About: With Passio GO you have the ability to see real time bus locations, schedules,
and ETA. This is available for select agencies and different agencies choose to
show or not show the schedules, but you can always see where the buses are and
on which routes.

About Passio GO

Passio applications quickly and seemlessly track your vehicles and easily count passengers tagging them with GPS coordinates and time/day as they enter and exit, including different passenger types or groups.

As an operator of a system that moves people (transit buses, shuttles, vans, etc.), you need to count them and track them.

This is available for select agencies and different agencies choose to show or not show the schedules, but you can always see where the buses are and on which routes.

Please contact us at: [email protected] to setup a Passio Account to operate your own bus system.

With Passio GO you have the ability to see real time bus locations, schedules, and ETA.

N.B. You can run Passio GO without any registration, use for free.

Nice design but could have some improvements

I wish the map was less saturated so I could see the lines of my bus routes easier. It’s not contrasting enough and is difficult to look at the lines where the buses are going. I think this is a big minus because PassioGO my campus used before before had very easy readability on the map. Alternatively maybe even if the bus stop routes had bigger stroke lines so I could really see them.

I think the logos at the bottom are good but one looks distorted and the other is highly pixelated which makes it feel less professional. When you click the bottom options it’s nice to see that triangle to emphasize which option I’m on, but the triangle isn’t really worth it for how pixelated it is. If this was more clean and crisp I think it’d make it more professional.

I think the different route options and information and how the stops are displayed is really great. I like how I can see where the nearest stop is.

Poor User Interface

App works fine (so far. UConn just switched to it). The UI however is so bad. App is difficult to navigate. And the map is so garish and hard to look at. If I hadn’t been at the school for a few years it would be confusing to try and understand. I think a future update that would allow users to use different maps would be helpful

bad UI, not reliable or intuitive, hate using it

UA switched to PassioGO and now solely relies on PassioGO for everything. It’s not user friendly at all and very confusing to use when you’re trying to plan a trip in advance. When you rely on transit to get you to school and work, you have to be able to plan your whole day around the routes. It just feels like the people who designed it have never had to rely on public transit. The Blackboard of public transit

Won’t allow request.

PassioGO seems to only be good for seeing where the buses are. I have tried requesting a ride several times and it never allows me to. It says it’s requesting but I never sends it through. Unless someone else is getting on at the exact time I am, I’m left hoping it comes by. The buses are my only mode of transportation and I’m kinda screwed half the time.

Big improvement

The concept of PassioGO has always been good, but it did seem to have some shortfalls before. Now however it delivers on its promise. I know where the buses are and when they’ll be here.

Doesn’t work, terrible UI and functionality

PassioGO doesn’t work, no indication of what the stops are, routes, or even where the buses are. App constant crashes, even after updating everything. Looks like the terrible functionality is here to stay.

By

Terrible lately

I used to love PassioGO it was so helpful but now it force closes every time I open it so I can’t use it. Very upsetting as my whole life revolves around the bus. I’ve have uninstalled and redownloaded but as soon as I select my agency it closes. Why?

By

Wait time

When waiting for the bus on the health sciences campus going to the Summerville campus the wait time is way too long. I’ve seen at least 3 buses drop students off that came from the Summerville but not one bus has come to pick us up.

By

No buses on the map at all

When using Easyrider for the MOV you cannot see any buses on any route at all. It is in the dark. PassioGO also crashes when you attempt to view the bus schedule.

By

GT Buses are wrong and breaks are never accounted for

On minute 20 of my 3-4 minute wait for a bus because the driver took a break that isn’t factored into PassioGO , and the bus behind them was actually for a different route.

By

Closing every time unexpectedly

PassioGO closes the second I open it. can’t even use it. It worked okay for last semester.

By

Unreliable

Keeps saying cannot connect to server and showing buses that don’t exist. Deleting app and reinstalling doesn’t seem to help

Hardly deserves the star it got

My school (UA) decided to stop using the Rider app in favor of this dumpster fire. I don’t think anyone on the development team was prepared to release PassioGO yet considering it can’t handle more than 3 min of use without crashing. Under favorites, you can only save entire routes, not specific stops, and trying to click on a single one of those routes doesn’t even seem to work. I wish I didn’t have to be this harsh but this is an embarrassing launch and it’s unfathomable how anyone thought this would be a good time to swap to PassioGO. So many students, including myself, are going to have a significantly harder time using the school transit system.

