepresenting towards the actual purpose of Toonme . This artwork was personally created by Cesar and has nothing to do with Toonme. The developer should remove the icon.

The problem I have here is that the thumbnail picture for Toonme was artwork done by a friend of mine, and it was used without his permission. He is already looking into his options, so to the makers of Toonme, I ask that you please make this right. Either clear this with the original artist, or use a different image. Thank you.

I don’t know if the assets in Toonme are also stolen, but what I do know is that the cover art is stolen from an artist on Instagram by the name of cesar_mvs. I follow him and saw when he first posted that, it’s not a result of this poorly made app. Even if the cover art wasn’t stolen, Toonme is basically dragging and dropping low quality drawings on photos.

Toonme uses stolen artwork. It’s right there in the thumbnail. I know the artist who made that piece and the person who made Toonme (Nazis Hussein) did not pay to use it.

On top of the theft, It’s a crappy, buggy, cheap, terrible bootleg app, probably coded in a carport cause I can’t imagine they. Can afford a garage. Don’t bother downloading. In fact, report it if you can.

It’s stealing my artist friend’s art and face as their main app profile.
If they do that, I wouldn’t trust the rest of Toonme . Kinda scared for them to have my info, but I had to download it in order to write a review.

Although the images in the description match up with what Toonme offers, Toonme is blatantly stealing the art and face of an artist by the name of Cesar Vergara without permission (as recently shared on his Instagram).

App developer stole Toonme image from an artist named César Vergara (@cesar_mvs) without acknowledgment or payment. If you’ve got the know-how to make the software, why not toon your own face and use it, thief?
