I really wanted to like this blender and app. Sigh😞. Too many shortcomings so I am taking it back for a refund. I will wait for v2. Too speedy for glitches on basic stuff. To top of mind issues 1) if it doesn’t blend fully the first time it won’t track if blend again. Should be continuous or a way to manually make sure it counts that smoothie for tracking. 2) I have tried a dozen times to save a smoothie recipe. I have created my own recipe and I don’t see a save button and when I leave the screen it loses it. Too hard make it simpler. 3) I have yet to figure out how to add an item to my pantry. 4) Thought I would like the tracking but I don’t want to have to use my iPhone SE every time I’m ready to make a smoothie. 5)Integration with Apple my health is nice 6)connection with phone can be wonky and makes you start all the way over if it turns off arrgghh. Should have a way to pick up where left off.

I am having the same problem as another reviewer: all data except Create Your Own recipes are gone at random!! I open NutriBulletBalance after connecting my blender as usual and all data is gone! I am still logged into my account but all of my saved Favorites and in general searching through the A-Z section, only 2, sometimes none, recipes are showing! I have to delete NutriBulletBalance , re-download it, log back in and sometimes that doesn’t even solve the problem. I just did this actually and all the recipes are there not logged in. I just logged in and all my saved favorites are gone. The concept of this Bluetooth smart weighing sensor is great since I don’t need measuring cups and the animation is helpful as it fills up as you fill your cup and is awesome for precise calorie tracking. Very convenient but all of this awful technical difficulties makes it not worth it. PLEASE fix this data wipe issue!!!

I’ve been using NutriBulletBalance for a couple of weeks and so far I have been disappointed.
I have followed recipes and added some of my own items into a copy of the recipe but I don’t like how you can’t pre-enter how much of an item you would like to put in the smoothie before measuring.
I also tried to make a few smoothies of my own and during the process NutriBulletBalance crashed which is frustrating because all of my data and measurements were not saved. The blender is still awesome but NutriBulletBalance is frustrating.

The blender itself overall works pretty good. After having this blender and app for a few years now, I will say I have tolerated it, not enjoyed it. NutriBulletBalance though is absolutely horrendous. The development team needs to step up their game and fix this embarrassment of an app. NutriBulletBalance is horribly buggy, consistently not allowing me to add ingredients to a custom blend (I have already reported this bug). NutriBulletBalance has weird memory issues, showing old ingredients when I select to create a new recipe, something which it has NOT done in the past, but does now. The layout of NutriBulletBalance is confusing and convoluted. NutriBulletBalance shows all nutritional information when adding ingredients EXCEPT THE SUGAR CONTENT! WHAT??? Why doesn’t this show the sugar content as I am building my shake? HUGE oversight.

Overall, NutriBulletBalance feels as if it was built overnight. Total embarrassment.

The product is great but with all good products NutriBulletBalance can break it or make it when it comes to smart devices. Love the ability to weight items. Love how it keep tracks of nutrients and goes into health app so well.

Where it falls for me is creating recipes. Once you create it and save it stays in the create recipe and keeps old contents. You have to delete everything manually and start over if you are making something new.

I also would like to see recipes for other things like salsa and tomato based drinks for morning cleanse drinks. I’ve found several online and even on NutriBullets site. It should be in NutriBulletBalance and it is not.

I enjoy using my NutriBullet Balance for it measuring/weighing features. However, I believe the nutrition tracking is inaccurate. This is due to the fact that when I create a recipe NutriBulletBalance only allows me to enter generic ingredients or THEIR brands. When I entered the same recipe in the Myfitnesspal app, it allows me to bar scan the product I’m using and thus creates more accurate nutrition tracking. NutriBullet’s tracker indicated 192 calories while Myfitnesspal indicated 326 calories. That’s a big difference for someone watching their daily caloric intake. Without accurate nutritional information, doesn’t that defeat the purpose behind the features of this product?

NutriBulletBalance needs a big user experience design makeover. As another reviewer mentioned, NutriBulletBalance 's interface is not even sized correctly to the iPhone X - it actually seems off even for other generations. Totally lazy or rushed job?

Very disappointed, especially for a well-known brand that is higher priced. User experience design and research clearly wasn't done well for this release.

Also, your User Manual states all parts can be washed in the dishwasher on the top rack and proceeds to note 3 components that cannot be washed in the dishwasher. Understandable with electronic components, but your cups do not fit in my dishwasher on the top rack. Not even close. Only the lids can be washed in there, which means the manual is overselling the convenience of maintenance. My dishwasher is a standard GE dishwasher, so I'm curious how many customers are having this same issue.

I have limited counter space and the compact size is helpful, so I was really looking forward to getting this... but I will likely be returning it soon since there's too many frustrations for daily use and NutriBulletBalance is really unappealing. A great user experience is critical and should not be overlooked.

