Pretty Crapy

Being able to quickly and effectively search for an address in these apps is absolutely critical for businesses and if they ever hope for business owners to purchase premium they need to work on that. But when you type an address it just sits there blank and puts a red underline to indicate I spelled “Kentucky” wrong. Sorry I’m not sure how to translate Kentucky Ave to whatever language FieldCalc originated in.

FieldCalc does not fit the screen, it appears optimized for an outdated iPhone. In addition every time I try and use FieldCalc , it takes me to google maps and there is no option to make any measurements.

You get one start for trying to get a review before I’ve even tried it.

I wanted to find the straight line distance between two cities. I thought I would be able to input the starting point then the destination. Nope. It defaulted to my current location and I never could figure out how to input the destination. I wound up scrolling across the map till I found it. No thanks.

Additionally, who pays $15/month or $50/year for this?

Completely baffled.

I tried several measurements of known distance and area. The measurements are so far off that it is ridiculous!! For example, I walked approximately half a mile North then turned and walked half a mile West. FieldCalc only measured 517 feet!!! That’s only one tenth the actual distance.

Area measurements are completely worthless. After encompassing a known area of approximately 100 acres, FieldCalc had NO area measurements. It popped up a message saying that the measurement couldn’t be saved because there weren’t enough data points. After multiple attempts at measuring area, I gave up.

I am grateful that FieldCalc is overpriced though. Had it been a one-time fee, I probably would’ve bought it. I am happy that I didn’t waste any money on FieldCalc .

Fairly accurate and easy to use.

I like FieldCalc it works for what I need it for the only downfall that I see is I wished the satellite images were more updated/recent.

FieldCalc is very quick in finding my location and is bevy accurate and easy to use.

This is my favorite gps app I just don’t like how you have to do a free trial but besides that I think everyone should download FieldCalc.I LOVE FieldCalc😁😁😁

Great for Measuring Area

Wanted to measure the square footage of my yard in order to know how much fertilizer to use. Didn’t even have to leave my chair!

I love that I can save these captures into a PDF or other vector point files, and do combining and other editing features with my software. This is an awesome application that uses the satellite to do the work for me.

Great app to track distances in town! I use it for walking my dog, after a mile, she gets the wobbles so it helps me decide what roads to take around the neighborhood. I will probably sign up for premium later. Just depends.
