- The app does not have a real-time schedule, so users may not know if a ferry is late.
- The user interface/experience is the worst in the App Store.
- It takes too many clicks to get to the use ticket section.
- It remembers the last number of tickets bought, which can lead to over purchasing.
The app appears to be working but no schedules are listed when I open the app only notifications
This is the 2nd time writing this. Your system keeps telling me I can not use my email and it belongs to someone else; thus I can not use the app. Also typing here is very slow v
“Transaction declined by financial institution” for attempt to purchase 10pk with AMEX card on app. Apple Pay did not work either. Called AMEX- no record of attempted transaction. Bought ticket with same card in POP machine at dock.

I have a monthly pass w/ bike on my Samsung android phone. Last night the app would not open and said 'Update now' - so I tried to update. I go through the proper steps but then the message appears "Install on more devices" and if I choose 'Install' it says 'NYC Ferry by Hornblower will be installed on your device soon', but after hours last night and this morning, and troubleshooting everyday I can find on the internet (clearing cache, up dating phone system, etc.) it will not install. I use the ferry several times a day and have ALREADY PAID for the monthly pass, through the end of September. This is a big problem for me.