I love that you can get exact nutrition facts as you pour it in but it needs a few tweaks. It would be amazing if we could add things that aren’t just natural or NutriBullet brand. For example if I could type in a different brand of protein powder or something as simple as lemonade instead of just lemon juice. Also it would amazing if I could scan a barcode and it come up as an ingredient. I would also really appreciate it if I could connect NutriBulletBalance the MyFitnessPal app! It is a great start in this product and app! I can’t wait to see what improvements they can make to NutriBulletBalance !

Great blender!! It was a Mother’s Day Gift! I used NutriBulletBalance and created my own recipes which is awesome! I just wish it was more convenient to add the ingredients that you've already added to your pantry!! I also wish there was a way to share created recipes from other NutriBullet Balance users who have created recipes; maybe it can be optional to share!! Otherwise NutriBulletBalance is pretty cool. Another option is to be able to create your own recipe without having to actually make it in the blender at that time!! I look up recipes that I would like to try but have to right them down instead of storing them into my recipes.

The balance blender is only as good as NutriBulletBalance! And NutriBulletBalance leaves a lot to be desired. The feature of tracking your portions is only good for your initial blend. If you attempt to track a second portion later in day there is no way to add this. It’s nearly impossible to create new blends as NutriBulletBalance doesn’t recognize items not already in its database.
The whole point of the balance is to use NutriBulletBalance features, I wish I had saved money buying a blender that just blends as that is what I use it for!!!

I’m sure NutriBulletBalance when using a prebuilt recipe, but once you try to make your own recipe, that’s where things quickly fall apart. The convoluted interface is useless. The instruction manual is useless. Not much thought was put into it.

Edit: reading through the comments, NutriBulletBalance seems to be abandonware. Poor reviews from a year ago seem to not have been addresses. I’ll be returning the blender and deleting NutriBulletBalance from my device. Don’t waste your time, return the blender now. It’s a shame apple allows this low quality app to be available on NutriBulletBalance Store.

I have try different ways of creating my own recipient to no luck.
I try connected through Bluetooth, I have try not connected and the result is the same. It measures the ingredients all right, but will not record the name of the ingredients.
The most important information is missing.
Calories, carbs, protein etc,.
I really hope they will look into fixing their app.

Before using NutriBulletBalance, my favorite recipes involved a lot of bananas, pineapple, & coconut water. While the smoothies tasted delicious, I found myself gaining weight. Now, the NutriBullet Balance gives me the information I need to get back on track with my diet goals without the hassle of having to write everything down.

I had a little problem getting the VN to work for me in the beginning but have been able to work it out. Thank you Customer Service for your quick reply. Now I can use all the features of this blender and truly love it! Thank you 🙏🏼

This simple app works pretty good if you’re just using standard recipes that are in the database. However whenever you start to create your own recipe as soon as you edit the name and hit the back button NutriBulletBalance crashes it did it three times in a row this morning trying to create a new recipe. Please fix NutriBulletBalance crashes.

As a cancer survivor eating right is the ticket! I love what I can create and track what I consume. Problem lately is NutriBulletBalance keeps crashing when creating a new recipe and it crashes when you want to add ingredient... I have not deleted and reloaded yet because i just know I’m going to loose all my persona recipes....

The blender is incredible! But very disappointed by NutriBulletBalance . Cannot do anything on NutriBulletBalance without it crashing, especially the “Create Your Own Recipe” option. Also very glitchy with creating an account and trying to sign in. I hope there will be an update soon.

I really wanted to like NutriBulletBalance. I think it has the potential to be amazing, but it lacks a lot of functions.
1. Would like to upload to MyFitnessPal with all my workouts and other food items. NutriBulletBalance is too segregated from my other meals and workouts.

2. Would like to be able to scan a food item instead of using a generic item like pea protein which they show as 0 calories instead of the Vega protein I am using that has 160 calories.

I love the video help! I was able to watch one on how to create your own recipe and it worked without a hitch! I am using my IPad and not my phone.

It's a decent app, the integration with the blender is nice...

But in terms of finding recipes you're actually interested in trying, the search/sort features are quite lacking and seem to be mostly targeted towards weight loss. I'd like to need the ability to sort by nutritional numbers (eg, highest calorie recipes).

Furthermore, it doesn't work great as a calorie tracker since it only tracks the things you make with the blender - and that assumes you didn't do it in manual mode.

Reply: I'm aware of how to use the VN and had already set it to high fat and protein... A filter is different than sorting opinions.

The NutriBullet hype is the use of the application. The NutriBullett Balance app doesn’t have functions to edit, delete or modify to correct errors. Just spoke to NutriBullet company and representative said he’d advise NutriBulletBalance programmers of issues. However just looked at app reviews and appears application issues have been ongoing for a long time.

The NutriBullett blender has no value if the application doesn’t work. I am returning the blender! And deleting NutriBulletBalance from my iPad.