Absolute Garbage

My university (UA) switched to this useless app from Transloc Rider, which had ZERO issues. PassioGO is missing buses, says the bus is hours away from a stop when the bus cycles are only 30 minutes long, is missing entire routes, won’t let you favorite a stop, has a ridiculous lag in GPS tracking, and you can’t even see the bus stops unless you’ve selected a route that goes through the stop! On top of that, PassioGO crashes constantly making you re-navigate though the clunky menus to find the stop/route again. It makes the bus system completely unusable. I’d give it 0 stars if I could. BRING BACK TRANSLOC RIDER!

By

Very satisfied with this app

I am so glad I decided to give PassioGO a chance. Though I am always resistant to change, PassioGO really does what it says it will do. It is easy to use and provides accurate information about when my bus will arrive. Saves me lots of time getting around campus.

Something Needs to be Done

If I could give PassioGO zero out of five stars I would. I cannot express the pure frustration I experience with PassioGO. My school recently changed over to PassioGO and I have not rode the bus since. They don’t have all the buses on there and even when they do have the bus on there the time is so incorrect. I stopped waiting for a bus one time thinking it would take over 15 minutes to get to my stop and when I was halfway across the parking lot the bus pulled up. In summary, PassioGO is a train-wreck.

By

Just does not work.

Our school switched to PassioGO without telling any of the students using it. If PassioGO did what it advertised, then that wouldn’t be a big deal. But it doesn’t! It looks like a third grader coded PassioGO , it is so choppy and glitchy you are lucky to even find the bus route you need. And if you find it, good luck figuring out when the bus will be at the stop you need.
Over all, you’d have more luck sitting and waiting randomly at the bus stop than you would if you tried to time it.

By

Terrible app

The only reason I gave PassioGO one star is because I couldn’t give it zero. This is possibly the worst app I have ever used. It is not user-friendly at all, and the timing of the busses has yet to be correct for me. It changes arrival times constantly in a random pattern and doesn’t even show you the stops each route makes. My school originally used Rider (which I originally thought was bad) but I’d much rather have it back because this is terrible.

By

Trash

PassioGO is such trash, I had thought I was able to overcome its shortfalls but today was the last straw. It showed the bus to be 7 min out, so I was like I’ll head out now and just wait on the bench. Well I get out my door after grabbing my stuff (2 min) and the bus is pulling AWAY from the bus stop. Absolute trash. I can’t tell the two gold routes apart bc their color is so similar. The route times are completely inaccurate. UA should’ve never switched from the ridr app

By

It’s not THAT bad

I mean it’s kinda hard to understand how it works, I know, but at least it told me at the right time when the shuttle was coming. I’m giving it 5 stars because it did what it was supposed to.

By

Gets the job done

PassioGO works every time I use it. Not sure what the disgruntled comments are about since some of what they complain about is certainly not PassioGO 's fault. Not perfect, but useful!

By

Horrible

PassioGO doesn’t allow me to click on anything. UA was using rider which lagged sometimes but like 95% of the time was accurate. PassioGO never works and if I try and click on routes it exits me out of PassioGO on WIFI and off. I don’t think PassioGO was very well thought out because it’s awful I never know when the bus is gonna arrive because the times are all wrong. If it could give it a zero I would.

By

Trash

UA decided to switch to this under developed trash after using the same app for at least three years. Rider had its problems but it never told me a bus on a 15 minute loop would be at a stop in 2 hours and 17 minutes. Half the buses aren’t even on PassioGO . Almost unusable.

Update: the bus is on its way to a stop and the tracker says it is 3 hours and 17 minutes away but it’s 17 minutes from the stop right after!

By

Absolute Garbage

I haven’t been able to use the bus since they switched apps. Buses always come much later than the estimated time and I can’t see a schedule for the stops to see if the bus will be places soon. PassioGO crashes constantly. I think this is UAs attempt to lower bus use because now it’s faster to walk literally everywhere on campus than to wait for a bus.

By

Everything is broken

Times aren't updated so you get to see the bus that's 5 min away take off as you walk up to the stop. Or, the bus is "1 min" away for 20 minutes - didn't realize PassioGO was a time machine. And half the time if you press on a stop to see the times for next vehicles coming, PassioGO glitches and shuts down.

By

Bring Transloc back

PassioGO is terrible compared to Transloc. I can’t click on any individual bus to see when it will get to a specific place. When I click on a bus stop it says that there’s no bus running that will stop there. But, there is very clearly a bus running on the route that is currently at a different stop. Hate PassioGO.

Great app!

PassioGO is great and perfect for what I’m looking for. It helps me easily see where my bus is and make sure I get everywhere on time.
