PrinciplesInAction idea is great! Kudos to Ray and the dev team great work! PrinciplesInAction is super useful as an alternative to the book to navigate principles and find what’s relevant to you when you’re dealing a particular situation. I think Ray Dalio is really trying to make it easy as possible to benefit from his huge experience which is practical and can be applied to anyone’s life no matter their background or industry they work in, and for free! This guy achieved a lot and now he is really focused on simply helping others find wisdom and answers to achieve their own goals too. Wonderful contribution to society, those who use principle know how useful this can be.

Great content. The multimedia aspect really enhances it. BUT...you can’t export anything. All the principles I added and all the notes I made are stuck inside PrinciplesInAction . For content you are supposed to use to grow and expand your life, this is a really big negative. So far, I haven’t found a way to work around it effectively.

The content and ideas are outstanding. Ray Dalio really has done a great job framing, clarifying and communicating his principles and other groundbreaking ideas. Having those ideas, and anything I add, stuck in PrinciplesInAction is a huge limitation. I doubt Ray would like it if he was on this side....

This is great stuff but it is marred by the fact that many of the diagrams don’t show and the other multimedia features (videos etc) of PrinciplesInAction just don’t work. Also I can’t save ”My Principles “. Lots to fix here. Also PrinciplesInAction should lend itself much better to group reading where sone have the book and others have PrinciplesInAction . The book’s principles are numbered and in PrinciplesInAction they aren’t. Lots of fumbling around to get on the same page when some have PrinciplesInAction and others have the book.

This really makes digesting Ray Dalio’s lessons convenient. PrinciplesInAction remembers where you left off in the books (which also contain extra media) you also get case studies for these principles as if you were a Bridgewater employee.

Honestly, the five star rating really goes to the Coach feature included. I’d say that is the most valuable tool as PrinciplesInAction can personally give you principles that would help you gain clarity and resolution to your most pressing problems. Fantastic stuff, I am extremely grateful.

After I watched the Stanford business school interview session with Ray Dalio, I decided to download PrinciplesInAction immediately. During the interview, I have noticed Mr. Dalio’s wisdom by having principles to help oneself stay realistic and humble. I can’t believe that he made PrinciplesInAction free and allow everyone to learn and develop their own principles. This is such an awesome app! Great job for having a such influential app! I would recommend everyone to read the book and use PrinciplesInAction for self-development!

I have been following Ray Dalio for several years now and read both his books. When I heard about PrinciplesInAction I right away downloaded it and have been amazed how much solid value I have received from it. Thank you Mr. Dalio for sharing your lifetime of experience with the next generation. I am a business owner and your expertise is a valuable part of my long term strategy. I recommend your book and app to all of my friends who are hungry for learning!

I feel that the concept of principles is extremely important to help one focus on what they really want in life and how to go about it I think anybody Hass to have a set of goals without goals you’re planning to fail I’ve taken an extremely large amount of classes on sales trading and dealing with people I need his help me hone and refine my expertise and not only sales but in everything else in my life I believe this book by Ray Dalio is a fine example of helping others

I thought both these videos were great but was particularly intrigued by the second.

The conversation on societal constructs and how some day Ray’s philosophy may be the norm really hit home.

I also am interested in the amount of energy we use in our current work structures because we are not transparent and how that affects anxiety. Do Bridgewater employees have lower levels of anxiety than other firms? That would be good data on the effectiveness on the culture.

It makes me laugh and cry at the same time. We live in times where we have this kind of information in front of us, makes ALL of the responsibility of applying it to be nobody else’s but our own. There is no more blaming parents, teachers, circumstances. Knowing it and not doing anything with it will make you feel worse than you ever felt in your life. Learning and applying it will make your life truly amazing. The choice is yours.

I love all the valuable info in this book\app. it is well worth the read. although it all seems common sense once you read it it is about looking at the truths, self-reflection, and making and living the personal changes that will optimize your journey to achieve the goals you set for yourself. No goal is too great no journey too hard when you systemize the actions and habits that will help you get there with like minded friends.

Ray has dedicated most of his life to show us how principles can power and guide your life. I’ve been following Dalio for 10 years and I’m so glad I found him. Putting some of Dalio’s principles in practice had not also helped me achieve better results on my investments, but a better life in general. I feel my life is in control and I feel more prepare for the challenges that will come our way. Very worth to explore PrinciplesInAction.

When I first heard of Ray Dalio, it was by reading another book called, “Money: Master The Game” by Tony Robbins. Ray was Tony’s mentor and that was the first time I heard of Ray’s “All Weather” investing strategy. It was brilliant! When I found out Ray was going to release a book called Principles, I had to have it. I might have been the first person in Hawaii to buy Ray’s book. If you need a strategy guide to life that 100% real and works, this is it!

Im having an issue where the book will jump backward during reading (specifically page 279) to a prior page. This has happened multiple times throughout the read.

The attachments are super cool and its a great way to get more information - video embedded, historical text, etc.

I’ve recommended PrinciplesInAction to multiple people.

I had an old friend tell me about Ray Dalio and it changed my life. I never knew I needed to read Principles until the day I did. PrinciplesInAction is seamless, has a free ebook of Principles in PrinciplesInAction , has a section of Dalio’s principles and allows you to add your own and favorite some of his. There’s a also a section with lots of cases and videos.
10/10 reccomend!

I haven’t gone through the full app but I’m already sure it’s going to be very helpful because I am currently reading the book , but I am disappointed that I spend up to 35 dollars on the audio book and digital book just for it to be offered freely on PrinciplesInAction , one of my principles is to save money but PrinciplesInAction makes me feel like I wasted it lol

At 29, my 1st business hit $3,000,000 last year and I’ve got to give credit to Principles for inspiration to improve my company and my leadership style. The methods make sense and really get the gears turning.

I’m also starting another company, Skills Co. based on many of the Principles... a true skills meritocracy to learn skills from the best experts. Thanks Ray, keep up the great work.
