I had an issue similar to other users. Free subscription could not be cancelled and “translated” into a paid one at over $20/month. I noticed on the second month and thought it was another security breach with my Amex. Amex statement does not list the name of TranslateMe just “iTunes” charge. I had similar fraudulent charges before and every time those were a result of a security breach. Replaced the card, hassle in itself, disputed the charges and now my Apple ID was disabled. Customer service at Apple was supposed to be open until 11 CST but, apparently, they changed it to 10 without notifying anyone. Very disappointed in this developer but, especially, in Apple customer service.

While TranslateMe in general does a pretty decent job, it is frustrating that it doesn’t always recognize being online and will not translate. Restarting the device, closing TranslateMe doesn’t work to correct the issue. This one I actually am paying for and it is only working about 75% of the time. Therefore should only be pay 75% of the bill. I am considering canceling the subscription and deleting TranslateMe . It needs to function at least 98% of the time.

TranslateMe constantly says ‘no internet connection’ When all my other apps are working on my WiFi..Probably does this because I opted for free version...What they are trying to charge for TranslateMe is BEYOND A JOKE!!! One option is for 20 bucks a week!!! Lol Are they serious? They then offer their best option for 40 bucks for the year...These developers are nuts!! If they just charged 10 dollars one time fee then it might be worth it...$9.99 for life in my opinion...These people are rip off merchants...Keep your money in your pocket and go with a $4.99 one time option...There are enough of them out there for just 5 bucks with no ads!

I would give this a zero star if I could. As other users, I cannot cancel the free one week trial subscription. I downloaded to try it today. It does not show up as a subscription, I think, because the trial is free. Even though it says you can cancel any time within the first week you can’t because it does not show as a subscription. Apple was no help because they just keep saying it isn’t a subscription, even though I had to click on free one week subscription. DO NOT DOWNLOAD TranslateMe UNLESS YOU ARE SURE YOU WANT TO KEEP IT AND PAY FOR IT.

TranslateMe is free for “7” days, then the customer is automatically charged at “6” days. Which, ok, fine, charge for your app. But don’t offer it for free, have TranslateMe say when opened it is free for a trial only and to go to TranslateMe Store to cancel, but give no way to actually cancel. Give it a go—there is NO WAY to cancel given as an option for TranslateMe on TranslateMe Store or within TranslateMe itself. I’m certainly not ok with being charged $99 for something I downloaded to tell my mother if it was a good app or no.

I downloaded TranslateMe and it said no connection, I specifically check my Internet connection several times and it still said there was no Internet connection. I turned on and off my Wi-Fi to see if it was my Wi-Fi. It appeared just to be TranslateMe , TranslateMe cannot tell when there is Wi-Fi connection or not, this is a big rip off and a bunch of waste of your space. Please show TranslateMe is worthy to download I am very frustrated with TranslateMe!

My daughter was getting married and her large Puerto Rican fiancé’s family Arrived and we all did not know Spanish with the help of TranslateMe we flawlessly Survived the week! And now My goal is to use TranslateMe to improve my Spanish!

I work in healthcare and thought TranslateMe would help, at 4.99 a month I didn't expect the popups to start “popping up” every sentence!! By the time I would turn my phone around for my Patient to read or hear the translation, there goes the popup, they would look even more confused than just from our language barrier. Dont bother unless you want to upgrade your $4.99 subscription, so annoying!!

TranslateMe is very useful when trying to communicate with students speed a language other than English. Thank you 👍🏼

This was the biggest rip off. Really my own fault for not catching it sooner. They charged me $10/week for a few months before I got smart and figured out what was going on. They also have an option for $10/month but they’re happy to take peoples money and not look back. Just wanted folks to know and be aware of the subscription you sign up for ...

I’ve deleted and uninstalled TranslateMe but I’m still getting charged for this. The same day that TranslateMe was installed it I deleted TranslateMe . When it asked me to use thumb print to install it it also went ahead and charged me for TranslateMe . I had no intention on purchasing an app that I was going to charge me to use it. This is the 2nd time I’ve been charged for this. How can I resolve this issue?

I didn’t subscribe any plan of TranslateMe but even after deleted app they still charged me for it. So I had to delete my card information in my phone but to pay for another app I just updated my car info and they took off the money again just right now.

It always says no internet connection, I have tried wifi, 3G, 4g LTE.
Have tried all language pairs.

But it just don't work. However ads are showing pretty well without internet 😋.

I have tried relaunching TranslateMe , even restarted the iPhone 6s as well.

this issue occurs for few hours, after that it started working.

I installed this program but it won’t translate because it will not recognize my internet connection. I rebooted my phone, but that did not solve the problem, so the program is useless and a waste of time. Guess I will have to watch my credit card activity now to make sure they don’t charge me for this garbage program. Such BS.

I thought this was a free app but no. You have to subscribe to even get a 7 day trial which automatically turns into an expensive paid version.

I don’t mind paying for apps, I have several paid ones, but I hate being deceived. Ethical developers list their prices up front instead of trying to trick people.

It says Get. It doesn’t say you’re going to be charged until you download and that’s not fair.

I’ve been charged for not using this for a few months...I admit it’s my fault for not checking my bank statements but there’s no way to cancel my membership...at least it’s not easy to do so without contacting them. I just emailed them and I’m waiting for a response
