The ad for dish music popped up in my guide while watching tv. Sounded good, says it’s free, I’ll check it out. Downloaded DISHMusic and opened, and it goes right to the privacy policy agreement. I tend to read privacy policies to see exactly how much info they will take if I agree. DO YOURSELF A SOLID......READ the personal information the collect before you just agree. Since it is free, you provide no payment information. But if you agree, you give DISHMusic permission to collect sensitive, personal, private information. It doesn’t stop there, but just read before granting permission to give up information on everything you use on your phone.

DISHMusic crashes all the time. I restart DISHMusic and start music and then it just crashes again. I miss the Pandora app Dish use to utilize.

Keeps saying ‘file not supported’, doesn’t access my playlists, crashes; all of my music files are Apple Music. If it has this much problems start over.

DISHMusic will not connect, after choosing several play sources, they all (Apple Music, Pandora, IHeart Radio. They connect to the play source and the small spiral wheel just keeps turning until it times out.

This is an awesome idea. But an awful set up! After installing, I ran DISHMusic and it was working great with Pandora. But during the 2nd song it started having trouble connecting. I fiddled with it for over an hour before I come to this conclusion & decided to warn others!

What's the point in having DISHMusic if I can't use it in my car??!!... Right off the bat it said connect to wifi!!... That's just absolutely STUPID considering I'm sitting right in front of my tv... I can just tune in on my tv... DUH!!.. STUPID STUPID STUPID!!! Get with the times DISH... If a person has internet on a device .. Then they should be able to use DISHMusic... WITHOUT WIFI!!!...

If you use Apple Music, forget about it. It always says that the file is unsupported.

Will not find dish receiver that is on the same network. Why does this application need to track my location too? Pay a lot of $ for dish network expect better.

I use DISHMusic on my Dish receiver and it worked but it went downhill after DISHMusic had an update and a new look. The new design is horrible, you can’t play Apple Music unless your Apple Music is purchased and Pandora doesn’t stream!

I would really like DISHMusic to play my playlist without timing out. Somewhere around an hour I have to log back in and resume what I want to listen to. As a paying Dish customer, please give me an option to set my playlist and have it play uninterrupted until “I” want to sign out.

I have a Dish Hopper II. I have installed and use DISHMusic on my Ipad 5, as designed. The problem I have is that when I close DISHMusic , my Dish Hopper freezes the TV. The menu system still works, but the screen is frozen with the last station I was watching. I have to reset the Hopper to continue. This is a major issue and I don’t know if it is DISHMusic or my Hopper or my Hopper is to old to use DISHMusic .

Pairing and staying paired with iOS devices seems to be an unresolved technical glitch for Hopper set tops. App controls are ineffective at managing set top connectivity.

Dish has a hard enough time delivering Hopper/Joey consistently, redirected music streaming ... not a value add.

I love the idea of DISHMusic. However, even though it does have the list icon, it doesn't play lists. And I really don't want to listen to all my songs alphabetically. It also will not let me control the volume through my phone.

I cannot understand DISHMusic , if a language is not available for DISHMusic , it defaults to a language not even supported by the Dish receiver itself. I felt my way through the settings for five minutes looking for a language option to change it to English with no success.

Sure wish this glitch would get fixed

Struggle with this every time I try to use it. Either it loses the connection to the tv or the tv program audio comes through between songs.
The now playing feature works with my iPod, but not my iPhone.

I love DISHMusic but why does it not let me play music from my Apple playlist just because I have Apple Music .

Great app, allows me to control music in any of my rooms that have Dish receivers with ease.

This is an app for hopper users to stream different music apps on phone to the hopper and joeys. You can even send it to all of your dish receivers to play music throughout your house in perfect sync. This is not a music app such as amazon music. It is to stream music from those apps to your tv. Really cool app!
