(2) Go to the Mirror for Panasonic TV app and click on Stop Mirroring.

When you use this app for the first time, depending on your model Panasonic TV, the TV might ask you to "allow" the connection.
Then, click on Screen Recording and start recording the screen to your Camera Roll.

I was searching what cable to buy to connect my iPhone/iPad to my old Panasonic 2012 TV. While I was searching I got lucky to find ScreenMirroringPanasonicTV, but I wasn’t sure if it’s going to work with my old TV, I contacted the support from Facebook, there was a real person who very very patiently answered/helped me with all the questions I have with my old old TV.
And now it’s working!!!!!! No cables/adapter needed, yeah 2020!
I can have anything from my iPhone/iPad to the TV, and I can cut my crazy pricy cable off!

This $4.95 app replaces a $75 Apple cable/adapter combo and makes it all wireless to boot. I wish I knew about ScreenMirroringPanasonicTV before wasting my money on the adapter and cable. ScreenMirroringPanasonicTV found my Panasonic plasma tv right away and connected to it no problem. Both sound and video work correctly using this small iPad. Thanks for a great app!

It doesn’t work in many applications, for example Zoom meetings. It also requires me to restart my system multiple times during use as it will suddenly not recognize my TV. I get booted out every few minutes when using ScreenMirroringPanasonicTV and have to stop everything to reconfigure again. Overall, more frustrating than anything and glitchy.

Does ScreenMirroringPanasonicTV not work with Amazon Prime either? When people are wishing to mirror- I think the most common thing mirrored would be videos from apps such as YouTube, amazon prime, Hulu etc. I would think that these video apps should actually play the video. Mine just shows my screen or the title of the show I am watching but won’t show the video/ tv show even though the audio works...

No issues. Very easy to set up. It does help to have your phone audio synced with the TV or receiver via Bluetooth

Good solution for our Panasonic Viera, for casting from an iPod Touch. Unfortunate that Apple is so unfriendly when it comes to mirroring (to anything other than an AppleTV) but glad for ScreenMirroringPanasonicTV as a fix.

I spent $5.00 for an app that doesn’t work. When I try to cast a streaming service to my tv I get an error that it won’t connect (probably because the cast is creating a recording). There should be statements about what will and will not work.

ScreenMirroringPanasonicTV has a clean layout and easy to use and streams most content. Unfortunately when it comes to streaming Xfinity Stream all you get an error message. It seems Xfinity Stream is prevented from streaming to your big screen TV. Since that was the whole purpose of purchasing ScreenMirroringPanasonicTV I was rather disappointed.
