(CORRECTION) ConstellationMapmobile does everything you’ll ever ask of it EXCEPT tell you when Betelgeuse will go supernova. I was SO hoping ConstellationMapmobile would tell me when. The devs should really fix this soon...

The only reason why it gets a 4 is that there seems to be no way to get it to show by name the position of all the planets in our solar system.

Edit for clarification:
As in, I cannot do a search for Pluto. When I try nothing happens. When I search for Neptune I see a circle blip when I follow the arrow. No name. So I would like to be able to see all the planets in our solar system automatically displayed along with the closer planets.

App looks nice, but it’s well over 90 degrees off: I point it southeast, but it shows north. Not useful that way.

I’m not sure what happened since the last time I opened ConstellationMapmobile , but it appears to be correct now. Unfortunately, there’s apparently no way to remove the ads, which means I won’t keep ConstellationMapmobile on my phone. Nevertheless I’ve upgraded my rating from one to three stars.

ConstellationMapmobile makes it so easy to identify constellations and you can even see what constellations are in different hemispheres! I love how it looks and that it is dark enough that it doesn’t blind you when you are trying to look at the sky 😊

I live in a small town in South Georgia. My neighborhood doesn’t even have street lights. Needless to say I get incredible stars at night. I use Orion’s Belt as my starting point. then I use ConstellationMapmobile to name all the stars from there. I used ConstellationMapmobile to find Venus and a host of other stars. Great app. Highly recommended.

I love ConstellationMapmobile. It doesn’t have those weird drawings of stylized swans and bears. It has the stars that I see when I look at the sky. The crosshair is great for poor light. When I can only see a few stars, I can tell which ones I’m looking at.

ConstellationMapmobile is better than all the others I have tried. I was searching for apps with more capability and found this one. Sure wish I had started with ConstellationMapmobile!

No annoying in app purchases. Perfect tool for backyard astronomy and keeps my little son busy too. Oh and the moon phases and the solar orbits are very nice touches. Nothing extra. Just enough. From a software engineer perspective I just like to say well done.

When I was younger, I had a star chart. Also have some binoculars for the stars, but that app was only a cardboard piece of paper laminated with stars on it I can actually move my phone around and hold the universe in my hand at the same time!

Awesome app. I would have been the next Edwin Hubble if this were around 30 years ago. Better late than never. Thanks for keeping it real and not selling out to the dark side.

I am not the person that likes a lot of apps but I love this you can search for stars and other but the only thing that I don’t like is where you can not search up galaxies and nebulas, so if you could fix that ConstellationMapmobile would be the best app, funny thing I don’t wright reviews that much so call ConstellationMapmobile a͛ t͛h͛u͛m͛b͛s͛ u͛p͛

Love ConstellationMapmobile. Unfortunately there is no way to give author money once, only subscription, which I don’t do. Ads not bad though. Recommended.

I’m not a really a Constellation geek but a great app to use to figure out what constellations, planets and stars your looking at in the sky. Quite educational and interesting. Really accurate.

Wow! I never leave reviews but for ConstellationMapmobile, I felt I had to. Amazing tool to observe the night sky (I use it for Astrophotography). Very precise and complete, easy to use and free!

Although I like the virtual Star map program; attempting to locate a star while using ConstellationMapmobile is extremely difficult. When I aim my phone in any direction, ConstellationMapmobile is many degrees off. The alignment is so bad, that you have to look nearly 45 degrees away to see ConstellationMapmobile star that your phone is aimed at.

I like the map-like format of the display. I can get all the information I want without the visual overload present in a lot of options.
Great app to learn constellations and star names.

Responsive map to your longitude/latitude. Learning to spot constellations & stars. Love the dark screen doesn’t disrupt night vision much.

I ama a pro astronomer and it has precise star location and it shows me whether the Milky Way has set or rises. Great app and amazing cosmic direction GET IT RIGHT NOW!!! You’ll thank me.

Other apps show hard to understand, very elaborate renderings plus commercials distracting the view.

My compass and the North Star show I’m looking north. As I’m pointing ConstellationMapmobile it is showing E at the North Star...

but ConstellationMapmobile was completely wrong on finding the moon!
