GPS Navigation Maps Reviews

As a person who is blind, GPS apps have become a tremendous tool and app developers can easily make their apps fully accessible to the built-in Apple screen reader, VoiceOver if they simply follow Apple's guidelines. GPSNavigationMaps has many unlabeled buttons that makes it impossible to use. I am often needing to give directions to someone driving me to a destination. I'll stick with Google Maps for now.

It can get you from point A to B (i think) if you can have the address of where you want to go. From 500 miles away, a simple search for a business gave me results in LOS ANGELES! I thought it was funny.

Should be able to add more than one home/work/other places of interest for ALL navigation apps in this 21st century. I’ll stick with Apple Maps since I can get a result less than 500 miles away.

Used to work great before latest update. Regular navigation still works. However as soon as you select heads up display on SE GPSNavigationMaps crashes and restarts. Hope they fix this soon or back to Waze.

Needs improvement in address not quite accurate

Nice clean layout, good features.
But I just can't get this to show up on CarPlay.... and that is a baseline requirement for me. Also not sure how to set home & work...
I will look online for a manual.

Basic but useful GPS HUD. That’s about it. Very useful at night. Needs to be in miles and ability to change colors but works great. Hope they get it more user friendly.

I just downloaded GPSNavigationMaps and I like it so far. But I got it for the HUD display option and every time I try to turn it on, GPSNavigationMaps crashes. What’s going on there?

I switched to this because Waze is just not as good as it used to be.

GPSNavigationMaps is almost perfect. Good maps and routes but it gives odd speed limits sometimes. Possibly due to behind the scenes rounding after converting to mph resulting in the speed limit being displayed as 59 when it is really 60.

It took a few minutes to get the display settings to my preference (do not attempt while driving).

Even when you’re off-line it actually tells you how to get there it’s very cool and interesting I love it I haven’t really messed with that much but the stuff that I did I had to give a five star

The only problem is the speed limits are always wrong. It shows strange numbers, never round numbers, like actual limits. 44 in a 45, or 37 in a 35, etc.

As far as I can tell,(and I drive for a living) it’s as accurate as google maps,AND it’s offline...saving data is a huge plus.

I think by far one of the greatest GPS, many features that’s other apps don’t have... must try!!!!
