WIC Connect Reviews

It’s been since February or March since this happ stopped working for me. Just like every one else said it just gets stuck on the authenticating page. I have sent emails to the state and got the run around with the first email. When I emails back all they said was that they were working on it and they were going to send a mass text to every one. It’s been over 1 month and nothing. This is a very useful app and I would like to see it running like it did.

I used to LOVE WICConnect. It’s much easier than calling the card or carrying around a paper that’s easily lost. However, I got a message that the login issue was fixed but mine still does not work. I login in and the page turns white and that’s all it does. It’s been like this for months!! I can’t wait for it to be fixed so I can start utilizing WICConnect !

DOESN’T work!!!!!! I can’t check my balance or scan my items to make sure they’re WIC approved! It’s a waste of space! I’ve already deleted and downloaded WICConnect again for the most recent version and it still doesn’t work! It reroutes you to a web browser and completely waste your time.! WICConnect was a good idea but it doesn’t work!! I wish I could give this Zero stars

I’ve tried several times to login and just can’t get passed the Mi login
All I get is an error pop up that reads invalid account and I am unable to even see any of my benefits
I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling WICConnect twice and the same thing happens
It’ll be easier requesting current balance at store before shopping

Scanner N E V E R WORKS! It’s already difficult as is due to the fact the little barcode section they give hardly ever matches up with the items in store. Going off the food guide is useless because you can get the EXACT ITEM pictured within your benefits and wic still won’t work. I’ve had WICConnect for over a year now and the scanner never works. It has a 1 star for a reason. Other states have amazzzzzing apps that actually work but yet whoever Michigan is partnered with for WICConnect clearly doesn’t pay attention to the reviews and actually put the work in to fix their app to be useful.

I’ve never been more frustrated at an app than I have the WIC app. It’s simply will not load. It’s constantly stuck on the “authenticate” blank page. I try to login to my account via the WIC portal website and it comes up as an error. Why is this not a priority? Does no one care that hundreds of women in the state can’t access their WIC balance, check for appointments, and use WICConnect at all? Does anyone even read these app reviews? This is a desperate cry for help to fix something that so many people rely on. We are important and this issue needs to be fixed.

for the past 2 months WICConnect will not even let me log in to review my benefits. It takes me to the authenticating page and the little wheel spins in the corner and that’s it. It doesn’t go any further then that. Had this problem last year with WICConnect so I deleted it and redownloaded it then it worked fine. I have done that multiple times now and the issue is still in effect. WICConnect also freezes and tells me things aren’t on the wic list that are in fact on the wic list. Terrible app that definitely needs a lot of work.

Have gone through all the steps to get to my account and can access online, but cannot through this useless app.
I’ve spoken with a login specialist with Milogin and it is nothing on their end. Have gone through the troubleshooting and “help” sections and it still says “invalid login.” I’ve submitted requests for help twice and never had a response. I’ve tried everything possible to find an actual number to call and can only reach a voicemail to one person who had not called back. Don’t bother downloading

WICConnect won’t let me login for the past two months now. It’s ridiculous I can’t see any of my stuff because it won’t allow me to login. They should really fix that and work on getting my a better upc scanner in WICConnect because the scanner never worked when I could sign in. It’s frustrating

I have no idea what happened, but I used to be able to access my account through WIC connect and now when I put my login information in, it literally does not move from the “Authenticate” page where it’s literally a blank white screen besides the top where it says “Authenticate”… it’s such a HUGE I convenience. It’s been like this for months now! I am able to go to the WIC website no problem using Safari, it’s just a hassle when I should be able to use WICConnect instead, hence as to why it was invented to begin with! I’m extremely frustrated and disappointed!

Never let’s you actually login; just sits on the authentication page with a never ending loading message. I even left it open on that page for 3 hours to see if it would eventually work, never happened. Uninstalled and redownloaded WICConnect , didn’t change anything. WICConnect used to work beautifully but with every new version update it just continues to decline in user friendliness and it’s ability to do what it was created to do.

Now I remember why I never used it with my first child! Tried downloading WICConnect again and giving it another shot with my second child, but every time I try logging in, it says “invalid credentials”. Soooo frustrating after I’ve reset my password multiple times, deleted WICConnect , and tried logging in on my fiancés phone. Nothing is working to get into WICConnect. Waste of my time.

It worked so well for the first few months I had it and then...it didn't. They made all these "updates" but the updates locked you out and then you had to log into the website. Now it just won't let me in at all. It's stuck at the "authenticate" screen. A great idea but poorly executed.

I downloaded WICConnect yesterday since I was just approved for WIC and was under the impression it would be super helpful but honestly I used it for the first time today and it was very annoying. I like that I can see my balances and keep track but I still had to bring the shopping booklet with me because not everything is listed and what is listed isn’t clear at all. Then since it was my first time shopping with WIC, I used the scanner to be safe before checking out and all my fresh produce AND apple juice (which the exact brand, oz, and flavor were listed and photographed in the booklet) all scanned as “non WIC eligible.” I checked it anyway and everything was approved. Very confusing and didn’t seem helpful aside from showing my remaining balances. Needs a lot of work.

WICConnect works great when it works. I haven’t been able to access it for almost two weeks. I’ve done an update, deleted and reinstalled but when I sign in it just goes to a blank authenticate page and that’s it. You’ve got to do better with WICConnect so that it can be utilized properly. Please fix this ASAP

Having the same issue as some of the others on here but I keep uninstalling and reinstalling WICConnect and it keeps going to a blank Authenticator page when I log into WICConnect , it worked for like a week and then went straight back to this, I loved checking my balance and knowing when my benefits were going to expire and renew. It’s now just sitting on my phone looking pink and useless please fix WICConnect. I don’t like bothering the WIC office.

I’ve never written a review about anything..I like WICConnect, it’s very convenient but I haven’t been able to view my benefits for about 2 months now and it’s frustrating..I’ve even called my WIC office and they don’t even know what’s going on. One lady told me that’s she was having the same issue. I have no other way to view my benefits so when is this going to be fixed. Like I said it’s been 2 months since I was last able to view my benefits..

I became a foster parent almost 3 years ago to 4 children. I had never received WIC before and so I was carrying my booklet every time I went to the store. One of the workers at my appointment told me about WICConnect and it has been a blessing for me. I have never had a problem using this and it’s very easy for me to check my unused food balances. I am not a tech person and still figured out how to use WICConnect. Give it a chance, don’t be impatient and it will work for you.

WICConnect hasn’t been operable for months. I would think the State of Michigan would be able to find someone who can get it back up and running.
WICConnect was very useful for its scan feature, as WIC product descriptions can sometimes be misleading.
For now, users should use the Fresh EBT app, but I hope they eventually repair WICConnect and update the GUI.
It just looks bad on the State to have this useless, ugly app sitting in WICConnect Store.

Now I can easily find the eligible products just by scanning. It tells the eligibility along with available amounts of balance.

I can make and track appointments. I just love it.
