I have yet to get into my account and I have money in my savings that I can’t touch because I’m unable recover my password with my phone number and my email. Says email has been sent and nothing has been delivered. I enter my number and it tries to send to my email and not my phone. Makes no sense. I’ve tried deleting BrightsideFinancial then downloading it again. I even called customer service three times. They’re just as confused as I am.

My husband and I’ve been trying to stop the benefits as we no longer need that kind of credit. It will not let us click on the savings tab at all on the internet and if we do on BrightsideFinancial it just keeps loading and nothing happens. Not to mention, the bank they go through keeps things very private making it even harder for us to cancel the loan with these guys to prevent my husband from losing money out of his paycheck. It would be nice if it was easier on us and that the employees could have the ability to help us cancel the credit when we have a hard time accessing it ourselves.

BrightsideFinancial itself doesn’t have the links you need in order to fill out for a loan. While Brightside as a whole is extremely helpful BrightsideFinancial isn’t very useful for anything other than speaking with a representative. I can’t even view my monthly statements. Maybe update BrightsideFinancial to give customers access to do the application and view out statements

I’m trying to log into my account and being told it’s the wrong password when I haven’t changed it!

I had this issue last week, was able to log into my account by “re signing up” but now it won’t let me do that either. So now I have no access to my funds.
Very irritating, I just want to get into my account to STOP my automatic transfers from my paychecks and to be able to transfer my funds into my bank account.

Love Brightside and the easy access to financial experts. Lately BrightsideFinancial has been very glitchy and delayed in sending the messages and is cutting off part of the messages to where I have to constantly retype the last bit of the message. It didn’t used to do this so I don’t know what’s changed.

Hi, I have given 3 stars to inform other consumers that are eligible for services through Brightside that TrueConnect requires a $33,000 base pay. For any stay at home Moms/Dads, college students, disabled people, senior citizens, etc. they may fall beneath that threshold as part time employees, that may have trouble getting approved then I would like to inform them that the base pay threshold for the “no credit check” loan option may be why. I have spoken with TrueConnect and Sunrise Banks in which they have denied that such limitation exists although Brightside has stated that it does. Sunrise has stated that it would be illegal for them to dictate who can and can’t apply which that is true according to the federal laws under the FDCPA, ECOA, and the CFPB etc. The Brightside customer service was great and definitely helpful although TrueConnect & Sunrise Bank not so much. I will return with an update upon any new assistance that I receive in regards to a solution, hopefully I can give a 5 star review. I am just looking out for my fellow consumers. Thank you Brightside for your great customer service!

The service is a fantastic concept and I love what they strive to accomplish. I do dislike the fact that I built a rapport with a particular advisor and he was suddenly snatched from me…however, I absolutely love the fact that the opportunity for advancement is strikingly evident even from the consumer perspective. I’ve had at least 2 different advisors since my first one-in the course of two years for perspective.

The three strong stars are the service they deliver and provide.

The two missing ones are due to the horrendous app, I swear it’s possessed. It does what it wants, opens when it wants, completes transfers or advances when it wants. Another issue is that it checks the Face ID multiple times at inappropriate stages of the login process. I feel that it’s taking pics of me and possibly storing/sending them somewhere. Ijs…

Fix BrightsideFinancial ….

I just signed up and the Brightside app does not work at all. When I open up BrightsideFinancial all I get is the excitement and fun of staring at the Brightside logo. Great ideas, poor app. Please fix it asap.

I wanted to say thanks to Paulina for helping with the money issues solving. She explained me clearly and I understood everything. The only reason I gave a 4 stars of 5, because I have been frustrated with account through “True Connect” about weird stuff like reapplying 6 times. They wasted my time, but she did help me with that account. Overall she did her best for me. Thank you.

Janet is a compassionate friendly financial genius. Between me listening to her and following her every word and some luck I will be free of 24k in debt soon. She listens to me intently. I totally recommend this to anybody that needs help working out their financial issues. Brightside offers financial assistance that help take a look at your finances from an outside view and help focus on what’s important and set goals to help you get to where you need to be without the stress.

Easy to install and set up , once in I put in my information quickly and was matched with an advisor in about a minute or two . Easy and seamless process , more apps should be like this . We immediately began talking about plans to improve my finances 5/5

This company is amazing if your employer has it as a service they definitely care about your well-being and keeping your stress free. The financial advice is top notch wouldn’t ask for anything better. Couldn’t ask for anything better the employees work so hard to make you feel listen to validated and safe.

I’ve spoken to many financial institutions over the course of a couple of weeks and I have to say that Brightside has the best customer service and it’s so far is one of the most pleasant experiences that I’ve had thus far.

They are so helpful thought full see you though everything you need and after. Definitely recommend

If you are looking to improve your finances this is the way to go. Improve your credit, access your credit reports and scores, talk to a CFP, open up a savings account! You can do all these things with Brightside. Fantastic service.
